Adobe Inn  

The room was beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was really nice. It was a stroll to the beach and also very close to restaurants and shops. We had a fabulous time and didn't want to leave.

On the first night the heating was noisy in the night

Clean rooms that were tastefully decorated. Good location in town. it;s very quaint. we love this quality.

Soap bars are reminiscent of a motel 8. The extras on bathroom toiletries could be upgraded

The bed was very comfortable and the birthday welcome basket with fruits and cookies was very nice. The included basic breakfast with juice and cereal, or. Muffins was very nice, too. Location was great to the shops and beach in Carmel.

There was an irritating high beeee sound outside near the inn so we had to close the sliding door and windows.

the facilities were excellent, the hotel was clean and comfortable and very close to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if it was a special occassion.

The price was very expensive although the hotel was beautiful, I did think it was overpriced, however, Carmel appears to be a very expensive place and the meal we had outside of the hotel was overpriced. The breakfast was also sparse but lovely. The hotel is 4 blocks from the beach, walking to it is fine but its a steep walk uphill back to carmel.

Great location. Close enough to everything, but not right in the middle of town. Shopping, food, beach within a short walk.

Carmel is a 'cottage' town. Closes down at 6pm and awakes sleepy. great walking and art.

an ordered breakfast never came one morning but they deeply apologized and the next morning we had a credit and breakfast in a timely manner. The carpet was dirty but everything else was very clean.

Outdated furnishings for price paid. Also lack of attention to detail - trash can not emptied prior to us taking the room, only 2 robes in and 2 sets of cutlery with breakfast even though reservation included 3 people.

breakfast was somehow a joke all as room service: for two adults some granola, some cornflakes, orange juice and some fruits, yeeeaaah

Location was very convenient. Check in was timely and easy. Clean room with nice fixtures. Extremely quiet and relaxing.

Staff leaves at 10, leaving the place unattended.

The staff at Adobe were fantastic. Friendly and responsive to requests. You felt instantly at home when you got to the room which was a good size, had a lovely balcony looking towards the ocean and to top it all a roaring log fire. Centrally located for the middle of Carmel.

This hotel is located near shops, dining, and a 5 minute walk to Carmel Beach.

Excellent location to shops and restaurants. Free parking a real plus for Carmel. Loved the fireplace in the room. Nice touch with breakfast delivery.

Took a while for the hot water to heat up and the bathroom was chilly.

The room was spacious and nicely decorated. We loved the fireplace.

The grounds could be better maintained (cement coming off of steps, etc)

Me and my lady wanted to take a romantic. Adobe inn more than exceeded my expectation. The staff was very accommodating. We stayed for two days, the room we had was nice but didnt have a view of the ocean the first day. We came back from a walk from the oceab and noticed some ocean view rooms were vacant, Sergio( one of the managers) let us change rooms for the second day!! No one does that!! I WILL BE GOING BACK! Thanks Adobe inn for making my stay a very memorable one. Oh yeah and me and my lady are closer than we've ever been because of the romantic room with the fireplace;-)
