It was available Pleasant staff
Pleasant room with everything we could wish for and the most helpful folder of local information - the best we found in our four weeks' travels, added to which we had a friendly welcome with helpful tips. We liked the fact that we were well off the road and had pleasant views.
We can't recall anything
The maintenance was lacking on curtain rails and out side chairs
value, location, staff
hard mattress, no coffee maker or iron bathroom repair
Many TV channels
Older Property! Smelled real musty but did not want to put heat on yet. Offered a space heater but I REFUSED. Said heat was on but the room was cold. Had to sleep with air freshener next to bed. Gross tub with mold, drain and tub surface disgusting and only cool water, no hot shower. Had an excuse for everything. Never stay there!!!!
Staff was very friendly, and place was easy to locate.
Had a musky smell to room and air conditioning did not cool room.
Good sized room, with table and two chairs, microwave. Hairdryer in bathroom. Pleasant helpful owners.
Pathetic shower. Bathroom, air con unit, cathode tube TV with purple pics all overdue for replacement.
The breakfast that was included was minimal. Stale cereal and bread/ English muffin to toast. I tried to take a shower three times and never got water above a tepid temperature. Very disappointing.
There was no Wi-Fi as advertised. Air conditioner was filthy.
the quick assistance when asked
Good location, clean, reasonable rate, friendly staff, excellent restaurant next to the motel
The curtains in the front window were very thin and didn't block much outside light. When I turned out the lights to sleep, the room was still so bright from the outside lights shining through the curtains I could see everything in the room. In addition, all of the rooms face east, so just after sunrise my room was fully lit by the sun shining through the curtains. I did not sleep well because the room was too bright for me and the morning sun woke me from the little sleep I was able to get much earlier than I wanted to get up.
The manager was friendly.
The room was dirty- layer of dust under bed, blind in bathroom was cruddy, and the room smelled .
The room was spacious and it was nice to have a couch as well as the table and chairs.
The bed was too hard. The refrigerator didn't work. All my food froze. The electrical for the A/C was on an extension cord and I had to choose between A/C or a refrigerator. The bathtub was ancient and all the finish was worn off. I didn't dare use it without putting something in it to stand on it looked so dirty.
The woman who checked is in took ten dollars off our entire stay when we confronted her about no pool facilities.
Inch thick dirt under the bed, musty smell in the entire place, continental breakfast consisted of a quarter filled gallon of milk and container of orange juice, two unidentifiable cereals in small glass jars, a jar of jelly and crock of margarine with a few English muffins.
Owner was very friendly on the phone and in person. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and both were decent sized.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The grips in the shower were peeling off. The faucet was either all force or a slow drip. The toilet had difficulty flushing. The towels were tiny and stiff. The room also had a slight musty smell to it. Breakfast consisted of English muffins and two choices of cereal--a little disappointing to not even have fruit or yogurt as an option.
Near an excellent restaurant. Clean linens
Warm water only - no hot water Plumbing problems with toilet. breakfast was very sparse.
location, price, staff willing to discount my room because of no pool. I felt welcomed.
pool was not open, leaked needed repair. could not get on wi/fi.breakfast was not good but to be fair,no place was breakfast good in the area.
Location was good - half way between Bennington and Manchester. Room was spacious.
No pool. We booked this property because of the pool, but when we got there - the pool was empty and looked like it had not been in use for quite some time. This property should not be advertised with pool. Breakfast was extremely sparse, (cereal or english muffin) there was hardly any juice and what little was left in the container, tasted like it had been there a very long time. Nothing seemed very fresh. There was not much hot water in the shower - took a very long time to get hot, and shower nozzle was "older than dirt " and had a very weak spray, which made it very difficult to rinse the soap out of my hair. Very uncomfortable beds and linens were poor quality.
The motel is dated, worn and tawdry. While not overly dirty, the musty smell is not tolerable for us, so it was uncomfortable to stay in the room. We left early, forfeiting one night's fee. The continental breakfast is minimal, cereal and toast the morning we were there.
The room was clean and comfortable and the host family was very pleasant and friendly. I would certainly stay again.
Seems to be some deferred maintenance that needs to be addressed. It doesn't necessarily bother me but some will judge and pass on staying or not provide a good review.
We liked the motel and the setting. The room was nice
The breakfast was bare minimal and just self-serve snack food.
Older motel no hot water
The nearness to our activities for the evening.
Breakfast was served too late to get on the road for an early start.
I liked that the room was very big!
I was upset because after booking a room with two beds they charged me extra per person for my 2 children upon arrival, which had not been notated on the booking.com site, and the sheets had blood spots on them which I found gross! In addition the wifi was spotty and kept disconnecting.
