Great location, cute and cozy.
They need new bath towels.
The sherry and the breakfast in the room!
Perfect location, host was very accommodating.
No bathtub in room, light kept going off in bathroom.
Excelent help from the people who work at the reception. Friendly welcome wine with cheese everyday for happy hour.
No one to carry luggages.
We stayed at the Vagabond House for New Years. It is a beautiful place with uniquely designed rooms with some great artistic touches. The staff was great and the location is just off the main street.
Amazing place, beautifull, clean, excellent breakfast, comfortable room, bed and shower... I was really welcomed ... I felt like being At home ... everythying perfect! Each detail!
The WiFi was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the rooms comfortable.
We'd prefer to be closer to Ocean Street.
Everything at Vagabond was wonderful! I was there on my honeymoon with my husband and when we got to our room, there was a bottle of champagne waiting for us. We hit the daily wine/cheese hour and found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. I would recommend this place to anyone!
adequately close to everything, but convenientely away from all the move and husle of the main street. walking distance to galleries and fine restaurants. New rooms are fantastic!
make sure you get a renovated room. Price makes sense in one of the new renovated rooms, but seems a little bit steep if you are allocated to one of the old dark rooms
Location in Carmel. Beautiful recently refurbished room. Bluetooth music in the shower! Heated floors, log fire, sherry in the room. Mahoosive bed - I mean we could have had a football team in it, size bed. Lovely breakfast included served to the room.
Nothing but it is pricey. More so than the Four Seasons in Malibu pricey. But ultimately worth it.
Welcome helpful . Sitting in the beautiful courtyard enjoying the excellent wine and cheese .
Wine and cheese at 4
The Vagabond House was lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful with info for our trip around Carmel and beyond. The breakfast was delicious and on the morning we left early before breakfast was brought to our cottage, they brought us food the night before. The cottage itself was cozy and beautiful with unique touches, like an old steam trunk for the fridge/bar/TV stand. The location was perfect-a quiet street a few blocks walking to town. It was a great stay and would highly recommend!
Ambiance, seclusion, access to shopping/dining, overall romantic nature.
There were a few families with small children, but the additional noise wasn't a burden. They have as much right to be there as anyone - we just weren't expecting it.
Beautiful character property- clean and cosy. Would definately recommend. Breakfast was great and staff really helpful.
Central Friendly Excellent breakfast
Randall was a great host! He was extremely diplomatic when telling us our TV was so loud that there were people in the courtyard wondering if there was a bomb shelter on the premises because the engaging sounds of weapon fire was exquisite! He was also on it when we could not find how to turn on closed captioning. Loved the facility and the experience but it was a bit far from the shops to walk and parking is always a problem.
limited handicap parking (not the lodge's fault)
