Friendly staff, brilliant location.
It would be better if breakfast was included.
no coffee or tea in the room no refrigerator pricey parking no free wifi ( wifi becoming free around the world, but these hotels still charge us.) everyone asking me if I was checking out because I was holding a small luggage.
location, cleanliness, the hilton feel, staff was nice---they upgraded me free, sent another room key to me pronto.
No hot water!!! Cheap ventilation squeaky bathroom floor, dirty towels, no soap
Location , good rates.
The staff who handled out Parking made us feel welcome from the very beginning and where very pleasant. Check in was okay as well. Less the lack of communication.
I was charged twice for a holding fee when I asked and was told there be none. The woman in accounting was cold and very unpleasant to speak with when I tried to get information in my account. Towards the end of our convo she became human but not someone I would like to speak with again.
Location, location, location. Friendly staff.
Little varied breakfests. Old carpets. Moisture smelt. Small window. Even southern room was dark.
Great location, and common areas are fairly nice.
The room was very run down, and not particularly clean. Sticky carpet, rusted fixtures in bathroom, prior guests' hairs in shower and feces marks in toilet. Hallways smell like smoke. $15 charge to use the gym. Room service fare was essentially unedible. Left a day early, and paid $220 to change flight, to avoid staying here another night.
The hotel was exceptional! They were both professional and personable. I don't know how much they paid, but they should serve as the example for other hotel staff.
Bathroom was very clean but a tad small. The buffet staff was friendly enough, but the food wasn't that great, especially for the price.
excellent at all !!
I never saw a coffee maker in reception only water (very rich!)
The location is good, quite close to the White House, as well as Farragut North metro station.
The curtains can not be shut in my room.
Professional service, polite, helpful. CLOSE TO metro, capitol buildings.
Location is great. But the fire engines and police cars are all the night on the beside street...
Facilities Quire low water pressure un bath room. The bath tab is small.
The first impression at the front desk was good but once I checked in ..The attitude was different.
Poor cleanliness especially at the restaurant and the executive lounge. One night i woke up thirsty at midnight, called the room service where the reply was very very harsh: "we never leave water in the room and our kitchen is closed at this time ". The breakfast at the longe is very poor and I really needed to be vigilant when taking any knife or fork because most of them were either damaged or diety. That was very bad . I would therefore never come back or recommend this hotel for any one.
The staff especially those that provides city guide, tours etc were just great. They cheerfully attended to my questions about tours and directions. I would like to come back with my family. Great location.
The room was large with a good TV and nicely equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. We probably could not have found a better location. It was convenient to everything.
Our hotel room did not live up to the typical Hilton standards. All furnishings need to be replaced, especially the mattress and box springs. The room was badly in need of an update.
Overall service was great. The Hilton Honors Club for breakfast was great. The major selling point is the amazing location of the hotel to key landmarks, like the White House, Smithsonian museums and others.
There is virtually no free wifi in this hotel. Don't know why, but it was frustrating to be paying every day for one day access.
The staff was very friendly. The receptionist, Isabella was perky and very helpful even though it was 3am. And our waiter at breakfast, Nancy was very attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was great. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The beds are comfortable. There's also a lot of street parking available.
The concierge doesn't really help you with your bags unless you request it. They could be a little more proactive upon arrival.
moved room on 14th within 2 hours of arriving because of loud ventilation vent outside was so loud No business lounge as advertised - only 4 PCs and printer in foyer Cleanliness of bedroom less than desired in 4* hotel Bland uninteresting Executive Lounge - felt like a café Dinner not always available in restaurant - only in bar Check out was 11am - not 12 noon as advertised, although I manged to get a late checkout
Close proximity to all the main DC attractions
Parking expensive; nearly charged full room rate for room and end of stay-had to dispute it with hotel staff
everything was just great will come back her again next year
the wifi was to high
