Each member of staff went out of their way to be helpful. Courteous.
The overall ambience of the hotel and the helpfulness of staff.
A bit worn out
Location Free wifi Amazing concierge Friendly staff
Outside-views from the window on the 4th floor.
I always feel so at home and welcomed. Everything is top rate and beautifully appointed.
Bath / shower impossible for my partner whose leg was in a brace following a skiing accident. You tend to expect a walk in shower these days, but perhaps we should have advised our needs in advance.
Small, elegant hotel with superb staff. We would choose to stay here again any time. Great location on Union Square.
Need more towel hangers to encourage reuse of towels.
Cozy hotel with great friendly courteous staff, good service and great restaurant .
Some ( two or three) of the staff in the restaurant and the reception are not very friendly and they seems like they just had a bad day every day :p
the hotel is kind of small but it's just amazing & clearn. The food in the restaurant and in room dining is delisious. Friendly and helpful staff
1. carpets need change , look old and not clean. 2. could not have a quick snack or anything to eat at 12:00 at the bar! 3. there is no view anywhere and you hardly see the sun in the room.
the bed , the room is peaceful and quiet.
15 min waiting for valet parking No spa/swimming pool No buffet breakfast
Good concierge and bellman staff Geat location
Staff courteous and helpful. I was able to check in early, after an early morning arrival on a transpacific flight.
rooms can be a bit small
Staff is attentive and service is dead on.Location is excellent!
Found it expensive for the period I was there 4th to 9 th Dec as rates then dropped after I left. Due to a medical convention in town the rates went sky high in SF . But I suppose I didn't know about that before. The view from my room overlooked the refuse bins all lined up in a narrow dark street . ( campton street) ..We were not allocated a high floor room as requested.
The service by staff was excellent. Location was ideal .Breakfast although a bit expensive was very good and served in a fine dining manner. The sleep quality was very good and one just sank into the luxurious bed . Loved the slippers and robe provided. The doormen and concierge services were very good and staff always friendly and courteous. A,very special touch when dining was being provided with cushions to place our hand bags on instead of on the floor . I found that so delightful .
We love the staff & the beautiful facility. My husband loves the fitness center, I love the dining & FREE coffee & fruits before the race!!!!
Nothing at all.
In every way, from arriving to departing three days later, this hotel is first-rate. Also, the dining is outstanding.
location and size
Night life can be noisy for rooms facing the alley, better in the higher floors away from the alley.
Location, very clean and well appointed spacious rooms
Rooms a bit small
Good service and very helpful staff
Small room Small shower / bathroom Not enough closet space
Staff Room is very Quiet
Left car unused 3 days in valet parking. Upon departure, battery was dead, needed to jump start, remote door lock no longer works. Car battery is only one year old.
Pretty pricey, especially for biz travelers, so this was our first time trying it out.
Great location near shops & restaurants. Had a nice view of Union Square. Service is outstanding. Awesome breakfast in the restaurant.
ive stayed at this hotel many times...it has lost its "polish" over the years. not sure if owners arent investing, or dont think its important. the place used to sparkle. the rooms look tired as does all the wood finishes. had to call about a stopped up sink....thats "hotel "101"! the price to stay here in not cheap, so i expected more. i will probably not return to this hotel on a future visit. i would tell others to stay if location is important...but otherwise, shop around.
the staff was great! great sleepy time!
Issues to check out a day early to leave transferred around. Not a 5 star feel. So overpriced for what you get.
Location. Close to china town, union square and walkable to the ferry.
