This property is amazing! Reception and Housekeeping staff are extremely pleasant and very welcoming. Close to everything you will need and far enough away from the busy and noisy tourist areas! (5 mins to 5th Ave, 15 mins to Times Square) |

Room was small but functional, clean and modern. Free Wifi worked well (fast and no down time like a lot of more expensive hotel that charge you extra for it). Street noise was a bit intrusive on Saturday night. Location a bit further East than I would have liked but not too bad given its price and Midtown location. |

It's a clean hotel, quiet, excellet location. I asked the restaurant opposite to Carvi Hotel a pasta wth shrimps and it was really disgusting. |

Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and fresh. Only one free outlet in the sleeping area, and it was dead! No way to charge our cell phones or laptops, except on the floor in the bathroom. Bathroom was neat and stylish, but really small shower and sink clogged (staff repaired immediately). Television "buzzed", but we didn't come to Manhattan to watch TV, so no big deal to us. |

friendly staff didn't get the room I booked and a funny onion smell that came from one of the near by restaurants, but the smell only came between the late hours of the morning and early afternoon. |

Location to shopping and restaurants; friendly staff; accommodated early check-in for West Coast travelers who fly in for red-eye flights (this made a HUGE difference and positive experience in our visit). The furniture, beds and bedding, TV, iPod dock, and bathroom fixtures are stylish, modern and pleasing. Carvi has rooms that can accommodate 3-4 guests, which is great since my friends and I travel to NYC more than 2 at a time. The hotel also allowed for parking, in case the guest is driving in/out of NY. |

Excellent Location. The hotel staff was very friendly and ready to help (we missed some light beside one of the beds - but after our request a lamp was brought immediately). Large and well equiped bathroom. Considering, that we were in NYC midtown, it was not so much noisy. There is no bar in the lobby (but you´ll find places near by the hotel to get a drink). |

The beds and pillows are by far the most comfortable I've slept on in a long time. Bathroom is all marble including the shower and has plenty of room. Although this hotel is a lean boutique hotel without a lot of services i.e. spa, business room, or work out center, It's location, comfort and price make it a much better deal than most of the refurbished older hotels in town. |

The staff was commited in providing all information about de city to facilitate the stay. There were portuguese speakers. The place was calm and silencious. There should have at least a chair in the room. There was no sofa in the lobby for sitting place. No computer available for guest acess to internet. |

The room was spotless and very tasteful and restful. The bed and linens were excellent quality and very comfortable. The lobby was elegant and clean. All staff were friendly, professional and helpful. They arranged a driver for early morning airport transportation and allowed us to us check in and print boarding passes on thier computer the night before our departure. The location was very convenient to seeing all of the city. Subway two blocks, taxis right out front door, starbucks on the corner. Chinese restaurant next door and Indian restaurant across the street bent over backward to offer friendliness and excellent service-very clean and serene with excellent food after a long day of walking.. Being on a lower floor (3rd) and not being used to city noises, we left the fan on all night, with the air conditioning, to drown out street noise. The hotel itself, however, was very quiet and a pleasant refuge after busy days. |

The staff was great. Room was big enough for two. Hotel does not have Ice maker available to guest. Hotel was too pricey with very few amenities. No onsite parking beware of Ticket Police. |
