Rusty water in shower and dirty carpets. Grounds in poor shape

Nothing! The owner/front desk was horrible. I was over charged from what I was quoted online. And I was charged a deposit.

No amenities, no frills.

The desk and the chair were placed so close to the bed that I couldn't sit in. The washing basin was broken and no water came out. I was too tired to ask them to fix it.

The price was good for an overnight stay. Wi-fi was very good.

It was a very warm room, with no air conditioning or ventilation.

Convinient location. Free internet and one of the cheapest motels around the area. Would definitely stay there again and recommend Candle Bay Inn.

None. It's not a five star, full service hotel. So, don't have a high expectation...it's a good hotel for its price.

BEDBUGS. I would have liked this place except that it had BEDBUGS. So, I didn't like this place at all.

Room was dirty, used razor left in bathroom. Bed was worn, blankets had holes. Towels were dirty.

Too noisy as strip bar close by too noisy as planes land on airport close by too noisy as close to a road

Staff w3as quite friendly I left some medicine in the room and they said that they would send it to me at our destination.

I had called to check on resv and price. I could not understand him and he hung up on me. Very rude! On arrival he was rude again. Wouldn't let us pay with a different C.C. The room was smelly and Stains on floor and bedspread. We asked for a hair dryer and you would have thought we asked for one made of gold. He lied and said they didn't have any and then we said we called and he finally produced one. The other guests were loud into the night. It was a horrible experience! I will never stay there again and I will tell all 500 of my fb friends to not stay there either!

It appeared to be clean. New renovated as far as I could see. Considering it was near the airport reasonably quiet.

That there was an adult bookstore next to it. Not enough pillows or towels.

The room was clean but small. There is no air conditioning in the room. We were lucky that the weather was not hot. This is budget friendly but would not stay there again due to the AC.

I liked the service of the front desk if we needed anything we only had to ask once.

Really nice owner! Clean rooms with modern bathroom. By car only 2 minutes from city center Monterey.

The price was the ONLY thing we liked about this hotel.

The bathtub and sink took nearly 20 minutes to drain. The windows/window seals were filthy. The people in neighboring rooms played loud music until 4am...you'd think management would have said something but not the case. When we checked out, no one came to the desk when I rang the bell...so I had to leave the keys on the counter. This is a very run down hotel and I will not be back.
