Casablanca Hotel

We were looking for an intimate, romantic, private, boutique style hotel that was close to all the action but a sanctuary when we required it. The Casablanca is a unique gem of a hotel just steps from the hustle and bustle of Times Square and designed in a way that you would never know that you were in the heart of the city for a peaceful nights sleep. The ambiance, helpful and genuinely friendly staff paired with stress free access to refreshments throughout the day helped make our New York stay a perfect honeymoon. We would highly recommend the Casablanca for theatre goers and lovers of a little indulgence - the cheese and wine reception every evening and the piano player on a Friday transport you to another era....

The standard double room on first impression seemed a little small, particularly for my husband who is over 6ft. However, the room was tastefully furnished, was well designed for storage, the bed was very comfortable and the room was immaculately clean.

This hotel has everything - friendly and helpful staff, very large room for the location and city, excellent breakfast and wine and cheese in the evening and quiet even though it was in the middle of the city!

The staff was extremely friendly. Location is perfect, especially if you want to see Broadway musicals.

The breakfast was very nice as was the wine and cheese in the evening. The staff was extremely helpful and cordial. Rick's has a very nice atmosphere in which we could relax and chat with friends.

the people we traveled with had a room overlooking the street and did not sleep well because of the noise even tho they wore ear plugs. They would not stay there again for that reason. Our inside room was quiet except for the noisy air conditioner.

Clean, friendly, excellent service

Marvelous hotel -- great staff, very willing to help, great location in Midtown, half block from Times Square. The breakfast was wonderful, very helpful to have food right there before starting our day. The afternoon wine and cheese was also lovely -- a great way relax before the evening. We had some confusion about our room -- we thought we booked a double -- ie, two beds-- but only had one double bed instead (not very clear on the web site!) However, we were offered a suite with two beds at a rate only sightly higher than what we expected, and it was very nice. All in all, having the breakfast and snacks helped tremendously with the cost of visiting NYC. The hotel lobby and the second floor lounge areas are really charming.

The Casablanca in the heart of times square provided us with the perfect location to enjoy all that Manhattan had to offer. It is a boutique style hotel with special services like the complimentary breakfasts and a daily wine and cheese social. The staff were attentive and professional. We would choose to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, and most definitely will recommend this hotel to all of our friends who will visit NY. Location was excellent, room was surprisingly quiet, the snack bar and breakfast were really good.

Well, it's New York, so the prices are much above what you'd pay elsewehere.
