Friendly staff Good location
This is a very basic hotel no frills. I guess is a good value for the money.
I liked the fully equipment kitchen and a possibility to print some documents out for free at the lobby. Free wifi worked perfectly. And the location was great!
It was a little bit cold in the room in the middle of December
The kitchen facilities.Comfy bed. The location.
The fridge in my room need repairs. It gave out a disturbing whirring noise that spoiled a good night sleep.
A very comfortable bed & nice pillows; no interior noise from other guests; very helpful & friendly staff; very good location; plush towels; more than an adequate kitchen area, large safe; & the room was quite clean overall.
Vanessa the front desk clerk is wonderful, she goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable.
If you want service before the scheduled weekly cleaning it costs extra.
To purchase an item in the store (water), had to wait in registration line. Took 20 minutes. Need a more efficient method.
The available coffee in the lobby at all times
Only two plates and one steak knive in the kitchen. The kitchen is not fully equipped, it is nearly equipped.
overall great location
problems with elevators. out of service on two occasions while staying there. wait for the one elevator working was very long. only one elevator for a multistory hotel is not good.
Close to port authority and coach from Newark I liked that it was small and quiet and welcoming. The elevators worked efficiently which is not always the case with NY hotels. Felt comfortable there and even though I did not use the kitchen facilities I can see how they would work well if I had been there longer than two nights. Will use it again.
Not a very inviting street but close enough to Time Square not to matter.
The front desk staff were very friendly and made themselves available whenever called upon.
Although the hotel was located in a very busy area of Midtown, New York, the room was very quite. It is located within walking distance of Times Square, Central Park, etc. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
We stayed less than a week. Housekeeping only occurred weekly.
Daytime reception was nice.
Hotel was in disrepair. Hallways were shabby. Our room on the 7th floor had a kitchenette, but refrigerator was loud and missing feet, so just leaned against the wall. Heating unit blew alternatively HOT and COLD, so room was never comfortable. So bad on a cold winter night, that I walked 7 flights down to reception (the only elevator was out of service). We cut our stay short and found a much better hotel at the same price. We shared the story with a friend who had the same experience here. Unfortunately the Tripadvisor and Booking reviews are totally over-inflated for this place.
Special thanks to Vanessa (front desk). Very helpfull and kind.
Location is quick walk to Times Square. Easy walk to subway and located near ample restaurants
The studio is ideal and very cosy. The bed is extremely comfortable and felt very homely. The location is excellent and as a solo traveller, I felt safe and secure at all times during my stay. The staff were very sweet and polite and assured me to contact them if anything was needed.
Clean, rooms an ok size, helpful to an extent.
Valet parking and waiting for luggage sucked very slow. Location wasn't that great for the money paid, but at least it was clean. Side street sucked. Very cramped area.
Staff were helpful. I was only on the second floor but I had no noise from outside which is unusual for New York. The kitchen in the bedroom was a bonus, especially the popcorn in the microwave! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone
perfect location!! Few blocks from 42th street, times square and Penn St. Highly recommended! Staff very friendly, Vanessa and Karlos @the front desk!!
Great location midway between Times Square and the Javitz Convention Center.
The location is very good, close to times square and medison square garden. The room was big and comfortable. There are washing machines in the basement for free use of the guests.
Our room wasn't cleaned at all throughout our stay ( 3 nights ). The lady at the reception wasn't very nice. Most of the TV channels weren't working.
Location, facilities (free laundry facilities), staff (Katty very helpful), fast wiFi, price, checkout time 12pm (extended upon request)
Nice Staff, Clean Hotel, Comfortable Bed, Lots of Pillows,. Overall this place is an excellent place to stay for the money.
The elevator took a while as one was being fixed in the morning. They had no ice machines and I had to call for ice. I waited 20 minutes and still no ice so I called. The front desk appologized and told me the house staff was on a break. The heat would not turn off so I had to pull out the plug. The next time I used it the thermostat did work.
The room in big and well equips but there is no service absolutely no service. The room was not entered for a week by any stuff member. One out of two the elevators was working only part time (1/2-2/3). One of the two treadmills was out of service for the whole week. The complimentary coffee was one working 3/4 of the time
Proximity to Time Square for entertainment attractions and Port Authority for taking long-distance buses.
Lack of lounge.
I liked everything. The kitchen appliances were very big, could have been smaller but really, it was quite a pleasant stay.
Only 2 lifts for such a tall high rise and 1 of the lifts wasn't working. So only one lift for all those floors. The waiting was terrible. I was on the 15 floor and had a heavy case, otherwise I would have walked up.
