The location to what there was to see and eateries was good. Hotel was very clean.
We got a handicap shower which was not the best. Had a spray nozzle that if pointed in the wrong direction the restroom floor would get soaked. Had to keep it close to the wall in order not to soak the floor. Got a 4th floor room and it was a little nosy with rooftop a/c or whatever was above us. Wifi was horrible although it said free when you tried logging in it would ask if you wanted to upgrade for a price.
Perfect location for Sausalito trip
Olde Worlde charm of the hotel, Poggio restaurant, ocean view room, convenience to ferries, weather was nice
Great mattress & pillows. Comfortable furniture and nice bath products.
a room that blocked our view of the bay. Receptionist was not all that welcoming or gracious when asked simple questions. Another customer asked about where he could find cigars in town. The receptionist snapped, "Not in Sausalito," and never elaborated.
Quality of fixtures and fittings Size of Room Location Spa
This luxury doesnt come cheap
nice location, nice people, nice facility.. will come back
the fitness center was just a carfdio room
Room was clean and well equipted, bath was very spacious.
I wish they there was an inhouse resturant.
Location, facility, and staff
Price, too expensive
Very convenient location, within walking distance of many shops and great restaurants and the ferry to SF. Employees really pleasant and helpful. Room was beautiful and airy - nice and big, as was bath.
No makeup mirror!! Minor, but: Could use a bit more counter space for personal "stuff." For the price, breakfast should be included. Every other place we stayed (5 total) - even an ugly chain hotel - included breakfast. Casa Madrona was most expensive of all. Also most other places had wine in evening, but there really isn't an appropriate spot for that at CM.
Location- Location excellent ! Service top shelf - beautiful quiet spacious room, and the bathroom to die for. a must stay!!
Staff at reception desk is poorly (or not) trained. One morning I called for my car and was told it would be there for me, but 30 minutes later the valet didn't even know I had requested it. Another morning, I asked for directions to a locally popular spot and was given WRONG directions. I had requested a room change when I arrived. On "room change day" I received a call from Housekeeping at 1pm, saying they would be moving me shortly. I went out for a bit, returning at 4:30pm and was given the key to my new room by the front desk clerk. Upon entering the room, I discovered that my clothing, etc. had indeed been moved, but the room itself had not been cleaned at all. FINALLY, at 5:30pm it was cleaned. This is service for a guest staying a total of 5 nights? In addition, my reservation showed a room with a balcony. No such room was available for me upon checkin AND the front desk clerk was not exactly warm and fuzzy when I complained about it.
No high end in room products Lighted vanity mirror caught fire, no apology House keeping didn't make up room one day No turn down service
very friendly staff and good location
no inside relaxing common space (facilities). Only outside but what about cold weather !
The view, the big room
The location is superb. Nice place for walks,.excellent cafe's on the front and nice shops and yachts to look at
No tea, only coffee in the room and water at 6 dollars a bottle No breakfast. Package offer with another business Valet parking they could simply have given me a token to put in the car which would have been less.hassle
The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in. It was so much fun to be right in the middle of the Sausalito activities.
Location Location Location!!!
Room Service , Staff knowledge and ability,
Loved the location. Walking distance to great dining, shopping and views of the bay.
If you rely heavily on internet the free wifi is very slow. This was not a big issue for us. Getting a car from the valet can be slow when they get busy. If you call ahead this can be avoided.
Location and view
Professional and friendly service above and beyond from valet, reception to service people. Comfort, view and peacefulness.
Friendliness of woman who checked us in
We had a courtyard room And the fans from the laundry were very noisy
The problem we had was our desire to spend at the low rung of Casa Madrona. I did not like the split level room. The upper level was incredibly cramped, although the bathroom was spacious. The decor reflected a male businessman taste, dark, masculine colors and textures. The long business desk was old and chipped, very depressing. Dust on the stairway. Would have preferred lighter, holiday, vacation decor.
Location was great. Close by restaurants and the ferry. Good atmosphere and staff very good. We did enjoy the balcony and the view.
Bathroom in room 306 was microscopic. Walls very thin and could hear conversations in adjoining rooms.
