Waterfront room was close to the hot tub. The restaurant was excellent.
The room was too noisy.
The location was great. Right on the lake and walking distance to the downtown area with shops and restaurants. We were looking for a place to stay for the night and ended up staying for 2.
The best view of the Lake with great beaches
The room was really small!
It has a great location in downtown Chelan.
A bit on the older side, you can hear people walking above you. In the summer time it must packed with kids which we would not find fun.
Facilities - room, restaurant, location.
Parking - difficult to find a spot.
Location, beachfront and view, kitchen amenities (microwave, refrigerator), Especially like having an extra sink outside the bathroom for two people. Campbell's is a little expensive for me in the summer, but I splurged to stay there one night in the Fall.
Price. Large groups or conventioneers might get a cost-break, but for individuals it's pricey.
We loved our ground floor room which had a sliding door right to outdoor jacuzzi & beach. We also would have taken advantage of more of their on-site amenities had we had more time between check-in & check-out. They did allow us to check-out an hour later than the usual time of 11:00am. We thought this was great since when we went to check-in, which we were told was at 3:00pm, our room wasn't ready for an hour. The late check-out made up for the late check-in time which we thought was fair & good of them to honor. They were very accommodating when it came to ordering food to go from the pub. It was a Friday night & they were slammed just from on-site patrons of the restaurant. We were told initially to call back in half an hour to see if they were caught up in house so they could make us a to go order. They happily made us our to go order upon call back & were very nice when we came to get it. I work in the service industry & was compelled to tip the staff above & beyond a typical to-go order tip. I am happy to pay people a large tip when they show honest attempts to be helpful & kind. If only people would understand it's not easy to make everybody happy all the time maybe all of the servers would be tipped based on their intentions & effort instead of always on the final outcome. Often the outcome would be negative without their efforts & I appreciate that they made our to go order happen amidst chaos!!! Thanks pub staff!!!
The only thing I would suggest would be to allow guests to use beach, hot tubs & pools on the day they check out. We only stayed one night so once we were able to check in at 4:00pm & then check out at noon the next day, we didn't really have time to enjoy the beach & pool areas as we would have liked to after paying $200 for the night.
This is not your typical resort setting. A visit there reminds you of days gone by with elite family vacations on the lake with Adirondack chairs and dance lessons by the water. It is obvious that the town was built around this establishment since the early 1900s. It embellishes "if you build it they will come". We will definitely be back soon.
The first room we checked into had a tree blocking the view of the beach. We asked for another room and they moved us. All was good :-)
The feel and location, styling in the room, view, fresh air and beach front ate all great.
Forty minute wait to have a drink in the bar, no room service at all, so basically bring your own wine and snacks, or eat off property. Front desk ladies at check in were just like robots, no personality or sincerity, not kind.
we liked their location right in town. Restaurants food was great. Also the beach is nice with enough chairs. We used the beach and rented paddle boards. Also used the fire pit for smores.
The location and setting were beautiful. A beach, pools, hot tubs, lots to do right there
I would try to get a room on the top floor the next time. The people above us were very noisy
The resort has nice sandy beaches, great swimming areas, paddle boards and kayak rentals right on site and a beach snack shack and a bistro on sight. Great location to stay with a group of friends. Family friendly.
Loved this beautiful resort! Highly recommend requesting a waterfront room on the lower level...steps from the beach! Good is excellent! Must try the apple oat cakes!!
Bed had a divot in it which made it slightly uncomfortable.
Location. Grounds well kept.
Overpriced. Indifferent service in hotel and spectacularly bad service in pub. Rooms badly in need of up-date.
Everything was great.
The only exception was the hotel receptionist (she appeared to be pregnant when we stayed there in May) was very cranky and not knowledgeable/helpful when we asked for suggestions for a local restaurant.
Very comfortable rooms with a mini fridge and microwave. All the staff was friendly. Wonderful restaurant with excellent breakfasts.
Our stay was just very nice and we will come back again.
Happy hour at the bistro was amazing. Great views. Walking distance to grocery store, local shops and Starbucks. Rooms were very modern and clean. Overall great stay. Will definitely come back in the summer. Free parking and wifi were a great plus.
Wifi connection wasn't as fast as I would have hoped. Floors in bathroom were ice cold in the morning.
Loved the size of the king room. Appreciated the microwave, fridge, and Starbucks coffee. The view was magnificent!
Asking for more for the price would seem foolish, but a continental breakfast would have been the icing on the cake.
The staff were very helpful and informative. The gentleman at thedesk,I believe his name was David, were so friendly and professional. He made us feel very welcome. The coupon for 25% off is a great idea. I will definitely be returning
Gave us a free upgrade, very nice room.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
On the third and last morning , we went down for breakfast. The restaurant had closed.for maintenance for 10=days. If there were postings go.such, we didn't see them.
It was great and the rate was reasonable. Would always recommend Campbell's for food, view, staff and facilities.
