Score from 35 reviews Very good
An affordable place to stay.
The hotel is run-down. Repairs and renovations are shoddy and cheap. The WI-Fi did not work. There is a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee.
The bed was nice and comfortable
The location, shower was small and very low water pressure. Bathroom lights were on a timer instead of a regular switch
Well placed near inner ring road and facilities. Reception staff very helpful.
Adjusting the shower to the correct heat was difficult
Clean, staff friendly
Old, cramped room
Room was clean.
There was no breakfast. They only had coffee, milk, and very little cheap cereal.
Great location for a overnight stay for a football game or the rodeo. Wataburger is next door and open all night. We slept in till almost checkout so can't say about the kitchen but a overall nice stay.
The mattress is VERY outdated. Could use new mattresses.
better than most for breakfast choices.
toilets are great for kids [smallest I've ever seen], we had people in the next room that sounded like an "r" rated movie [thin walls]
Location to NRG Stadium was great. Several restaurants/fast food places close by. Beds were clean but the rest of the place, including lobby and eating area were old and dirty looking.
Hotel is dirty on the outside and dirty on the inside. Bathroom door didn't close neither did exterior door. Had to fight to get it to shut and lock. Everything was old (decorations, carpet, furniture). Beds were clean but that was it. Won't stay here again. Not worth the $70 that I paid.
The staff was very welcoming & helpful. Parking directly outside our room was a big plus for us. Fridge/microwave worked well, clean & homey. Great tv, comfortable beds.
No bathtub plug. This is a common issue in many motels in the area.
beds staff kitchen helpfulness of staff and transportation proximity to MD Anderson Center
cable tv (barely any channels) wifi (very slow, hard to connect and use) bath breakfast
Location was good
Floor was dirty there was hair found on linens tub was peeling breakfast could have been better beds were very uncomfortable
I got my money refunded.
Bed bugs!!! The shower was black, dirty black. The rooms phone was with no cables, had to use my phone to call reception. No smoke alarm only hanging cables. Roaches where everywhere. I had huge bed bugs all over my bed, and when I told receptionist Jenn she could care less, she was really rude, I was charged a $10 penalty for cancelling my second night, I accepted because I was not going to stay there! Breakfast is awful too!!
The room itself was a great value for the money, very clean and comfortable. Really appreciate the fact that they allow pets, which was the reason for our visit of the area.
The area was a little shady, questionable characters walking around randomly through the night. The towels were rough, not a big deal really since I usually travel with my own.
Stuffs are great, very convenient location, very comfortable
The worst wifi ever
Not the best neighborhood. Place could use upkeep and updating
Refrigerator inside room did not work. The waffle maker did not work. Room key deactivated before the check out time.
I wanteded to refund, but they refused it with unpleasant claims...Terrible.....
Rooms look nothing like the photos online. One might think they have an hourly rate. I smelled bleach when I walked in the room which was reassuring to me; however its bathroom was horrible! It was quiet, and cheap. If your low on cash and can't do better I suggest this spot but please don't be deceived by those online photos. You truly get what you pay for.
I had to change rooms 2 times because of the noise and one room had bad a/c so I was not happy about this
The rooms had a funny smell
-price. -Near from a number of resturants driving.
Bugs and mosquitos everywhere!
The desk clerk was very helpful.
Old, dirty and generally not a place to bring the family. Had a very seedy feel outside and in the rooms. A no-go motel for me.
The location. The traffic is a bit intimidating, but once you're on Main Street, it's a straight shot to the Medical Center. It's also very easy to get to the museums.
I had to return to the front desk three times before getting a room. The first time, the door wouldn't open; perhaps someone was already in that room. Second, no air conditioning. Third, I stayed, but in the morning, the water in the shower was so brown I was unable to bathe before seeing my oncologist.
ease of booking, staff, location, and cost
cleanliness of rooms 119 & 126. stayed two nights in each room so not sure which room was infested, but when I returned home my arm was itching. My arm was covered with bites and confirmed to be bed bug bites. Since I am taking treatment at MD Anderson I can't afford to get any type of infection. Therefore, will not be returning there.
The rate, and cleanliness
No phone, no alarm,
