Room was great, disappointed with " gulf view" .... It was visible over the tops of the houses ! Housekeepers were very helpful/friendly! They seemed irritated we booked through "Booking.com"
Although our pet was noted in reservation we were charged $75 extra as if they didn't know ahead and nothing was noted there would be an extra charge! The only "restaurant/bar" open closed on Sunday and didn't open again during our stay, no shuttle available to beach because golf cart was broke down! Desk Staff not very knowledgable or helpful regarding area. Resort not set up for "winter" guests! Coffee/Internet Cafe never open during stay either
Thought it had more of ocean view, need to update to wireless for room or note that only hardware is available inside rooms, wish bedroom had view
Absolutely beautiful view of the Lagoon and of the Gulf.
The internet service in our room was very sketchy even though it was hardwired. I was never able to access for more than 1-2 minutes.
Their strip of beach was very well kept and the views were very nice.
Wedding party one evening and the music was pretty loud and went late into the evening.
The Facility is very nice just a little to far. My room was perfect (clean, light music music on before I step in, great temperature, beautiful, comfortable....) The kitchen was flawless and had everything I needed.
The front desk staff was very nice and polite,.... just not very bright (smart) On the fully booked Saturday of labor day weekend, we got to the hotel around 6 pm to check in, and nobody was there. Another 2 couples showed up, phone ringed all the time and only after 20 minutes a young man showed up in a golf cart apologizing for the inconvenience as he was taking some guests to the beach. Granted,... there was a sign on the front desk also apologizing for the inconvenience. But it doesn't make sense to me to have only one person on the front desk at a busy weekend like that, and even less sense for that one person to leave the front desk unatended for at least 20 minutes to help 1 guest while others are coming and calling and getting no assistance. About quality of sleep, I would like better to have my bad closer to the window and away from the door as people walk by and make noise. The price was a little bit spice as I end up paying US$ 252 after taxes for one night for my room booked at US$ 198 (25%+ in taxes? really?).
The grounds were exceptional, the pool is extremely nice!!!!!! the beach was absolutlely gorgeous. Shuttle service was provided to the beach which was great and available at any time. Loved the fact that the vanity area is seprated from the bathroom (I did not have to wait for my husband to get of the shower in order to start getting ready for our night out................................... Very nice kitchen area (not big) but just enough...because on my vacays the last place I want to be is tn the KITCHEN...Very peaceful and quite, we are talking about going back there already..........
The only thing that I would have to say is that there rooms/condo could use upadating concerning the floors (carpet areas) they were old, matted and in our room stains. But just kept my slippers on and I was fine.
There was a surprise $100+ tacked on in resort fees and the resort seemed understaffed.
Great choice of fantastic pools. Few people around - almost had the place to ourselves. Lake and sea front location. Fabulous beach.
No Wifi in rooms (but could be used in lobby) No oven - only a microwave Noise from highway at night
Pools were great!
Elevator was very slow & very hot!
The Gulf of Mexico. Warm weather. And time with family.
Lack of a timely response from MANAGEMENT/staff with a "false" fire alarm. People (including at least one infant) waited in the parking lot for more than two hours. The Panama City Beach Fire Department seemed miffed by the event/management as well.
Someone opened our door with a key card without knocking or announcing their presence. It was uncomfortable to say the least. After that, we kept the dead bolt lock on for privacy. I attempted to contact the manager on duty and was offered his email address. After an unpleasant conversation with the front desk, I was told the manager would call. I was never able to speak to the manager.
I enjoyed the safe, family environment and the friendly staff.
I did not like the hike over to the beach from the inn. We did take advantage of the shuttle when available. We called to rent a golf cart, but never heard back from the company. That would be the only reason I would not stay here again.
Access to gulf and beach. Diner and bar. Shops were nice addition also.
Wet carpet in room near kitchen bar.
Loved the room.
Taxes added on. Town center was vacant. They need more small businesses in there.
We loved the amenities and the location
We wish the shower would have been a little larger.
I loved everything about this resort. We stayed 3 days and didn't have to leave off the resort at all.
The only thing I didn't like was how sensitive the key is. I didn't like having to make sure my phone or credit card was no were near the key or else I would be lock out of the condo during after hours when the office is closed.
Very nice resort for booking just one needed night.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great location overlooking the lake, which has a lot of natural wildlife.
No Wifi in the rooms.
Staff was very friendly. Location was prime. Excellent value!
loved that was a bit off the hotel strip bottleneck, and a bit quieter, yet on a beautiful stretch of beach.
Wish the hotel was on the beach. The lake was OK, but coming from the Canadian prairies, we wanted the beach view, and the ads we read were a bit deceptive about the location.
Comfortable bed. Surrounding amenities were nice.
Room lay out was awful. When you walk in, you're in the bedroom. Living area/kitchen is in the back. Awkward when friends came over. Carpet fairly dirty
Since it was Harley Week, our resort was in the perfect location to avoid the noise from the motorcycles. The scenery was also very beautiful. The walk to the beach wasn't too far, either.
I wish there were a place to buy sundries on location…like fruit, milk, bread, water, etc. I realize the location is close to a CVS and a grocery store, but it just would have been more convenient to run downstairs to get those kinds of snacks for the room. Otherwise, excellent visit!
I like the location. The pool was great. The grounds are very nice.
The people at the front desk were not very helpful. Would just look at you as though they were clueless. The hot tub was dirty and low on water, told them about it and they did nothing. It stayed that way all week/(thats pretty bad) The girls at the desk need to step it up. Or maybe they just need to be better staffed. The room was nice however did not get the feeling it was overly clean.
The facilities was very nice.
Bad area for cell phone. Needs improvment.
relaxing, loved the restaurants and shops
fold out couch bed was very uncomfortable, u could feel every spring in it, we asked for something to put over it to help make them bearable and all was given was a blanket
