Convenient location Reasonable price
Not super friendly or welcoming.
water leaked into the closet of our room during a rain storm ,and got all of our baggage wet. the controls on the heating/ cooling unit were in the wrong positions to their markings and the help would not come to the room to help sort it out..The heat lamps in the bathroom were burnt out and we had to replace them ourselves...
Close to where we were celebrating Christmas. Wasn't crowded.
There weren't any towels in the room. It was hard to communicate with the desk person. I didn't know what time we had to check in by and when I called I didn't get any information from the hotel clerk.
Convent location to fair grounds for event we were attending, but next time will drive the 15 extra minutes to next town
Staff didn't read my request for a roll away cot, tried to argue about it, room was very small, we were left to figure out where to fit roll away. Very dirty beds, stained sheets, mattresses were all stained with blood, shower curtain rod was pulling away from wall, so curtain wouldn't stop water from splashing all over bathroom, breakfast was offered, but were told to take it back to our rooms, towels were stained
Location. That's it.
Very poor place to stay. The shower curtain rod was hanging off the sides of the wall so the curtain bunched in the middle, not able to close while showering. We told the staff and they told us to 'quit pulling on it then'. Bed was horrible, burn marks on the floor. Would NOT recommend.
The room was clean and spacious, like a mini suite.
The office when you checked in reeked of the smell of food being cooked or warmed. The smell clings tour hair and clothing.
Continental breakfast consisted of prewrapped scone and coffee. I asked to print something off in the lobby and the guy charged me a buck a page. I didn't expect free, but c'mon WiFi was horrendous
The beds had old thin sheets on them with hair balls. The box springs where stained and dirty. A train runs close to the motel at all hours. The amount charged for what we got was outrageous.
how close it was to other business'. we walked to the store and to our concert The Harefest. the owners were awesome! very polite!! the man was up very late making sure his guests had what they needed.
when we arrived to check in the couple ahead of me was having some sort of problem with their bill, but it was worked out. But took awhile.....also I noticed a sign on their counter that said my room was ten bucks cheaper than the price that booking.com gave me. :(
The location is the reason I stayed there. It is the only hotel in town.
The rooms were outdated. The bathrooms were not very clean. The hotel staff that I came in contact with were not friendly and argumentative with another guest that was checking in when I was checking in. The front desk area had a weird smell that was not very welcoming.
This was the only hotel/motel in Canby, where we had business
Location was good.
Beds definitely need to be updated.
The beds are old and stains on the box springs. We didn't want to know or see if the mattress were stained. But pretty sure they were. They looked like they are from the 60s
I was staying with noisy teens and they placed us considerately away from other guests we might have disturbed. Room was clean, beds comfortable, everything worked. Room even had a fridge and microwave.
I couldn't get the wifi to work, even though I had the password. Oh well, may have been my fault.
Close to town activities in Canby
Beds and pillows were comfortable.
Very poorly kept up. The box springs (I was afraid to look at the actual mattress!) looked stained and filthy, the bed linens were yellowed, several of the bath linens were badly stained and unravelled, the bathroom ceiling was so water-damaged that it was falling in and moldy, corners of the floor were black and gunky, sink had a considerable ring of mold around its inside upper edge. Where hooks to hang things in the bathroom once were, there were only holes in the door and wall. The few apparent repairs were sloppy. Very generally, the room was kind of clean, but there was a severe lack of attention to important details. The continental breakfast in the past couple of years had been so miserly and inadequate that we didn't even try it this year. To use their WiFi you have to ask for their password -- inconvenient.
Office - strong smell of curry. Free breakfast - no breakfast available even before the time limit.
Location - but it is the only hotel in town. There are no other choices in the town.
Didn't seem clean. Air cond. Does not work well. Staff is disorganized. Rooms need updating. Beds are uncomfortable. Poor value for a $100 room!
Train sounds in the middle of the night The stained bed Curry smelling coffee
The hotel is incredibly close to a very popular wedding venue, easy access on/off the hwy
The room was not ready at the 2 pm check in time. We had actually called the night before to inquire about early check in as we were attending a wedding down the road. Not only were they not ready, no one was in the lobby, when someone showed up it took half an hour to get the room ready. Very stressful for us, seeing as how we needed to get ready for the wedding. On a positive note, the gal housekeeper worked very hard to get the room ready.
