Casita H could have been cleaner. The closet floors were very dusty, and we didn't end up using the closets due to the dust. The kitchen utensils weren't 100% clean, I washed everything before we used it. Also, we love fresh air and when I opened the windows, they all had construction dust on the window sills. That should have been seen by the management and could have been easily vacuumed.
The smaller bathroom in Casita H suffers some mildew and disintegration of the grout and tiles due to the fact that there is no window in it, so the lack of ventilation leaves it too damp. Also, there was a daily infestation of ants.
We loved the location, we could walk to everything. We also liked the charming homey house set up, perfect for a family with two children. It was great to have a full kitchen, it saved us some $$: we didn't have to eat every meal in restaurants.
The neighborhood is delightful, it was fascinating to explore the gorgeous pueblo architecture, we had never seen that, being lifelong east coasters. We really enjoyed walking to the Plaza up the hill, the museums and shops, as well as the shops and restaurants down the main street on Guadalupe, past the church and the park.
I would recommend Casas de Guadalupe to my friends, although it needs to be more well vacuumed, and the bathroom mildew situation needs to be addressed.
