friendly staff (we had a problem with the heating and they solved it quickly even if it was late in the evening). room nice and clean. good location for the Grand Canyon NP.
a little too big and too "mass tourist" for my taste. the food is good but without personality.
Access to spa pool.
Meals could have been more imaginative. I had a salad which was basically a whole Iceberg lettuce.
It was the least expensive for the area. The room was clean. The morning desk manager found coffe before it should be expected.
I asked for a quiet area of the hotel and the check in girl put directly acrpss from the laundry room. People were in and out all evening and letting the doors slam. Not there fault they wanted to do laundry. The check in girl should have been aware of this location when issuing me the room. She spoke very broken English and possibly did not understand my request. Regardless it took well into the evening to settle down.
Thank you River..one of the best receptionist ever!
Close proximity to the Canyon. Helpful and courteous staff. Spacious room.
Difficult to adjust temp. in room . It was either too hot or too cold.
Good restaurant. Quiet situation. Close to Grand Canyon
Poor lighting in room, no natural daylight as very nice verandah faces into internal courtyard and brick wall!! Although good, restaurant over priced
Location, friendly staff, very simple but comfortable.
Convenience of everything in the village and the cheery helpfulness of the entire staff.
Age of furnishings in rooms.
Location was great. Staff was friendly.
Room was ok but there was trash on the patio. The bathroom is so small that the door hits the toilet when it opens halfway. Pillows are small.
Receptionist River was very nice & welcoming!
Very dark room , uncomfortable beds - irritatied housekeeping ( check out was at 11 and he started to knock on our door at 7.45)
The dinner buffet was excellent.
The hot tub was not hot enough or jetted enough.
The amenities within the room were sufficient. The room was very large and had an adjoining sitting area.
It was too far from the main lodge. Had the seasonal pool or jacuzzi been open, that would have been awesome.
Proximity to the Grand Canyon.
Lack of elevators. Seemed to be one for the entire half of the hotel we were on. The elevator was a bit run down and very noisy. Only one way up and down to get out of the hotel. As we were at the opposite end of the elevator, we had to go from one end of the hotel to the other and back. Only one ice machine in the entire facility! Interior hallway floors were cement. Only went to breakfast once in the hotel....food was mediocre and overpriced for what we got.
Ideal location for the grand canyon, and surrounding area, comfortable beds and clean room. Also the Buffets were varied and very good value for money. We would stay here again if in the area. The staff were also polite and friendly, special thanks to Roberto "Bob".thanks for everything.Trevor and Trish.from England.
10 minute drive from Grand Canyon so ideal place to stay. Lovely big room.
There's not to do in Tusayan, but it has some good stores.
Way overpriced, pool was closed and this place should not be called a resort. Staff were rude especially the concierge who was also condescending. Food was poor and the place was noisy. Rip off.
Location to the the entrance to the South Rim
Front desk staff was generally rude...I asked if they could print my boarding pass (which even Holiday Express does) and they said NO. The room was ok, but they didn't take the dirty coffee cups or empty the carafe, or give me new coffee packets. This is not a resort, it's a middle to low end hotel
The staff is amazing. My husband and I wondered if there is some sort of competition for friendliest staff member!
Rooms are a bit dated, and bathrooms are small, but everything is very clean.
Room was reasonably comfy.
No baggage carts near my wing. Was put in a room nearly a 1/4 milw from the desk.
near to canyon national park
1.too big to find room location 2.buffet is too expensive and not uneconomical 3.wifi is free and not easy to connect
Close to Grand Canyon park.
Furniture was outdated. The TV had poor reception on first 4 channels. Rest of channels very clear picture. I requested water from my waiter for breakfast. I was told I could get at glass of water at the buffet table. I feel that when I spend over $200.00 for a room that I should receive better service in the restaurant.
The reception staff was very good
We thought the resturant food was marginal at best. Our group of 7 all had the same opinion; the hamburgers were on the cool side, as well as the fries; the fried shrimp was dry and the pasta lacked flavour. Overall the resturant food could be rated at sub-standard, although none of us tried the buffet, which I can't comment upon. We left a note in our room concerning the vanity waters taps, as they were connected incorrectly, as hot water should be to the left not the right; the faucet in bathroom leaks and floor under the bed looked like they had been vacuumed in awhile as there was dust build up, and a empty water bottle.Lastly we went for a walk early in the morning, returning to the room(s) to find the staff had already stripped the beds and removed the towels, well before check out time
The location The room The lobby
The room was very comfortable, restaurant & service fantastic, lobby, gift shop area-beautiful. Convenient to IMAX theater & helpful pink jeep tours. !!
We were upgraded to a king suite for no extra charge. Very spacious.
The entry key did not work and our keys had to be replaced twice
