Score from 218 reviews Fabulous
Great choice of fantastic pools. Few people around - almost had the place to ourselves. Lake and sea front location. Fabulous beach.
No Wifi in rooms (but could be used in lobby) No oven - only a microwave Noise from highway at night
Pools were great!
Elevator was very slow & very hot!
The Gulf of Mexico. Warm weather. And time with family.
Lack of a timely response from MANAGEMENT/staff with a "false" fire alarm. People (including at least one infant) waited in the parking lot for more than two hours. The Panama City Beach Fire Department seemed miffed by the event/management as well.
Someone opened our door with a key card without knocking or announcing their presence. It was uncomfortable to say the least. After that, we kept the dead bolt lock on for privacy. I attempted to contact the manager on duty and was offered his email address. After an unpleasant conversation with the front desk, I was told the manager would call. I was never able to speak to the manager.
I enjoyed the safe, family environment and the friendly staff.
I did not like the hike over to the beach from the inn. We did take advantage of the shuttle when available. We called to rent a golf cart, but never heard back from the company. That would be the only reason I would not stay here again.
Access to gulf and beach. Diner and bar. Shops were nice addition also.
Wet carpet in room near kitchen bar.
Loved the room.
Taxes added on. Town center was vacant. They need more small businesses in there.
We loved the amenities and the location
We wish the shower would have been a little larger.
I loved everything about this resort. We stayed 3 days and didn't have to leave off the resort at all.
The only thing I didn't like was how sensitive the key is. I didn't like having to make sure my phone or credit card was no were near the key or else I would be lock out of the condo during after hours when the office is closed.
Very nice resort for booking just one needed night.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great location overlooking the lake, which has a lot of natural wildlife.
No Wifi in the rooms.
Staff was very friendly. Location was prime. Excellent value!
loved that was a bit off the hotel strip bottleneck, and a bit quieter, yet on a beautiful stretch of beach.
Wish the hotel was on the beach. The lake was OK, but coming from the Canadian prairies, we wanted the beach view, and the ads we read were a bit deceptive about the location.
Comfortable bed. Surrounding amenities were nice.
Room lay out was awful. When you walk in, you're in the bedroom. Living area/kitchen is in the back. Awkward when friends came over. Carpet fairly dirty
Since it was Harley Week, our resort was in the perfect location to avoid the noise from the motorcycles. The scenery was also very beautiful. The walk to the beach wasn't too far, either.
I wish there were a place to buy sundries on location…like fruit, milk, bread, water, etc. I realize the location is close to a CVS and a grocery store, but it just would have been more convenient to run downstairs to get those kinds of snacks for the room. Otherwise, excellent visit!
I like the location. The pool was great. The grounds are very nice.
The people at the front desk were not very helpful. Would just look at you as though they were clueless. The hot tub was dirty and low on water, told them about it and they did nothing. It stayed that way all week/(thats pretty bad) The girls at the desk need to step it up. Or maybe they just need to be better staffed. The room was nice however did not get the feeling it was overly clean.
The facilities was very nice.
Bad area for cell phone. Needs improvment.
relaxing, loved the restaurants and shops
fold out couch bed was very uncomfortable, u could feel every spring in it, we asked for something to put over it to help make them bearable and all was given was a blanket
Location and amenities... pool, lake, restaurants, shops, beach access
The bed was too close to the front door. Furthermore, blackout curtains are needed the in window by bed because of lights at night and street noise from Hwy. Also, there were hairs in the "clean" towels.
Staff and Location
Your ad stated, Wi Fi which is NOT available in the rooms, and Beach Chairs and Unbrellas are not included which was also stated in the Ad too.
Location, family atmosphere and beaches were beautiful. Organic restaurant in the village was very good. We attended a family wedding there and it was beautiful. It had many outside venues that prepared the event.
Our room was not available until 4pm even though I requested through Bookings.com that we needed a 2pm arrival and called the resort on Thursday prior to our arrival to ask for that. They said they would try to make that work. EVERYONE else that came in when we did was allowed to check in when they arrived staring at 1pm. I do not think anyone else used Booking.com, so I believe they held our room, gave us the most shabby room (carpet was gross). If they cannot be accommodating to this websites customers, they do not need to offer the facilities. We were there less than 24 hours, so cannot comment on any other areas.
Room had two tv's with real cable/sat tv channels. Comfortable bed Furnished kitchenette Access to pools, hot tubs, and beach Not a place for "spring breakers" Resort is part of upscale housing community so it has a few nice shops/cafes
Lobby is closed at 8 PM or earlier so if you have a problem you have to find the right number to call. There are several depending on how you made your reservation. The key cards are too sensitive to interference. We were told to be careful. We didn't have a problem but we had to call to help another guest get assistance when they were locked out of their room when their key card didn't work. Over the phone we were given access to a master key and trusted to put it back. The cell service is spotty around the main hotel area. In the foyer we may or may not get a signal. In our room we could make calls in one side but not another.
All the activities and the location
Seemed like the staff was all new, no one knew anything.
I really thought the location was spot on...it was minutes from Pier Park which is growing everyday. The traffic near the resort wasn't crazy easy in/out. The rooms were really nice, enough space for the two of us. Clean for the most part.
I didn't like that it was spider webs outside the room...they need to power was the outside of the rooms like in front of the doors. Also I didn't like that with your stay it only ONE person could go to the gym, if it was a couple then the other person had to pay for it. And lastly the WiFi was down...which was crazy.
It was a quiet, beautiful place to spend spring break! Staff was very helpful. Beaches, wonderful and quiet with few people.
