There was everything one could need in a room: coffee maker, hair-drier, microwave, etc. The room itself was very spacious and clean. The views of the golf fields were really beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and we really like both of the meals.
Able to enjoy golf & and an outdoor fire in the evening!
Restaurant food was not the best. Maybe rate a 6 on a 1-10 scale.
comfortable, quiet, location.
- front desk check in - security willing to help out late at night with tv issue - food - decor - bed comfort - friendly housekeeping - to go order well prepared and friendly bar service - help with room confusion from front desk mid-stay (got locked out and needed to be re-keyed)
- front desk employees who sit through entire communication with guests - managers who repeat, "It's not my/our fault." for room change confusion or billing clarifications - managers who call you while you are out with family on vacation to tell you that your booking is confused and you shouldn't still be checked into a certain room because they haven't bothered to investigate further - managers who let you know that booking through a third party means you don't get the same quality room as a direct reservation - managers who second guess your loyalty to the hotel after being guests throughout the last 11 years - the feeling that the family owned & operated years are disappearing
Peaceful location with great views.
Very clean, modern and good location. We had a good time and we definitely will be back. The rice fit our budget
There was nothing not to like
bathroom and vanity area was very nice. quiet garden setting. nice views.
big door gap at bottom of room entrance door. Had to get towels to lay down to keep out bugs and weather.
room was nice .
Stayed on 1st floor corner room by office, very, very loud from footsteps on 2nd floor. No handicap access to 2nd floor, curb in way!
Great staff from kitchen to the golf pro to cleaning crew and front desk. Great food compliments to their chef's.
Although I am a golfer, we needed a quiet place while undergoing a legal mediation. Everything was perfect! We were given the quiet room we requested and I was able to practice putting and exercise-swim the morning before the mediation.
The large clean spacious rooms with appropriate accommodations for luggage. View was great!
Well this is unreasonable but I will say it anyway. Times being what they are a special every now and then for repeat customers would be great or some "appreciation" incentive based on usuage.
Facilities were great, nice rooms and beautiful grounds. Nice pool area.
No blow dryer, small toilets, some of the visitors drunk and loud. Location in not too nice of neighborhood.
Clean rooms with convenient access.
The bed was to hard for me.
We didnt like our stay, everything is outdated. Room not clean, water is cold in the shower. The building looked like a motel. Will not stay there ever and definitely will not recommend.
We chose this location because it was right across from the Santee Lakes campground, where our parents were camping. The rooms look recently renovated. The beds were comfy, the room was clean, the girls at the front desk were excellent, the hot tub was nice in the evening, and my husband liked how he could go hit a few balls at the driving range for cheap pretty much right outside of the room! We would recommend this place to anyone!
With the kids, it would have been nice if the pool was heated (but, as we found out, most places do not heat their pools in the off season), but the hot tub did the job for the 4 of us. The sliding bathroom door took a bit to get used to, as to make it shut closed. I did have to go to the front desk twice during our week stay to ask for bottled water (which we were already paying for in our resort fee) and more towels, both of which the housekeepers must have forgot -- honest mistakes. Also, we thought paying an extra $10 a night for a resort fee was a little ridiculous. It was for wifi, 2 bottled waters/day, a daily newspaper… and I forget what else. Not a fee we had ever encountered before. Minor dislikes, but nothing major to make us from coming back!
I was not given a card for the pool. The food we ordered from the grill was not very good.
Lots of trees and grass
We have fun there
Maid service on bedding was not great when we checked in maids hair on bedspread
This is a very peaceful location and Santee is a great area. The maids did a good job the whole week we were there. Very clean and resupplied water bottles were nice. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The restaurant patio was a great place to eat with a scenic view. Pool area was well maintained and spacious. We will stay there again.
Most days the hot water for showers ran lukewarm very quickly. There were long waits at the bar and grill for service because there was only one waitress. They really needed two.
Beautiful resort with a restaurant and golf course.
Being charged a "resort fee" even though we couldn't use the resort facilities.
The rooms, the staff was very accommodating, it was very quite, the golf course was beautiful. It was wonderful. Easy access to freeway so you can get to where you want to go. The Bar and Grill had good food. It is the best kept secret it town. I will be back. Barbara From Scottsdale
Room accomodation was great. While there, we attended a wedding reception and found your facility accessible and enjoyable. Plus, the Wedding Planner (Yvette) did a fantastic job of coordinating the activities and food service.
The room could use a lamp. Lighting is very dim.
VERY comfortable beds. Loved the shower and area to get ready.
Decor was outdated.
I liked how convenient it was booking a room.
The cost of the hotel room. It was a little over $100 for a night and it was for "2 Queen Beds" when we got there. The beds in the room were Full Beds at best. My husband and I barely fit on the bed together. That is misleading!
