Great location. Could have been a picture postcard.
Everythings are great!!
That doesnt have a closet.
the resort has good luxury
the staff never clean my room
I liked the location of the resort from the beach.
The rooms needed updating but sufficient for our vacation needs. The room got hot and then cold. Didn't sleep well on the lumpy bed.
Close to the beach . Wi-FI was excellent.
Even thought we stayed 2 nights never got maid service, even after leaving the hanging tag on the door.
My husband and I had a great sleep at this hotel and it's only a five minute walk to the beach! Very clean and spacious. no complaints!
The location was perfect..... short walk to beautiful beach. The rooms were clean, a little out dated but not bad. Overall I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of the rooms and the location.
Shower heads too low in both bathrooms.
The price for the location during peak season was very good, the facility was clean&well furnished for small unit to include a full kitchen. Nice grounds and easy access to beach but this group of rooms are some of the farthest from the beach. They call it a resort, but it is a group of differently named units sharing grounds of a condo complex of which the condos are on the beach and units are behind. Very well maintained grounds with lush landscaping. Nice TV, and large couch. Bedding comfortable. We did not use pull out. Reasonable priced umbrellas and lounge chairs available $22. full day. Beach attendant for rentals very polite as were all employees at Captiva.
The Captiva unit 26 we stayed in did not get room service due to a tag on the door that was missing from our room. We did not realize that had to be placed on the door to notify room could be serviced. They readily handed out new towels when asked. Never could find ice machine, or use shuffle board equipment that belongs to condo owners. Our unit also needed some baseboard replacement in bathroom beside tub that was evidently missing for some time. Some of the beach towels need replacing but they freely handed them out.
I liked how the room felt nice like home. Private beach access
A little bit of a walk to the beach, the pool is shared by four resorts and is a little mis leading at booking time.
Room was well appointed and comfortable. Had the coolest faucet in bathroom and colorful lights in kitchen. Truly enjoyed my stay and ran into Charlie Crist who was staying there also.
Pleasant staff and simple check-in. Kitchen provided adequate solution to going out for every meal or need.
Parking was somewhat limited.
Convenient location close to beach. Nice, quiet and clean.
Very small shower space.
picture on line did not show where we stayed. aiso room very small. we left a day early, and we were not asked why at checkout,we had drunk peo[ple wandering around in the late night hours.
It was close to the Ocean. a fisherman's paradise, nice price for the value, much better than Myrtle beach by far, traffic better, white sand, clean Ocean, less people, family oriented, beautiful scenery, relaxing, nice people, not much bad attitudes...
The parking lot was bad at Captiva, had to revers the car in the parking lot, the house keeping wasn't that good, I had to clean up for my self for 6 days out of 8 days, Maid service needs help !!! With Dollar rent a car, they need to give you 2 separate keys instead of 2 keys on one chain. Only a moron can come up with that ideal, maybe a gimmick to make money on people...DA!!!!
I would love to go again next year please respond
Everything was good
The rooms were very clean and had everything you might need, new appliances and looked to be recently redone. The staff was friendly. Great value!
Tiny little bathroom. It was very clean but tiny but we will stay there again.
Located very close to the beach. Big room. Quiet hotel in the night. Beds very comfortable. AC working very well without noice.
Not much for the kids to play with. Personnel not so very helpful.
Very nice and Newly renovated
Location was excellent for the beach
the pool was being refurbished and was not available
Great option for the family or group of friends. Room with the kitchen, short and pleasant walk to beach, nice inside court with green grass and grill. The kitchen was very well equipped. Thank you for making our stay in hotel such a wonderful part of our vacation.
The rooms were clean. The bed was comfortable.
Cleaning staff seemed over worked. We were told we could check in early over the phone, when we arrived we were unable to get in our room later than 3:00 check in. We went to the beach and were asked to move 3 times! We would never stay there again,
Pleasantly surprised at the size of the unit which had two separate bedrooms and had a pull out couch to sleep 2 more. Very clean and tastefully decorated.
Had to walk a little bit to get to the beach but wasn't terribly long. Actually shorter than going to the public beach from the parking lot.
The place and beach are beautiful.
I paid a reservation for two-bedroom suite for 3 nights, and they didn't have it available. They offered me two single rooms.
I feel that the hotel location was misrepresented. Stated they have waterfront views which I was told quite abruptly by the girl at the desk they do not. Also the short walk to the beach is not so short a walk for some people. The pool is a shared pool with lots of hotels in the horse shoe group of them. The room we got was supposed to have a sofa bed and separate kitchenette it did not. I will say the kitchen was well stocked that much I was grateful for. I also did like the grills availability, that was nice and we did use them. This isn't a bad place just not what I expected when I booked.
No beachfront, I never book anything but beachfront. I didn't like the young lady who told us we didn't have a reservation when I had booked weeks in advance. She told me well if you want beachfront the Hyatt is right there, she acted like I was a snob or too high and mighty but all I wanted was what was represented when I booked.
Nice place with everything are close!
