Great place for the price!
No one is at the front desk. It can be very confusing when checking in and frustrating if you need assistance with something.
The condo was beautiful! clean and wonderful location :)
the only downfall was not having anyone at a front desk and we didn't know that until we got there.
convenience to area attractions, comfortable room, price
wall/floor AC unit a bit loud
Very poor customer service. Our Wi-Fi wasn't set up for the whole 9 nights of stay even after several calls to front desk and management. Had to go to Starbucks for internet. They never changed weddings because the manager said their service is limited. Didn't sleep well because I can hear the water running from showers upstairs and both rooms beside us, additionally, I can hear all the noise outside. Will never go back there again.
I booked this place almost exclusively because of its price. I only needed a place to shower and sleep. For that purpose, it was great. The room was clean and in good repair and there was plenty of room for my daughter and I. The location is great for those visiting Park City.
It was raining when we arrived and the door was locked. The code we got when reserving the place did not work. No one was there for check in. We called a number posted on the wall, but got put on hold for several minutes. The envelope which was were told where to located didn't have a code for our room door so we had to call back a second time to get in. Once we got in everything was good. The only other thing that was an inconvenience was the antiquated television set. We wanted to watch to unwind after a long work day, but the old style tv had a lot of static in the sound the the picture was really grainy. It really needs to be replaced with something more modern.
The rooms were very nice and clean. Location is good. Staff on the whole very helpful. Check in is different but an easy process, just pick up the phone and they walk you through it. The price was affordable and the service from most was good.
Did not get a key to pool or laundry facilities even when I let them know we didn't receive one. Also one night there was an incident where police had to show up which was a little disconcerting. Police handled very well. When I called to find out what was going on, staff was unaware and one of the staff let me know they did not handle all of Carriage House and I could call police myself and see if they would tell me what was happening (even more disconcerting).
Great location. Actual room was clean. (Foyer and lobby was a little run down) Good room for the price.
I booked on booking.com. The day before check-in I called the actual property to confirm my reservation and they had no record of me having a reservation. Luckily when I showed up they had me down. Check in was very odd and confusing. The property is locked and there are no staff on site. You supposedly check in somewhere else, but then there is a code to get in and a code to open a safe with your info in it. Luckily there was another person who was a few steps ahead of me in this process and told me who to call. If that other person hadn't been there I would have been very frustrated.
-check in was confusing -front door alarm was going off the entire time during our stay. -not as close to town and bus route stopped running at 4:18pm.
This is a condo bldg. as part of Prospector Square, a nice, low-rise area including the Marriott etc. It's very quiet; I don't know how much this was due to few guests--or maybe they were very quiet guests. :) The price for what was offered was extraordinary. During ski season, when I'd love to stay there again, I suspect the prices are very different indeed.
Well, there was no check-in service, causing me considerable confusion. The staff at Marriott was nice enough to contact the person responsible for the check-in process. Once on the phone he explained it to me, it wasn't that difficult. This isn't a serious complaint. The process they have chosen is probably part of why these condos are so reasonable in price. Maybe they could explain this more clearly in the booking.com process?
Sink in bathroom wouldn't drain and the water pressure was very low. Couldn't log onto internet. Was not told that checkin was not on site. Mattress soft/saggy. Bed linens stained. Not well sound proofed--noise from above and out in hall (drunken neighbors at 2am)
Had trouble with the hair dyer, I called and they were on it, had a new one the next day. Arrived early and the room was ready so I was able to get in sooner than four, I traveled from California and was very tired, that was a blessing. It was a nice room.
Not a good job when sweeping, had left over candy on the bathroom floor. Every night the people next door or beneath my room, played the music loud from 10 to 1:00 AM, Wednesday night I believe they had a party and the music played longer. On Thursday they smoked pot and I could smell it.
Nicely decorated. Conveniently located. Well worth the money. Very comfortable.
I was a little confused, initially, about how to check in. Perhaps this information could have been emailed ahead of arrival.
The room was nice and didnt look like it was decorated in the 70's so that was nice. The room was quiet and bed was small but comfortable
We didnt know what to do when we got there for check in. There was no one there and that was a little different than what we are use to when we check into a place to stay. Once we called the number we had from a confimation email we were told what to do, and it was fine.
Pretty much nothing. I will never use again.
This placed is not staffed. You have to check-in via phone to get codes to get into the building and then code to a safe to get your key. My room did not have air conditioning, blinds were broken, bathroom fan not working. Barely enough hot water to take a shower. Not very many channels on the tv. There was a cat that roamed the halls.
I really liked the pool being heated and useable. The kitchen was decent. Beds were average. Location was OK, but required a long walk to the old part of Park City. The staff who assisted our entry to the property were nice and helpful. The maid who left my daughters stuffed toy on her pillow was very sweet.
I didn't like the lack of a working fan in the bathroom. The video system, like so many in condos now-days was very complicated and had no instructions.
1. handy for shuttle bus 2. cost effective accommodation 3. plenty of free parking
1. tired, needs updating 2. laundry standard not good - had to request new pillows as old ones dirty and not been changed 3. spa needs improving
Convenience to buses to take us to shops, ski fields. Ease of use of buses.
Plumbing in our condo needed attention (we notified Silver King) the bathroom tap was difficult to operate. The bathroom basin did not drain properly and had an odour. Door code was changed during our stay and we were not notified..... Could have frozen to death on the door step as no staff are on premises Wardrobe doors fell off tracks every time we moved them
Close to everything. Located right where you want to be to experience everything Park City has to offer.
Park City prices!!!!
Well equipped kitchen in the room. Plenty of space for 2 people.
No staff for check in, need to check in remotely. Room was meant to have a queen bed, we felt it was only a double bed.
Great location, blocks from Park City Mountain. Lots of great casual dining nearby and great drive thru coffee place down the street. The room had everything we needed, comfortable bed and fully stocked kitchenette. No one is staffed there but the phone system was very helpful. Plenty of free parking. Excellent maid service.
It was a little noisy but expected at this price and PC is a fun place to go out at night. We heard people coming home after midnight but then it quieted down. We would stay here again.
The location and rate paid for room was very good.
No one was on location to help you. the room faced the street and the buses were load.
Location is short walking distance from Marriott's pleasant bar and dining and from an excellent Italian restaurant on sidewinder street and 50 yards from the resort bus stop. My corner efficiency in Carriage House Condo was just right for a single traveler or couple. It had refrig, 3 burner electric range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, utensils. I appreciated very much that the desk handling late arrivals was open 24-7 and that there was adequate parking either right at my condo or just 50 yards further.
My condo had its own electric 50 gallon water heater in the closet. The bathtub was a spa jet type, but the water heater went cold within maybe 20 to 30 gallons. The recovery time for hot water was more than 1 hour after that. The spa jet tub worked fine. Electric Heater elements get lime deposits within a few months that reduce water heating capacity and increase recovery time enormously, unless frequently taken out to clean off lime and scale. I had to prove to the maintenance man that the tub could not be filled up to the spa jets with hot water due to the condition of the heater elements. Management brushed me off on this issue. Imagine someone showering and then the wife wants to wash her hair.....big trouble for management. The city bus stopped at the stop sign right outside my window every 30 minutes for 20 hours of the day and night; thank heavens I became a sound sleeper the second night.
My room was in bad location from an environmental and health standpoint. Lot of guest noise. Diesel exhaust and noise through my window. Several convenience items did not function in the unit.
Everything but the check-in process :-)
The check-in process.
The bed, awful. It bends and its very small.
