great location and service
air condition system
The food at the restaurant was very good.
The friendliness of the staff
The high price for internet! And what I found impertinent was, that you had to pay for each device extra, so when using laptop and mobile phone you had to pay for each! In addition the wifi was so bad, that I had change to cable/LAN- and had to pay once more
No free wifi
The dining experience was above average, slightly above upscale.... The Internet speed. The food overall. The room ambiance. The people on the other end of the phone. Room Service. $30 cookies were deelish.
The gentleman Hotel Manager on Saturday evening I had an issue with..... I was in a rush checking out and Valet brought my car 20-30 minutes late..
Location is good. Walking to shopping district. Concierge and door man are good and helpful.
Don't stay on 16th and 17th floor. The sound of the lift machine and cables will not let you sleep. Also reception when requested to change room, they asked me to sit in the lobby and spend the night.. Had to call them three times and took one hour to arrange the room. And not once did they apologise for our discomfort. This hotel is not a true Taj. It's basically ruining the name of taj and India.
The old fashion service, turn down bed service, all the little amenities in the room, the breakfast (you had gluten-free toast!). I will stay here again in the spring for the annual dermatology meeting.
Great locatiom, close to main department stores and within walking distance of ferry terminal.
We Loved the Hotel. The concierge Perri was so helpful and lovely. The front desk was wonderful! It was a fabulous trip. The bed linens were so soft and a pleasure to sleep on at the end of long, fun days in SF.
A very well run hotel with a professional staff. The facilities are not exactly that of a luxury hotel but the rooms are well furnished.
The rooms on the lower floors are quite dark.
Basic business class hotel. Bathrobes were exceptionally nice. Enjoyed the breakfast service.
Understaffed check-in desk. At time of out check out there was only one person handling both check in and check outs on a rather busy Saturday morning. Management should know better and save cost elsewhere than on personel risking damaging customer experience which certainly was the case with us. Maybe a small nuisance for some I found it unacceptable to wait half hour to settle the final bill (and make several corrections on it once presented)
5 star hotel that still charges wifi per device.
It was very quiet at night-very easy to get in and out of. The staff was welcoming and friendly, helpful. It was a very simply decorated property - very lovely. We like smaller hotels and this is definitely not your big bustling frenetic hotel -smaller and more intimate. we will stay there again!
the concierges were very helpful for making plan suggestions as well as the reservations.
Friendly helpful staff front office and all the concierge.
Nothing. I just recommend enhancing the TV channels to include more variety.
- Rooms are comfortable
- You have to pay for the internet and for each device. - Small Rooms
TV was on.
The beds are so comfortable and linens very luxurious. Ease to shopping, limo service, excellent food, friendly staff
The rooms lack decor such as accent colors and fine art on the walls. My window opened unto the alley which had a noisy night club. Mostly loud people hanging out side the venue
the rooms are clean, the service is good, excellent location
there is an annoying smell in the lobby and the corridors of the room.. that is not good at all.
The location. We had a very beautiful bathroom
We had to change rooms. We thought our room was noisy (machinery sounds). The employee that listend to our complains told us we had the most noisy room of the hotel and gave us a nice quiet room. Why should you give guest a noisy room when other rooms are not occupied?
The staff was pleasant and efficient. Even though the hotel was located on an extremely busy street, our room on the third floor was quiet.
The rooms are in definite need od renovation. Carpets were old and dirty. Furniture was shabby and not in a chic way. Bed covering looked like it was straight out of the seventies, worn and ugly. When a traveler pays this much for a hotel, everything should be first class.
Hotel was great!
The Restaurant is too small and while service was excellent the kitchen messed up our order.
Location perfect Co-openation staff
The gym on the roof and it was cold.
bed is very comfortable, the Organization in room is pretty good
everything is OK
Excellent service. Great location.
No free wifi in the guest room.
