Location, staff was friendly, excellent value
Street access was weird, but not necessarily bad
The people there were very friendly
I think we caught them on a bad night. The first room hadn't been cleaned The second room had an Ionizer going in it and smelled horrible The third room was ok tell morning when we went to shower and rocks and dirt came up through the drain
Had to relocate us could not handle the musty smell, very strong in the first two rooms , third was ok. Lots of tweekers there, not fun to watch. Especially with children.
The room was clean and the staff was very hospitable. Within walking distance of many places to eat.
We regularly drive between Northern California and Seattle. Campus Inn in Eugene is the perfect place to stay on both the drive up and back. Comfy place to stay, excellent staff, well managed, very good value.
Good location, very helpful and friendly staff, clean furnished room.
The bed had box springs (I think) and was so soft we rolled into each other all night. Woke with back pain and considered leaving at 3:30 am
Cleaning staff very nice and friendly; man who checked me in very aloof; I asked for local map and he said they did not have any; the next day I saw the maps on the counter by window. The woman at the counter next day was very nice. Bed pretty comfortable. Plenty of supplies in room. Great walking location to town.
Plain, unattractive, unappealing room; fan in bathroom broken. I mentioned to woman the next day and she seemed very responsive to getting it fixed as soon as possible.
The price was excellent, and the location was good and the front desk staff were helpful and cheerful. The bed's were comfortable and the rooms were roomy.
One has to keep in mind that this is a budget hotel so my expectations weren't that high. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were really hard and I woke up with a headache every morning. Still, I would stay again - just bring my own pillow :)
A comfortable , well located Inn. We were given easy to follow directions to the Inn from I-5 North.
The lobby was so small, when it came to eating breakfast we ended up taking our food back to our room. Not something we like to do.
Our check in clerk was so very sweet.
Bathroom was filthy, stains on the toilet, looked like it got passed over when cleaning.
The breakfast in the am was good. Easy to spot hotel with tree lights
Our room was dirty when we arrived. There were huge wet spots all over the floor. There was also hair in the bathroom. Toilet paper was used already..
The room was great.
There was a little bit of trash on the desk drawer. Trash not taken out before I came to stay.
Worn look to the rooms and bedding, bathroom--but probably commensurate with cost.
Shower temperature was very difficult to regulate. Scalding hot at times. Manager was informed. Knew what the problem likely was, assured he would have it fixed promptly.
We liked the location and proximity to downtown.
Our front door (room 232) was warped at bottom (caused by other guests) but needed to be repaired because flies were coming in from the open area...needed to put the comforter at door bottom to sleep.
Proximity to both the university and downtown, comfortable, quiet room, better than average breakfast.
Cleaning staff was pushy
Booking experience thought I'd already been charged, found out I was not and was re charges at counter- now I'm over draft
The clerk first placed me in an end unit on the bottom. It was right next to the road and I doubted I would sleep well with the noise. I requested another room on the upper level. He gave me a room on the second level near the hot tub. I suspected I might also hear late night partying at the hot tub but, walked in the room. It was obviously used recently. There was a fresh, half eaten burrito in the garbage pail. Some linens were in the sink while the bathroom light was already on in the daylight. There was an odd odor in the room. I did not stay there, nor would I ever go back.
even though bed was small, was comfortable.
I was told a micro-wave was in the room. not in room in office. Refrigerator was too small to use. The air cooler was too noisy keep my older kids awake all night going off and on. Was told not to keep any valuables in room but the way they said it seemed like they meant don't keep anything in room. So had to load everything into car each day. Door to our room was broken into and not fixed very well from previous. Employee's smoked on duty right by doors. We don't smoke but was told there was a 250 dollar charge if we did. Poor example when they can smoke right next to your room.
Great location and within walking distance of U of O campus and downtown. The bed was very comfortable.
My room was very outdated and needed a remodel. The carpet was quite stained and needed to be replaced. The bath was gross. With the location comes quite a bit of road noise with made it hard for me to get a good nights rest. If you need a room for a night or two I think it is a good selection. If you are staying for multiple nights (like me) I would think twice.
This location is good for getting in and out of. There are quite a few things to do in the area which makes the location of Campus Inn perfect. The rooms are comfortable and give plenty room to spread out and get comfortable. The reception team is fantastic and very eager to please. This makes check in or asking any questions very easy.
If you desire a solid nights sleep, then this location lacks the solitude as trains blast their way across the city with horns blaring at 3:55 am and 4:22 am. ( This is beyond their control) Some of the carpets are heavily stained and need a good cleaning.
room had not been vacumned and chair look like it was never moved to be vacumned behind. When you see dirty carpet, you ask if the bed is clean!
