Location is perfect. Great breakfast.
The location, the fireplace, the ambiance, the staff and the owners, breakfast, everything!
The room could use a little more bedside lighting for reading
Location, decor, tea, breakfast.
Bed was too soft.
Staff was very friendly - room was great complete with fireplace. Breakfast was over the top.
Everything was simply wonderful. The room had a great fireplace that made the room super cozy and romantic. Even the soaps and lotion provided in the room were extra special. The breakfast was delicious and the woman working it has been there 15 years and you can tell she loves it! We would have been happy with basic breakfast but it was so much more, including homemade tortillas and Mexican eggs. The location is perfect if you want to walk around downtown Taos from your hotel. We can't say enough good about this place, it was so charming. We will be back! Thank you.
The king bed in our room sagged a little in the middle but was soft and luxurious.
I have stayed at several locations in Taos. Casa Benavides is absolutely the BEST. I have stayed at the El Monte Segrado and honestly Casa Benavides is so much better. From the staff, rooms, and breakfast it is a stand out! Love it!
No coffee maker in room. Only 1 glass for water and no bottled h2o offered. No internet in room, only in main building. TV reception was poor. Although the place is pretty, nothing felt inviting.
Beautiful grounds and rooms, wonderful owners and staff, and delicious food. Attention to detail is fantastic. I loved all the colors in the breakfast room!
Very attentive staff
Quaint suite, fantastic style.
Very friendly staff/owners. Cute Inn, liked the porch and yard area. Close to many in town shops and restaurants, close enough to drive easily to many Taos attractions.
could have used another flat surface in the room, not really any space for toiletries. Chairs in the Cowboy room not too comfortable.
Large, comfortable room, convenient location, very friendly staff, on-site free parking, full breakfast each morning in an airy high-ceiling Southwestern style room, and an afternoon tea with freshly baked cookies, pastries, etc.
Location. Service. Decors. Breakfast. Yes! Breakfast.
Nothing which comes to my mind.
Beautiful dining room; excellent food including complimentary baked goods for tea
TV didn't work; no ventilation in entrance room.
Rooms were extremely well kept and authentic to the Taos style. The group breakfast was excellent. Walking distance to the town center and Eskes Brew Pub.
The decor in the room was so lovely we just wanted to stay there and enjoy looking at it. Breakfast room also gorgeous. Loved the granola. Convenient parking.
Very charming, excellent New Mexico experience each time we have been a guest there over the years.
The people were welcoming and friendly, the facility was lovely, the breakfast and tea exceeded my expectations. Over all a great place. Perfect location for us.
What's not to like????
Fabulous breakfasts, delicious homemade Granola. The owners are lovely people and really but a lot of effort into their B&B
Beds need softer pillows.
I usually stay at a chain hotel when I visit Taos. This trip I decided to try a bed and breakfast type of accommodation. I couldn't have picked a better place. The staff for the most part are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The common area where wi-fi is accessible is comfortable and inviting. I plan on returning next fall. Most people staying were repeat guests. The location is the best for walking about town. You can easily park your car and never need to drive anywhere. Food, shopping and galleries are all within walking distance.
The size of the bath was small, not that there was room for much more. It was a bit of a hassle to have to go into the main building to use wi-fi. That being said, I had an opportunity to meet other guests I would not have had if I was using in room service.
Breakfast entree varied and other offerings were pretty much the same every day so you could count on them to supplement the entree. Delicious all, and good coffee! Breakfast room is high ceilinged decorated with New Mexican theme. Walk in and sit anywhere - the staff will greet you promptly. Casa B is within walking distance of shops, a museum and restaurants.
The bathroom was quite large, but had only one glass - there were two of us - only one towel bar and no place to put wet washcloths. The bathroom had a small refrigerator, but it had not been properly prepped for guests because the small freezer compartment was totally frozen over so was useless. The unit also generated a lot of heat, perhaps because it was closely enclosed under the vanity.
We were able to change our upstairs room to a ground floor room because of our problems with climbing stairs. The staff was so pleasant and willing to help. The breakfast is well balanced and delicious. Great location for enjoying the area.
