bed was comfy, bathroom was big, water pressure was amazing, view was nice, room was big
furniture was old and worn, shower door was old, lamps old, carpet was dirty, when i say old and worn i do not mean antique and vintage...it was dirty and some items need replacing ...attention to detail was zero the check in man was rude and did not follow through with special requests...the rest of the staff was very nice...
Location, comfort and friendliness of front desk
Beautiful central location, close to many sites and activities. Great stay, friendly staff, overall A+ rating
Parking was weird, but not awful
we ask the staff to clean our room and it was to not cle aned. The bathroom needed some work done for the price we paid.
the location, everyone was helpful and nice, food and service were very good, breakfast at least,
construction making the lobby inaccessible when we were ready for check out, a little warning would have been nice, the tub had a very slow drain when in the shower water would be over your ankles
Thank you so much to the Casa Monica Team, especially Tommy (Valet), John (Bell Staff), Lauren (Front Desk), Erika (Front Desk), Luis Concierge), and Gillen (Telephone Operations), for your heroic efforts to go above and beyond in helping to make this past weekend truly amazing and unforgettable. My fiancé was overwhelmed by your passionate attention to every detail. We look forward to spending celebrating future special occassiona here. With gratitude, John R.
A little pricey...save it for special occassions
This hotel was simply beautiful. Great location for site seeing. Beds are comfortable.
Must pay for wi-fi.
Service, location, decor
The bathtub for a premium room $377 a night is less than ordinary and we had problems with the plumbing. The pipes rattled when taking a shower. And we can hear everything next door through the inside door.
Cozy room and alway could smell the cand shop below, uummmm!
Having my car parked so far away,BUT understood the situation of location.
Booked king for wedding night got 2 full size. Lucky that another king was available. Very noisy location with poor noise deadning .. Heard everything on the street including a drag race at midnight. No way to leave fan on only with the ac to create "white noise". Bring your earplugs.
location was perfect. common areas were fine. bed was great. staff was helpful and attentive
why is there not one place in St Augustine with slick, chic, clean, cool rooms??? this is a classic old, dated hotel with tired large furnishings and heavy draperies and windows that dont open, 's in my mind not worth much.... I travel the world...
Didn't appreciate paying 50 dollars for breakfast for 2 given the room rate . Hate being charged for Wifi. This would even put me off rebooking this otherwise excellent hotel.
The location in town is great. The hotel is poorly run.
A very average room, overlooking the main street on 2nd floor advertised as deluxe. Dark dingy, well travelled and well worn. The lady in the bar ran out of limes served our cocktails with no very little alcohol and no lime in a small glass. Even she was embarrassed. So we went out to dinner to avoid. Expensive car parking, expensive internet …everything extras. $300 for what should have been $100
Good central location, perfect for St George Street
Really feel that they could have provided free wifi in the rooms - it was free in the lobby
Wonderful old style hotel with excellent service and comfort. The location could not be better, you can walk everywhere. Great restaurant and lovely shops.
Comfort & Decor.
You can hear everything in adjoining rooms.
No mini bar in room Wifi far too expensive, should be free in this class of hotel. Staff not as welcoming as should be,this appears to be geographical rather than local.
Great walking location. Very comfortable historic hotel. Don't miss enjoying the pool.
Internet fee seems excessive.
the architecture is fantastic and was the main motivation to our decision to stay.
I felt there was little imagination put in to the service of the hotel. No nice little surprises that make you feel valued. The gym was very limited and the running machine was out of order.
Staff was welcoming and friendly.
The hotel itself is beautiful and distinct however it boils down to another corporate Marriott hotel. Stay at a bed and breakfast instead and save some money.
Food was good but expensive. Bathroom was large and good shower. No self-parking.
No mini fridge in the room. Pillows were small. Not enough electrical outlets. Bar and restaurant too dark.
Fantastic location!!! Great customer service.
Lauren was great, Brett was very kind. The restaurant was wonderful . Was nice having the horse & buggy ride pick us up at the hotel .
A bit difficult getting mom up and down the stairs, into the building.
It is a long list: our room was small, like our bathroom at Breakers, had a small window with poor views, noisy, located above the orchestra in the restaurant with loud music until midnight, nearest room was the gym with loud disco music starting 6 am. we booked a king bed, got a queen, my husband 6 foot 6, there was only one nightstand and it was so dark in the room that we needed our flashlight to find our clothes in closet. Chairs in the restaurant were greasy, no buffet breakfast so in order to get some fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and eggs you need to pay $ 50-60.
