Nicely renovated rooms are a good size and well-appointed. Our room had access to a small patio which looked out onto lovely gardens. Overall, an excellent choice in the Carmel area.
The only negative is that the Inn is located on a busy street, so there's bit of road noise, but it wasn't too bad. I would suggest they upgrade their towels, but that's literally the only thing I would suggest.
Room very hot and no way to cool down other than open windows, problem is room faced the street which also doubles as truck route for carmel, very noisy, rough night of sleep
Ideal for us...low key and quiet....lovely gardens....nice walk to main centre of Carmel. We loved Carmel and intend to return. We will stay here again as it offered excellent value for money.
Too noisy from road noise and other guests to sleep well.
Clean and the other guests were nice
Noisy very small rooms.
The helpfulness of staff, the pleasant, boutique-like and genuine premises, the cleanliness of the lobby and room, the fact that it had a little outdoor terrace; it is the perfect location to relax. The décor of the room was impeccable: not fussy and with details that made one feel at home. I am definitely going back.
Room was small but very well appointed.
The price was jacked up tremendously due to the auto show, auctions etc. Would have liked to be a little closer to downtown Carmel for walking.
Friendly reception Wine theme Happy hour Fire pit Free wifi
Close to road Not that walkable to town Parking while free is kind of tight
The young man at the desk was very helpful. He changed rooms for us and also got us a minifrig. The room was lovely and the gardens beautiful. Very relaxing!
Rooms in front are very noisy due to heavy traffic road in front.
It is amazing!
It was clean , Staff were nice , it had a patio & nice garden
The room was small & no coffee making facilities in room, towels were well used !
The service was excellent...the reception desk wanted nothing more than to make me feel welcome...
clean, very idylic hotel with rooms with theme and flowers everywhere, friendly staff, walking distance to town about 3 km, beautiful beach
We stayed for two nights and would stay at this inn again. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfasts and the weekend wine and cheese happy hour.
The walls are thin, and the rooms near the road would be noisy. Fortunately, we had a room in the back.
Great staff. Very friendly. Nice breakfast area. Wine tasting was fun! I liked the decorations in the room. Beautiful flowers.
Room was a little small. No counter space in bathroom. No bottled water in the room.
Rooms were very clean and newly renovated. Beds were comfortable. The room quality is far better than many other local spots. The complimentray wine and cheese was very nice. I liked the fire pit and outdoor spot to sit and relax. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Room was very small even for a solo.I had the std. queen and there is only one sitting chair and barely enough room to walk around the bed, so I do not recommend for 2 people. Walls are very thin and I could hear a lot from guests. Location is not walking distance to downtown, so plan on taking your car and driving around for a parking spot. I feel the price for the size of the room is a little high.
- friendly and helpful staff - extremely clean rooms - delightful breakfast - wine and cheese parties on weekends (I don't drink but it looked inviting) - beautiful gardens - all in all a good experience
- thin walls make it easy to hear neighbors - a bit too far from downtown to walk it easily but can be done - wifi great the first day, but disappeared in the evening of the second - rooms a bit small for anything more than one suitcase
Seems like tea and coffee could have been more accessible
Parking was tight but adequate
The hotel maintains a lovely garden. Friendly workers
Winery themed room was beautifully done. Although a bit small, a lot was squeezed in: bedroom complete with fireplace and bar, a comfy sitting room perfect for reading, and a small but luxurious bath room with a tiled, large shower. We were above the office facing the street and were concerned about traffic, but we slept quite well. A little off the beaten path, but close enough to walk to downtown area, wine tasting, restaurants, and beach. We did all of the above! I LOVED the ambience, and the grounds are lovely. Complimentary breakfast was very nice!
Some traffic noise, but it didn't disturb our night.
The garden/sitting areas were quaint and intimate. The continental breakfast had a lot of variety and was nicely presented. The hotel was quiet and had a relaxed atmosphere.
The parking was a little tight. All the rooms have king-sized beds which means it is geared more for couples. You did need to drive to town.
Cleanness, location. Price in comparison to the local market.
Room is small, personnel on the evening shift is much better, then the morning one. Continental breakfast is the level of Motel 6.
