Im not one to comment on the conditions of hotels...but this hotel ranked as one of the worst I have stayed in. Initially my reservation didnt go through. then I called Customer service to have them refax the confirmation. Upon going into the room, My television did not work and the power button was missing. While troubleshooting with the televison, I discovered a few old dirty socks beside the dresser which had an odor to them. Staff had to retrieve a cable cord then program a remote control. While on the bed, one bed was off the headboard and boxspring, and the other bed was stained as if the bed was at least 8 years old. while using the restroom, there was no toilet paper. I again contacted the staff in which he told me there was no paper available at this time so he would search for some. After waiting 45 minutes for the toilet paper, I decided to go get some paper from the local store. I returned after 20 mins and staff still hasnt located any paper. Upon brushing my teeth, the sink was clogged after 5 secs of running water. The clog from the sink allowed gunk, hair, old food, etc to surface and float around the sink, making it a bit disgusting to brush your teeth with a visual of essentially a garbage disposals garbage. Was in a suite with no cups silverware, pots pans, etc. No trash can in the room and the bed covers looked about as old as the bed or older. I have been in an estimate of about 200 hotels in my life and this has been one of my worst experiences ever.
I enjoyed the staff on duty that day who went or attempted to go above and beyond to help assist me with services and needed items. It appears that this guy needs a better hotel to conduct business because his professionalism was bar none but was just in the wrong situation for employment. I commended the hotel staff for being the only positive light to my experience.
