We had an amazing relaxing time! The staff was awesome! We will definitely be going back!
The cafe on the lower floor is a treat, managed by Pierre, who is truly French and eager to help us with recommendations for next year's trip to Paris. We love the Irish Cafe and Sleepy Monk Coffee, across the street.
The duplex receptacles were so loose our charging devices would not charge until I forced the tangs of the plugs wider. Bring a book light, if you want to read in the evening. Like most boutique hotels, lighting is only fair.
The beautiful Inn, the location to the beach and the shops, the wonderful breakfast and dinners in the CBH café, the warm inviting, comfy lobby.
The front desk staff could have been a bit more welcoming and engaging - even though they were working at their computers. Certainly fulfilled any needs we had though.
The cafe was excellent for breakfast and dinner - the bathroom was great - big tub was nice!
Mild street noise - 1st time going to the beach without an ocean-front view - kind of missed it.
Bed was too soft
Nearness of beach. Good walking distance from other restaurants
The location and the ambience of the hotel and restaurant. The staff was wonderful. I have wished to stay at this hotel in the past, so it was a treat to finally make it happen.
The shower head is too big for the smallness of the shower space. I love the idea of a rain shower, however, a smaller head would have worked better.
It's a lovely hotel, fairly old fashioned and the best breakfast on the Coast with lovely staff in the restaurant. We ate both dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was good also
For some reason, I thought this one is located on the beach or within sight of the beach and no such luck. the 4:00 pm rigid check in time is a bit annoying since everyone shows up at once.
The bed was very comfortable and we felt very rested. The breakfast and service in the Bistro was excellent.
The breakfast was great
No air conditioning
We had booked a room in the original hotel but were moved to the McBee cottages, part of the same group. Not to worry: we were given a charming studio apartment at the same price as our originally reserved room. Lovely garden in front, easy parking, one block walk to the beach. Breakfast is not included here. We had a choice of places with ocean views (but one could easily make breakfast in the kitchenette of the studio). We loved Cannon Beach and will return next summer.
Loved the location, the style of the hotel and the little restaurant. All of it was very pleasant.
Unfortunately, Our room was not very clean. The room needed a deep cleaning. obvious water damage on the ceiling. IE: Large stain around the base of the toilet that looked like number one. pocket door was full of dust. the lamp shades where also full of dust and had stains. the fan above the bed was full of heavy dust. the window has mold on it and the blind was worn and beaten. baseboards had not been touched. hand marks on glass and mirrors and I found THREE hairs in the bathroom upon entering. Not up to standard, very disappointing.Obviously the touch ups that should have occurred during the slow season did not happen and most likely now will not have time to happen. I cringe to think what the other more expensive rooms are like. glad I did not pay high season rates.
Kite flying was excellent!!
The hotel had the feel of an elegant B & B and it was. The room was small but very comfortable. The desk staff was very helpful in providing us insight as to "where to go and what to see". The fresh baked cookies were a must have treat. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty and nutritious.
Our circular shower took some getting used to.
Loved it. A special feel of vintage and brand new.
The bed was very comfortable, able to open windows, nice fire place. Attractive hotel.
The staff, especially the front desk was very officious and unwelcoming. We were warned not to lose our key or face $50 fine.
cozy inn atmosphere. lots of sweet treats.
breakfast - getting a toaster and leaving out some bread choices would be much better than soggy quiche (the same every day) and stale croissants. It's such a pretty cafe, the breakfast really needs to be improved, to fit in with the rest of the experience.
The room was AMAZING!!! Fireplace, comfortable, good accomodations and we both really enjoyed the shower.
The breakfast could have been a little more substantial. The price was a little high.
Check-in too late, should be at 1:00 PM instead of 3:00 PM
Staff was very friendly, restaurant manager was excellent. He treated everyone like family and went the extra mile to make sure your dining experience was a great one. Room was elegant but cozy.
Room temp was a bit stuffy and warm but room fan kept it comfy enough.
The cupcakes, coffee, cookies in the afternoon. The room was beautifully fitted and it was at the main entry point to Cannon Beach.
Nothing would stay there again.
Sea side environment. Shopping and sightseeing.
The breakfast was amazing and the location was great. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
The construction on the cannon beach hotel along with construction on a nearby hotel was loud and ugly.
Cannon Beach Hotel was a great place to stay. We enjoyed it. The room was superb. We would stay there again.
