Friendly staff. Treated like family!
Our room had the view of the street which is usually great but in New York its a bit noisy. But we still loved the Carvi and Staff!
Very near subway, Small hotel, friendly, helpful staff, free wifi. Quiet and relaxed. Roof terrace looked nice, but wrong season for us to use.
Coffee maker, but no tea. Hanging space too short for dresses. Neither point should deter you, though. This is a comfortable place to stay
Location. Clean. helpful staff
very small everything
Clean good location
Plastic under sheets! hate them had to remove it!
room was bare minimum
I did check in late and the front desk manager was very helpful with checking in, parking for my car and a great tip for a place to grab a late dinner.
This was the most incredibly over-priced room I ever stayed in. It's called a "suite," but it is one very small room with two beds. One cheap desk-chair to sit in. View of an air shaft. The lobby was small, noisy, and uncomfortable. Turns out there is a Doubletree four blocks away that is $100 cheaper per night.
The room was relatively capacious and the bathroom was clean with enough space.
I would prefer a bigger closet; it was not enough for three persons. It would en great if there is a microwave
Good position, quite street, close to anywhere, very good and professional staff. Quite noisy outside but that is New York
The clothes shelve in room is very small. Gosh, my fridge is bigger than the shelve. We've been traveling in 3 persons and have no place to pick out our clothes out of suitcase. And no hangers for coat in the room.
when i got to the hotel, there was no one at the front desk. I had to wait like 15 minutes until someone finally showed up. Person was friendlly, but that is not great service. The room was also very small. If you can help it, go to another hotel that has a bar and restaurant.
The staff was very nice, very helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, had robes, in room coffee and the best showerhead I've ever experienced. I'd definitely return and recommend.
Prompt service with technician to help with TV ... even though it wasn't resolved. Bed and pillows were good. Shower strong and hot!! :-)
You need to clean up that junk heap in the lower level (looking out through 205, there's all types of junk and refuse at the lower level). Very unsightly and pretty nauseating.
Comfortable bed. Lovely rooftop lounge. Friendly and helpful staff
No food. First floor required stairs. Very small rooms.
Location. Staff were helpful and friendly.
OK, but nothing special.
Friendly, helpful staff especially on the front desk provided us with maps, directions ,advice on places to eat, watch world cup games wherever we were in town.Rooms comfortable, clean cool, mini bar fridge a great help.Wi-fi trouble free.Take staff advice and walk, you see so much more of the city.Take half an hour in the evening to take a beer/glass of wine up to rooftop patio, chill out and listen to the city below.
Great location, impeccable service, very quiet room facing the back - not heard the ever-present NYC sirens at all! Comfortable beds, some hard pillows. Cleanliness.
More hard pillows. A quibble - put the price tag on the bottle of water right from day one.
Expensive for what it was.
Convenient location. Cleanliness.
Windows didn't seal completely. A bolt was missing from one window.
Great hotel with very helpful staff. It is a small hotel with a great personality. Perfect location, off the beaten track (quiet) but still close to everything! Two blocks from the subway and walking distance to both Central Park, Rockfeller Center and Grand Central Station. Free Hotel WIFI! I see no reason not to come back when I am in NYC next time!
Quiet hotel in the evening/night felt away we were away from all the hussle and bussle.
The diner they recommend and get 10% off just not very nice! went once never again!
It was clean & comfortable.
Only one electrical outlet accessible, which is ridiculous in this age of ipads & iphones & computers. Nothing special about this place at all. Not a particularly welcoming staff when I arrived, though they were competent. No body gel, just bar soap.
Staff was wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful.
A bit noisy
The rooms are small; the light didn't work.
