the rooms were not nice looking, old, small, pillows were uncomfortable. Was not romantic at all. Too expensive for what you get.

Amber at the front desk was outstanding. Friendly courteous and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding.

Breakfast should be served until 11am

Location, Location, Location

The staff was not friendly, very old but clean, noisey at night.

Need some update. Poor breakfast. Poor value for money.

This hotel is in a very good location near the freeway, easy access and near the more commercial zone of the city. Breakfast was Ok.

We met two persons of the staff. The girl who checked us in was very kind but the girl who was at the front desk the next day was completely disagreeable

We liked the location very much. Close to the beach, stores and restaurants.

We were behind a staircase on the first floor so it was dark in the room. Also the room needed upgrading as far as plumbing, electrical plugs etc.

The place was really cute, and close to the shopping area, and the beach. Breakfast room was very cozy.

We specifically chose the Carmel Village Inn because of the king size bed at a comparable price to queen size at other similar great locations.

The bathroom was dated and cramped.

Loved thecovenience of being almost downtown Carmel. The motel was bright, cherfl, clean. An unexected pleasure. Definitely worth the money.

Location excellent - can walk to shops, restaurants, beach (a bit longer walk and coming back is uphill), comfortable room.

Location good as near centre and not too far from beaches, but road little noisy. Room okay.

Staff EXTREMELY unfriendly. Must be lucky to have soft spoken people next door as one could hear everything. No safe boxes. Coffee maker situated in toilet and tastes of plastic. On checking-out the invoices wasn't zero'd & asked young lady to please either zero or stamp as paid, she signed, but with a big huff! With staff like that ..Never again!
