It had good location with good access to the highway. The room was clean.
First, the bath room. It looked like the maintenance man had a fetish for silicone sealant. Pipes rattled when showering and the hot water is VERY hot. do not assume it is like at home or you'll get burned. Debris in the overhead light. And second, the room was decorated like it was done back in the 60's. finally, it seemed that the stairs to the second floor were steep. carrying a suitcase up them was tiring for healthy a sixty-ish person.
It was a great deal for the money . Not a bad place to stay. We would stay again.
Would be great if they had a better breakfast.
The price is why we stayed.
You could film a scary movie there. The attic opening in my room scared me to death.
Staff was competent and friendly. We did not see any cleanliness issues. Good location for us.
Motel is in desperate need of an upgrade. Walls and linens were old, bedspread was torn, couch was falling through. Staff was competent and friendly, they kept it clean. Don't expect any kind of breakfast, consisted of juice, milk, coffee, toast and cereal. A lot of the of guests were long term Hispanic construction guys, one guy wandered around the complex all day or sat in his doorway.
It was a good value for the money. I would stay there again. The owners were very friendly. I have traveled a lot and usually stay at the mid-level motels. I would put this one at the upper part of my preferences for the money.
The bathtub had residue from old bathtub grips and could have been removed or replaced.
I like vintage, their decor and design was from the 80's when they built it, but I liked it. The room was very spacious. It had a microwave, ice box, and wifi. I must say the bed was really comfortable.
Thy did not have an ironing board, and the room a very strong old smell.
