Like all larger cities, neighborhood is kinda run down. Not motels fault.
Affordable, everything u need w/o being over priced.
It's on the very edge what what I consider decent Kansas City. One step in the wrong direction and you're in the ghetto.
It was cheap and close to where we wanted to be for New Year's Eve.
No visitor policy
The area was kinda sketchy, lots of homeless camps around.
The hotel staff was amazing and helped everyday possible
Short drive to downtown, near the friends I was visiting.
Room was nice and clean.
area wasnt the best, but saying that, i never had any trouble
bed was comfy shower was really nice wifi was good
The surrounding area was a little "sketchy." At first it was difficult to drift off to sleep for all the sirens. It finally settled down. Over all, don't let the appearance be deceiving; it's a nice hotel.
This was a great hotel for the price. The amenities were adequate and the room was clean and comfortable.
Walkway on upper level looked very dangerous. It was leaning and made me nervous to be on it. Room was very run down and the neighborhood was very seedy.
Check in was easy. The room was as requested. The towels are great here.
we like it in all respect.
Plumbing needs work, very old and a bit run down, neighborhood isn't the greatest
Price was nice, clean room, close to downtown
The location is not the best. It is situated in a dangerous neighborhood. If you are using your car and not alone it's okay. If you are just girls don't go. If you don't have a car don't go. You don't want to use the bus or to walk because it is unsafe.
The price was okay comparing to other places near downtown.
Not a good neighborhood. Room n bathroom had this piss smell. Wifi connection was very weak.
Room was neat and bathroom was clean. Close to downtown KC and local bus commute.
The room was simple but clean and quiet. A great value for the money and less than 2 miles from the downtown venue I came to Kansas City for. I will try to book a room here for the NFL game I am coming to see in November.
Excellent and helpful staff. Facility old, run down and bad neighborhood.
When we first arrived, we were lift off the bedspread and lifted the mattress, and a bug fell to the floor which I stepped on and killed. Found another dead bug on the nightstand, between the phone and the lamp. Made me paranoid to even go to bed. Also, power switches above bed were nasty. Seems like simple things could be done to make the room cleaner. The bugs were a BIG factor.
We liked the convenience of the motel being in close proximity to downtown Kansas City, which was where we needed to be. The shower was nice.
Dodgy area punctuated by regular sirens blaring past our window at night, felt unsafe even walking around in the daylight, too far from anything worth mentioning, too close to everything unmentionable.
Friendly and welcoming staff.
The WiFi reception was so bad I had to stand in front of the office with my iPad to get internet and e-mail. The place is kind of a dump.
The property is past needing an update it needs a bulldozer. Needs an american owner
The property is past needing an update it needs a bulldozer
The wi-fi is terrible and the room are not really clean
The price and staff were really good
A little noisy do close to trucks freeway
Simple decor nice soft sheets big tv big king size bed
Super ghetto. Bad area. Bad smells.
Odd policy of no guests in room. Office is a small room with a guy behind bulletproof glass. May not be in the greatest neighborhood as it isn't inside the downtown loop. No non-room amenities besides wifi and maybe laundry.
Cheap, simple, and clean. I had an event in downtown and this offerred walkable or a very short taxi ride to downtown. Great as a place to just sleep.
Wifi not working in many areas. Room was not clean and poor air conditioning.
Good value of money. But you should really control your expectations. Very simple and moderate hotel.
