Score from 79 reviews Very good
The room was nice and had everything we needed. I am a smoker, therefore, it was great to see that there are still some hotels that will allow people like me to stay at their hotel. Everything was great for us.
Really nothing. It was a good stay.
I liked the room comfortable good location no one disturbed my friends and I Great price
but I don't like that I wasn't told that I wasn't going to get the smoking room, which I reserved months in advance. If someone extended their stay in the smoking room I would've appreciated an alert. Not only that I got stuck with a handicap bathroom. It wasn't that big a deal but because I didn't get the smoking room it upset me even more. Room service didn't come either nights of my stay There was no tea...
This is the second time i stay over at the candlwood in braintree. Great staff with great service and the rooms are spacious and contain a kitchenette. Great value for money
Staff were responsive to our needs. Our first room had a broken A/C and we were switched immediately to a room that worked well. Staff were helpful on recommending sites for shopping, groceries and ways to get around on the T. having on site washers and dryers was a real plus.
The staff was very welcoming! I honestly felt like the most important person. Very clean, looked brand new. Rooms were very quiet and I never heard another guest.
Not a thing.
The choices of chairs, refrigerator, microwave
I did not like waking up every morning to person (s) above me walking hard, dropping things and moving things around. I requested front desk to talk to person. Msttets got worse. I would changed rooms, but after 2 nights, I wsd told person was leaving. That was not true.
I liked how friendly the stall and everyone was.
not having breakfast
Basically everything. Kind reception, equipment of the kitchen was ok (though we stayed only 2 nights and didn't use much of it). Large and comfy bed. No complaints on the cleanliness of the place. WiFi was well accessible. Groceries relatively nearby. 30 minutes to Boston downtown by car (Cheap parking underneath Boston Common on weekends). Possible to go for a day trip to Cape Cod.
We did not like flavor and intensity of the automatic air refreshers installed all over the place.
Room was big and comfy. It was quiet and the location is great with easy access to the interstate as well as Braintree. Staff was very friendly.
Housekeeping didn't come daily, so we had to track down clean towels every morning. This was difficult on a couple of days.
Closeness to all locations we had planned to go to. Excellent restaurants nearby. All in all a perfect place and would have no problem staying there again. Hotel staff couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful It was a truly wonderful experience and would definitely be worth repeating.
I had surgery while there which turned out to be more than planned and two women (a young lady with dark long hair and another lady with blonde hair-both white skin color)- went beyond the call of duty to make our stay pleasant-found me crutches, extended out check-out time due to plane change-they are both great assets to your hotel personnel.
As it's an extended stay hotel, there were several guests who were not "class acts" They took advantage of the pantry items without paying and just looked unclean.
Our first encounter with the staff was at the front desk when we were checking in. There were two people ahead of us, and two more behind us, and there was only one young man to take care of all of us. I must say that he was extraordinarily calm and attentive to each of us! We were very impressed with him. When we got to the room, we needed more pillows, and by the time we got back later that night, there they were (this is a request that seems to be difficult to fill for some hotels). The room itself was clean and comfortable, and I was thrilled to have a full-sized refrigerator.
The lobby needs updating. That's all--certainly nothing major!
excellent service and great rooms, the manager and staff were awesome. thank you
The staff was great, my room was clean and it was quiet.
The pillows are lumpy as in overused.
check-in staff friendly and helpful
had to wait for check-out, check-out staff not freindly
Staff was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Laundry facilities were great.
The woman at the front desk when we checked in was wonderful and very helpful. she was there the next day as well.
But on the second morning there was absolutely NO ONE on the front desk for at least a few hours. There was no coffee in the snack room and we needed towels. But there was no one to ask. Several people needed assistance and the phone was ringing constantly.
The rooms are spacious and well furnished.
The hotel floors are very dirty and in need of a good vacuuming. The elevators have a stuffy smell. There was no hair shampoo in the bathroom.
friendly staff that was informative. had plenty of brochures and coupons in front area of things to do. if your going for an event at the gilette stadium in Foxborough. its perfect! its 1/2 way in the middle of stadium and downtown Boston. It was perfect!
Clean room, comfortable bed.
We had a very loud refrigerator in the room. Journey to Boston takes about an hour and includes 15 min walk, bus and train ride.
Good stay where you want to cook for yourself.
The gym is very fonctional even if its small. The proximity with the subway ( 5 min with car). There is a 7$ parking near the hotel ( quincy adams station). You can't find a better price for want they offer.
I give a 5 on 10 for the cleanliness in our room. There is nothing around the hotel by walk (Grocery, restaurant)
Large clean rooms.
Only one person checking in
All facets very good. Excercise room, laundry, handicap bath facilities met my husbands needs perfectly.
We would have preferred a king size bed.
The staff was great. I send my hello to Kay and Jared. They do provide all the support you need. You feel as you were at home. They suggest places to go shopping for breakfast items nearby once it is an extended stay and there is no breakfast. Nevertheless, they offer free hot coffee and water. The room has everything you need. So, what you read in their site is indeed true. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. If you need a taxi, they will call for you. You can use the computer at the reception desk.
In fact, I liked everything. The only aspect that I did not like it is not their fault. It is because we did not rent a car, so we had to get off the train at Quincy Adams station and then get a taxi ( I would call every day) to drive us to the hotel. It is about U$ 10 dollars. The hotel is placed in a very calm street with small companies around though there are three other hotels nearby. But, there is no way to walk from the hotel to the train station, especially in the winter time. Furthermore, there are no fancy places to eat out nearby the hotel. So, you get ready to cook your own meal in your room. Oh, the hotel is pet-friendly... though I do not like dogs, they did not bother me at all.
