Ridiculously expensive... Breakfast was just pastries not even Panera kind, bagels, oranges, apples, juice, milk, coffee...no eggs or meat.
Location was close to finish line...not the closest

There was nothing not to like, it was great. So good we've already booked again.
Location, quality and design of accommodation, clean with super staff

Fridge was noisy at night. Had to turn the control to zero so it wouldn't cut in.

Breakfast is a little weak - English muffin, cereal, pastries, no staff to restock. The pillows were too soft and thin.
WiFi, strong shower, location

Being in downtown Carmel we expected a bit of noise, but the insulation between the rooms was very poor. Skip the breakfast ... it isn't worth it.
The staff were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable

many restos were a bit expensive as well as the hotel but very nice I must admit.
Beautiful "back in time" town good for visiting whether warm or cold weather

Expensive, Old room, Old equipment, Slow wifi
December 27, 2014
The place smelled horrible and the bedsheets & room decor looked like something from the 1970s. It would help a lot if they updated the rooms.

Breakfast was pretty grim in a tiny stuffy room - still it was complimentary but not very good.
Attractive room with four poster bed. Close to the town and with parking onsite. Friendly receptionist who was helpful

We were two Norwegian couples travelling together. A wonderful gentleman wished us welcome when we arrived and when we chedked out the next morning the woman was just as nice. Good beds in nice clean rooms. Being located in the middle of Carmel made it easy to see what we wanted in the short time we had there. We will ask for this place again next time in Carmel.

Can't think of anything
Convenient location. Walk to stores, restaurants and beach. Quiet when we were there. Nice breakfast room

The price was a bit to much I've stayed in San Francisco at nicer hotels with real breakfast for less
I thought it was a bit outdated in the decor but the room was nice. It was a little difficult to get information about places to eat because there were no menus from any restaurants nor did the front desk person have suggestion. They did offer a breakfast that was bagels and juices coffee it was a nice start to the day.

Tiny communal breakfast room. Toaster not working. Poor quality food. Building work going on outside.
Size of room very good. Tidy and decor a bit chintzy and flowery but clean and not worn. Good bathroom.

We got King suite which according to the description on the Booking site, it could accomodate 4 (with sleeping sofa) when we got there, they had the king bed and no sofa. The suite had those antique and pretty unusefull chairs, you could no way sleep on. I thought I had booked for 4 and I even wrote that on the comment area, but the owner said, they never read the comment area and I should have called them!! They did not even have a rollaway bed and they were solid booked. My husband had to go to Funeral, so it was only 3 of us. and we had to fit ourselved on one king bed. It was pretty annoying and uncomfortable. I did my homework and I did send them an email too, but they said , they did not read anything. I was desparate, so we said nothing but I told them I was pretty un-happy.

1) Price was too high for the quality of the hotel and room 2) Breakfast which was included in the price was too simple. There was no cream cheese for the bagel, there was no meat (sausage, ham, etc.) at all, the apples in the basket all had lots of dust
Location was ideal for sightseeing and dining in Carmel
