It was close to the Grand Canyon you can get without being in the Grand Canyon. I can't complain about the check in service or the rooms.
The prices are outrageously, but I guess that's what you get at the Grand Canyon. The buffet breakfast was cold for being the first ones through, and we did have to pay for it.
We appreciated that the resort was pet friendly. The location was good. The Lobby was nice.
Extremely uncomfortable beds Outragously overpriced food Badly stained carpet in room Not as clean and kept up as it should be at this price.
Right outside Grand Canyon National Park
Old, smelly, thin walls
close to canyon
Not worth the money. Hotel is very old and outdated. Certainly didn't hold up the name of a resort.
indoor hot tub
no breakfast included
Location, staff, gift shop and buffet nice
Room balconies on the inside, old Tv, faucets leaking, facilities quite old.
everything else, it's old, dark in the rooms, definitely seems like it's out of the 70's. Way over-priced for the quality of stay.
Room is small. dark and dingy and in need of upgrade.
Excellent food in restaurant Spacious room, well appointed. Close to Grand Canyon and right next to a shuttle bus stop for the Canyon.
Ice machine didn't work Shower didn't drain very well.
Proximity to Gd Canyon
More a Motel style than an Hotel.
Close to the Grand Canyon.
High prices, cheap decor, overly soft beds, lack of amenities (fridge, coffee maker), slow wi-fi.
Concierge was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon. We took a side trip to see Hoover Dam and he gave us some great information about stops along the way. Other staff were very helpful and pleasant as well. Chose the hotel because of proximity to Grand Canyon. Overall, enjoyed our stay!
Service in the hotel's restaurant was not attentive. Minimal effort by staff. Meal was average.
Extremely helpful concierge who was a gem. Good buffet breakfast.
Pool on the small side.
Location near the grand canyon is great. Easy to access it and rather spacious rooms.
Staff was not very flexible. Rooms were dirty and one even stank. AC were loud and still not working well. Price is totally crazy in comparison to what you get.
The location was great. Right outside Grand canyon southern entrance and the hotel was comfortable with free wifi and big rooms
it was way too expensive for a three star. we paid over $250 for one night and the buffet on the site was over $20 for a limited selection of food.
Powerful shower, excellent design to the hotel, hot tub was very good and general comfort
On arrival, sign isn't clear as to the location of the hotel and the swimming pool was cold
Interior of rooms old and out dated.
Easy to find, very close to GC (5 miles) and much cheaper than staying in GC.
Perfect location for trip to Grand Canyon, only a few miles from the park but we felt it turned out better as there were shops and restaurants in close proximity that would not be in the park (we had a car so we could pop in for dusk, dawn etc, shuttle buses are not as freq so perhaps staying in the park is necessary then)
The south entry is less than a mile away, which is perfect for visiting the Canyon at different hours of the day. The rooms are large and clean and stay fresh (we were on the ground floor). The pool is a nice place to relax and refresh after hiking around of down the Canyon. The water is clean and well maintained.
The staff were disagreeable to say the least. Avoid the breakfast (go to RP's on the road).
Neat and clean Great location
Too expensive No breakfast
Poor cooling Dirty carpet Granddaughter cut foot with broken glass left in carpet Dead bolt lock did not work Poor tv reception No shampoo Dirty a/c filter Wore out furniture Most expensive motel / worst place we stayed at during our vacation Dirty elevator / hallways
no luggage carts. weird key cards mediocre food
