We liked everything.
It was great to have a multi-0ro suite with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bath.
As with an older building, there are some loose boards and things like that. Don't come here if you have to have everything perfect. It is beautiful and classically decorated. I would stay here again.
we stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and it was fabulous! The location and distance to everything was perfect. The staff, especially Cristine, were so kind and pleasant. We will return!
Jacuzzi in operable, microwave had no plate, coffee pot had no basket for grounds, nice tub, no way to plug it up for a soak. Need more beach umbrellas that work and can be easily carried
In general nicely appointed room and common areas. Great to have elevator. Jason was very helpful in stopping the basketball game in the 3rd floor living room over our heads at 8pm!
Unbelievably rude staff
Great lively location
Difficulty finding office [came in at dusk] and parking not obvious. Large, poorly equipped kitchen [only 1 plate, for ex.] despite top of line appliances. Dim atmosphere due to many blown bulbs. Whole setting seemed a bit shopworn for a boutique B & B.
Space and quiet despite being in a center of social activity for Captiva during the peak spring break period in March, mid-week.
Location. Staff House
Been going to Captiva for years and never realized what a great accommodation this was. Excellent room and furnishings and free breakfast was a treat. Of course the location can't be beat.
The kitchen was a joke: microwave does not work. There weren't any decent pot and pans. There is live music at night, so if you want to go to sleep early you'll have to wait. We got a room right on the main street, so it was really bright at night. The curtain do not block out the street light. The sofa is very old. It hurts your back after sitting there even for a short time.
It is very spacious. It include a very nice breakfast. There is live music at night, so it's great if you are young and want to party!
It's conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, musical entertainment, shops and the beach. The breakfast at R.C. Otter was very good. The furnishings were very nice and welcoming.
Locations with nice breakfast
The room and bathroom were pretty well cleaned but did see lots of dust on shutters and furniture. TV's need a little upgrading and channel guide needs to be provided
Very close to beach, great resturant next door and close by. The food at Key Lime Bistro was excellent , had dinner and breakfast there.Accommodations were beautiful even without the view of the ocean. Very quiet Inn and relaxing!
I LOVED BEING SO CLOSE TO THE BEACH AND ALL THE NICE RESTAURANTS.
We loved our stay here, the cottage is very cosy. Location is great and so was our dinner & breakfast at Keylime Bistro.
Terrible bed, too soft
Nice location, close to beach and restaurants
It was first floor and the car was right out the door, a short walk to stores, and many good eating places. The decorations were very beachy-just the way it should have been. Breakfast was wonderful. Will go back.
WiFi only available at office.
The location. The accommodation was so different with shared kitchen, lounge etc. Good food (off site, but next door).
no water views from room.
Location and quirkiness.Very accommodating reception stafff
very dim lighting.
location near beach, large cottage, near restaurants.
Noise - room had a communication door with another room. We could even hear our neighbours switch on the light. Their TV was torture! Bathroom fittings a bit tired and pool too cold to use
Location, friendly staff, charming room, good breakfast.
Billed rack rate, no acknowledgement of booking thru "Booking.com"., no receipt given at check out. Had to call for adjustment.
Great location. Only a 2 minute walk to beach. Facility very clean.
The island is a little expensive, so come prepared to spend, but you get what you pay for. A little bit of a drive to the outlets and anything off the island, but like I stated, the speed limit is 30-35 on the entire island, and it's $6 everything you come back on the island. There might be a way around that though, I'm not really sure.
Walking distance from the beach with plenty of restaurants and places to rent things for beach activities, jet ski, parasailing, kayaking. This is not a place to come party, this is definitely a place to come and relax, which is what me and my wife loved about it. Restaurants close around 10 but there is always live music, excellent food and arelaxed atmosphere. They included breakfast for the days that you are there, not your typical breakfast like most hotels. This is full restaurant breakfast, amazing! If you want to go out shopping there are a couple of outlets off of the island. Everything off the island is about a 30 minute to hour drive, but that's because the speed limit on the island is about 30-35 mph. This was an awesome getaway, and while the island is a little expensive, I can honestly say that you get what you pay for.
fourth stay at this inn, each time im more and more pleased with my choice to stay at captia inn.
No Ice Machine
Everything from the staff to the pool was fabulous. I dont recommend Jasmine (one room cottage)i was there briefly. I stayed in Orchid w/no complaints. The Free Breakfast at either RC Otters or Keylime Bistro was Excellent.
