The location was fantastic for the price we paid

Loved the quaint cottage feel, the lovely courtyard with fireplace and the rooms were very large and had a gas fireplace. The innkeeper was very friendly and helpful.

We wouldn't have been able to afford to stay here if it wasn't for the booking.com rate.

The staff was VERY friendly. The courtyard was lovely. Was right on the edge of the lovely stores and restaurants.

Only got one large towel per person and they weren't very large. The fan was a floor fan and was wobbly. No decent place in bathroom to put your bathroom stuff. Cost too much considering.

Good size for the price. Breakfast was good. Courtyard is welcoming. Location was reasonably quiet.

Trundle bed for 3rd bed wasn't supplied with full bedding. We improvised to solve it as the office closes overnight and no one is available. A lot of stairs for an older person.

We loved the size of the room and the added electric fireplace. The bed was heavenly and the inn was very clean. A great place to stay. The little outdoors patio was fun if you wanted to have your breakfast out there.

Parking could be a problem in that the parking is behind the inn and very limited. We were lucky to get spaces each night tho.

Very good location at the very nice point of Ocean coast.

The staff was extremely accommodating. Our room was clean and within walking distance to town and the beach. The breakfast area is quite comfortable. We have stayed here with our dog in the past and enjoyed our stay as well.

Since it's an older building and if it were my B & B. I would probably resurface the walls in the bathroom, replace any tiles that have holes in them. I would caulk between the sink and the wall. I'd either refinish some of the furniture or paint it.

Located close to shopping and the beach. Friendly staff and very clean room.

Shower water was to warm.

Loved room 17 with the ocean view. Also how close it is to our favorite restaurant Casanovas, this our second time staying and will continue with making this an annual tradition.

Location is good.

The inn quite old and obviously need renovation. Almost every piece telling to repair or fix it somehow. General impression is that this inn seen much better days before.

The gentleman who checked me in was wonderful. He even gave me an excellent recommendation on where to eat dinner.

Working fireplace at our room, nice outdoor fireplace in the yard.

Food was bad.

Lovely, quite, and friendly. Clean and roomy (as promised) to accommodate the teenager traveling with us.

The breakfast was a bit limited - but it was "served" with a smile, so we didn't mind so much ;-)

The staff is exceptional. The room delightful. And the complimentary breakfast very enjoyable. It was so nice to have china coffee cups & plates. We first stayed at the Wayfarer Inn in the spring of 2012 and enjoyed our stay so much that we booked the Inn again this year. Very nice!

We loved our room...it had a view of the ocean, had a fireplace and exceeded our expectations!

The fireplace didn't work, I was upset about this.

Beach and shops and galleries within walking distance

My friends had a king with view the jacuzzi tub did not work room not very clean had mold my single room was funky, filthy carpet broken old curtain and for slighlty less cost than king with view was greatly inferior. The place needs a lot of maintenace and upgrading.

That it is located down town Carmel. Square footage of the room (#8).

The smell of tobacco in the bedding, hair on the bathroom floor,inn keepers alcohol breath, run down condition of the room & the inn. It is a shame to see this property in such run down condition when it could be a real 'jewel'...hopefully the owner will renovate "SOON"!!!! (hint, hint)
