The hotel was very clean and the staff was so friendly and took great care of the guests.

The location was perfect and it was quiet.

The rooms are clean but dated. There is no housekeeping on Sun.

Locaation on beach, great. New bathroom tile.

Badly in need of renovations. Bathroom door paint peeling, rusty hinges. furnishings all scratched and showing age. hot water pressure poor. Staff did replace shower head and that helped but still low pressure. had to have hot water on full with no cold at all.

We like the atmosphere and the view over the sea. The staff is so friendly and make you feel like a familymember.

closeness to beach and restaurants

I liked the friendly personnel and willing to do anything to make your stay more comfortable. I liked the front desk woman from the Ukraine, Bruce the manager and our housekeeper from Lthuainia. It was safe, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the Fort Lauderdale area. We will defintely come back and stay The Gregorys Jim, Kelly and Mia

Size of room, fact ref did not get cold, room a/c did not work properly, electric outlet in bath did not work, lighting in room and bath was poor.

musty smelling room, a/c not working up to par (set at 64 never got cold in the room), had coffee maker but no coffee or condiments

This was my second visit. Once again the management and staff were lovely. The hotel has a really nice patio area around the pool and also has a BBQ. It is right on the beach and the pier and local restaurants/shops are a 5 to 10 minute stroll away. The room comes with a large bed, fridge, freezer, microwave and coffee making machine. Two minutes walk from the hotel is a Publix and CVS along with a few restaurants. I could not recommend Captain's Quarters more highly.

We wanted to stay right on the beach and our room overlooked the beach. The staff was very accommodating by giving us two adjoining rooms which made life easier with two young children and four adults. The pool was fine and the beach lovely. Perfect weather helped of course. It was a pleasant walk to the restaurants and very close to the super market.

The gas grill was a little slow - not what we were used to but it did the job satisfactorily.

Is a very familiar and confi hotel, rooms are so comfortable for a family. I highly recommend if you want to expend some time with family and friends, and the coffee is excelent.

Waterfront motel with nice beach, pool, courtyard, seating, and landscaping. Good pricing, close to everything

Courtyard constantly smokey, as guests were allowed to smoke in courtyard and around the pool. Extremely unpleasant for us.

Nice Pool. Room was very clean.

Didn't like it that there was no coffee packets in the room even tho there was a coffee pot. There was no electric outlet next to beds. Could not use c-pap machine for sleep apnea.

The location of Captain's Quarters Resort is excellent. The owners and staff are wonderful people who are very knowledgable about the area, things to do, etc. This resort is comfortable and like home!

I liked that it was clean and situated on the beach, close to some excellent restaurants.

Our stay was very nice, very friendly place, met a wonderful bunch if people there hope we time our next visit there the same time as them again! Staff very helpful (kim) very helpful also.......... Would be nice to have music by the pool, and change bedding every day instead if ever third day and also put fan in bathroom........................... Air conditioning works very well but just in bathroom it gets to humid!

Fantastiskt läge direkt på stranden. Vänlig och tillmötesgående personal.

Hotellet ger ett lite bedagat och slitet intryck men detta väges lätt upp av läget. Den s k frukosten bestod endast av wienerbröd, muffins och kaffe/te.

La ubicacion frente a playa, en la playa. Un hotel muy limpio, con un ambiente playero para los que no queremos ruido de veinteañeros. El diseño del edificio, el lobby y el resto del edificio, te transporta a mis años de infancia cuando venia con mi papa, pero todo con las ventajas de lo mederno altamenete recomendado. El señor que hace de gerente de turno es un activo para esta empresa. Muy agradable y atento. L y el cafe es muuuuuuy bueno.

Lo unico que podria mejorar seria el desayuno. No hay opción para los que no queremos tanto dulce. Y debiera servirse un poco mas temprano. A las 8 am es algo tarde para los que nos gusta el cafe temprano.

Es divina la ubicación y las condiciones del establecimiento estan adecuadas al precio. Muy recomendable y familiar.

La limpieza de la habitación podria mejorarse. El desayuno también podria tener el cafe más caliente y los pasteles que ofrecen no estar congelados.

Direkt am Atlantik und am breiten Sandstrand gelegen,ist die Lage dieses 1 Stern Motels fantastisch. Die Außenanlage mit Pool ist sehr gemütlich und auch mit ausreichend kostenlosen Schirmen, Liegen und Stühlen ausgestattet.

Die Zimmer bzw.Studios waren das Schäbigste was wir auf unserer USA Reise gesehen haben. Jetzt wissen wir auch, warum dieses Motel was sich Hotel nennt, keine Buchungsstornierungen zulässt. Wir wären sofort weggelaufen. Beim Öffnen der undichten Zimmertür wurden wir von einer ratternden Klimaanlage und einem beißenden Uringestank begrüßt. Neben dem Modergestank. Ohne weitere Inspektion dieses Raumes, der Gestank war ausreichend, baten wir die Dame von der Rezeption um ein anderes und geruchsfreies Zimmer. Dieses hätten wir auch bekommen. aber ohne vorherige Besichtigung,welche kategorisch abgelehnt wurde! Also mussten wir in der stinkenden Kammer bleiben. Doch es kam noch schlimmer. Beide Betten waren mit schmutziger und mit fremden Haaren übersäter Bettwäsche bezogen. Die Überdecken (riesige Steppbetten) waren voll mit undefinierbaren Flecken . Wiederum mussten wir das Personal bemühen welches dann die komplette Wäsche, welche meiner Meinung nach vom Vorgänger stammte austauschte. Trotzdem kauften wir eigen Decken. Der beißende Gestank wurde mit einem "Luftverbesserungsspray" begründet. Deshalb versuchte eine Reinigungskraft, mit einem nassen Lappen,ohne Eimer, den Fußboden zu wischen!!! Leider waren auch die Sessel mit ekligen Flecken übersät. Diese Manko konnten wir mittels großer Plastiktüten mit denen wir die Sessel bedeckten, beheben. Die vergammelten Möbel mit klemmenden Schubladen waren wahrscheinlich schon 20 Jahre ohne Wartung in Gebrauch. Natürlich gab es im "Schlafraum" auch keine Lichtschalter oder Deckenlampen. Aber es gab einen "Safe"! Es war zwar nur die Minibar mit Schloss, aber immerhin. Nur im Kochbereich gab es Lichtschalter,auch für den Waschraum. Dort befindet sich auch der einzige und kleine "Kleiderschrank". In Europa nennt man so etwas Besenschrank. Im "Schlafraum"gabs noch 3 Schubladen. Weiterhin gab es Mikrowelle, Minibackofen, Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine. Auch einige Küchenschränke mit Geschirr gab.
