Great place, friendly staff, very close to Grand Canyon
Hot tub was on main building and we were not. Should have asked about that when booking. We were looking forward yo using the hot tub
Loved the pillows
Balcony door was difficult to open/close. Room smelled of moth balls!
Hospitality staff rude and front desk staff didn't care ir smile. Our room was an absolute maze to get to your room.. Others were easier.. No plates, cutlery or bottle opener in room had to keep going down to front desk which wasn't easy to use the front desk mans persona bottle opener and to get some random mixed matched plates and cutlery. Everything else was fine but would of stayed somewhere else based on my experience
Location. Fifteen minutes drive to the visitors center parking lot. In Sophie's Mexican Kitchen, crossing the main road (five minutes walk) we had a great dinner, and in "Yippee" steakhouse, don't miss their margaritas!!!
All services around are expensive
Close to Grand Canyon National Park, close to restaurant and stores.
A bit tough to find. It is behind the national geographic store
close to the Canyon
Had to call three times to correct reservations and they were still wrong. System problems according to the desk staff Staff was unable to separate the bills for our party of 6 at the restaurant Lack of nutritious breakfast. The mixed fruit was sour. No food available without sugar and or wheat.
Location. Friendly, helpful staff
Great room, very spacious, clean, comfortable.
Hot tub was in a different building and weather was too cold to run between buildings
The staff was great
The dinner meal was terrible. I have never had prawns that I couldn't eat until now they were dried out and over cooked, my wife ordered the prime rib medium rare and she got it well done and instead of the au juse being in its own container it was poured onto the plate with the potato and veggies
The comfort and cleanliness of our room, and the friendliness of the staff. The peace of the balcony looking towards the trees for an early morning coffee in the sunshine.
The fact that the alarm had been left set and went off at midnight
Almost everything was great.
The food at the restaurant, was not good for the money. The buffet fruit was nasty ( not fresh at all) not many selections, does not accommodate vegetarians very well. The food over all just was not fresh tasting.
Was off the main road, which help it be quite in the evening and very relaxed. Also close enough to the Grand Canyon to be able to go back and forth very easily.
Fire sprinkler system was leaking in front of the elevator.
The room is clear, and the bed is big and comfortable. The facilities is good. And the location is very well.
It's not convient to have dinner or lunch.
We had a good nights rest after a hiking two days in the Grand Canyon. Friendly helpful staff.
Had a problem finding it, signage could be better. Everything else was fine.
The front desk staff was overly helpful, I was pleased with their knowledge of the area and restaurants. We also encountered the Bar Tender who was super friendly and also let us know a few of the "secret" attractions in the area. Make sure to try the Yippee-eey-yo (sp) steak house across the street, it's a really fun and one of a kind dinning experience with large portions.
Everything went smoothly
Staff very welcoming and attentive, didn't use the pool facilities but looked in good state of repair and clean and tidy. Restaurant was ok.Food good. Bar was in lovely setting and staff very helpful.
The room and general area looked a bit tired but was clean and comfortable. Bar closed at 2130, told it was due to approaching end of season but at least 16-20 people in bar and several other people entered bar area after final orders and were turned away.
Location was fine but price was too high and quality didn't meet my expectations. Room was clean enough, bathroom was in good condition.
Bed was hard, felt cheap, rooms with double beds are too old school when queens are the industry standard.
The village of Tusayan was interesting
Barking dog in next room was quite disturbing to us.
Bathroom facilities very tight. Buffet options are very limited.
The location minutes from the entrance to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon was a plus.
Enthusiastic greeting at check-in was overwhelming. Rooms open to courtyard atrium dining room which was noisy and busy parking lot area on other side. Standard "motel six". Air condition unit loud and dated. Decor needs update.
Very spacious room with extra sitting room/lounge
A little expensive for the location, might be worth comparing to the accomodation in the park (on the edge of the canyon!)
