The décor, the location, the friendly staff. Everything was perfect. I will stay there again when next in Albuquerque
Nothing. It was all great.
The room reminded me of a small duplex that had been very nicely renovated. Living room, kitchen, bedroom , and bath. All the rooms were small, but comfortable, and well furnished. Breakfast was great!
This room had the smallest toilet I have ever seen.
Within three block of old town.
The reviews looked amazing, but when they walked us through the beautiful grounds and out into the back parking lot, I got really worried. We paid a lot of money for a king suite, but instead got a room that was "themed" sw, but pretty grungy, no nice place to sit outside like all the other rooms and sadly executed details. It was also pretty smelly - stale and the chemical odor of cleaning products. The facility looks fun, but be sure to clarify your room before clicking "send". We were more than disappointed. I have no idea what the other rooms look like.
Location very close to the old town plaza area, breakfasts , garden surroundings. As we had a lot of luggage the parking alongside our unit was very convenient.
bed in our unit was so high that it was difficult for mature people of average height to get into and out of.
great ambience an old route 66 stop pretty courtyard and gardens good breakfast
not spic and span clean. definitely old, could use some sprucing up
This facility grew on me as we stayed there. The grounds are beautiful and the location to Old Town is excellent. But it is a bit funky and is in need of an upgrade. It would be great for families as every casita has a living room and kitchen in addition to a bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast is very good with made to order choices and buffet.
Needs an upgrade
The gardens, the breakfast, the art work, the location, many of the staff (the veterans, not the "staff in training"), and the tastefulness and quality of the furnishings are all great, and the reason we like to stay there.
There were two weddings bookended on our stay, and the place was overwhelmed--the staff overwhelmed dealing with problems when there were no extra rooms to move people to if there were problems (it's an old place, so problems happen), and some staff seemingly in "training' who had few people skills and no awareness of how to solve problems. The veteran staff were often tied up with the weddings, but were otherwise great when you could get them.
the gardens and winding paths were awesome - the casitas were lovely - the breakfast offered many options - the location in Old Town was very nice
The garden. The residence-like interiors. The breakfast area. The quiet street presence. The quirky details all over. All great.
The internet connection was weak. Maid service could have been slightly better.
It has a Santa Fe ambience without the glitz. Old Town Albuquerque is much more "authentic" but still has lots to look at, and the museums are within walking distance, as are lots of places to eat. But you don't need to search for breakfast--Los Suenos is excellent!
WiFi was slow. It was not a problem for ordinary email, but we do a lot of conferencing over the web and found it difficult.
Location, restaurants near-by.
Property ready for restoration, a lot of peeling paint on the outside. Grounds needed maintenance .
Beautiful gardens, delicious made-to-order breakfast, roomy hacienda with kitchen and patio, beautifully furnished, friendly staff, well-located, excellent value.
Very comfortable, homey rooms.
Individual apartments with good facilities close to the old town
Wifi was a bit flaky in the route 66 apartment. Could do with a access point.
Loved the "retro" feel of the property. Beautiful grounds, great location withgin walking distance of Old Town and the Botanical Garden. Excellent breakfast.
Staff very helpful. Dining room very nice. Cook to order breakfast. Great location to old town
Excellent location to Old Town. Unique property with a lot of history. Nice having a cooked to order breakfast. Friendly, informative staff, especially Lorenzo upon our arrival. We would stay here again.
Beautiful gardens and breakfast setting. The staff was very cordial and considerate.
Old Town shuts down at night so we couldn't take advantage of the location.
Lovely rooms with everything you could want. We ate out and ate in, the choice is yours with full kitchen facilities in the room. 5 minutes walk to old town. Freshly made New Mexico breakfast - great portions. Great decor throughout the grounds. Would stay here again.
Had to turn air con off at night ( a bit noisy) but room wasn't too hot.
I had only one brief night here, but it was comfortable, safe, and quiet, and I would certainly return. These are casitas located across Central from the Plaza in old town and are convenient to that area. The enclosed grounds which connect all the casitas are beautiful, very well maintained, and full of art... I felt like I was walking through the entry gates into history. The rooms are both commodious and funky with plenty of character and charm which makes the world of away. My bed was huge and very comfortable. I had a full kitchen, and plenty of lounging area. Patios galore. I had to leave before breakfast, but met the chef and toured his kitchen. There is a full menu which looked and smelled great A special shout out to the staff who were simply excellent and very accommodating and informative. In all, a nice, but brief, stay which I would surely repeat.
There were a number of flying insects in the room, and the windows seemed in disrepair.
Great place to stay.staff and manager go out if their way to assist. Would highly recommend
Felt like "home" after staying in hotels for the previous week. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Loved the location - within a short walk to Old Town.
Minor issue with the blinds in the master bedroom - should be replaced.
This was a wonderful historic hotel / bed and breakfast that was located within walking distance of Albuquerque Old Town. The grounds and gardens were absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are very comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, and we highly recommend this establishment.
We liked everything about this place! It was perfect. The staff was delightful, clean, wonderful breakfasts, unique, well-kept, charming. I can't say enough good things about Casas de Suenos. If back in Albuquerque, we will definitely stay here. Wish we could find a place like this everywhere we go. Thank you so very much!!
The garden is beautiful! The layout of the property gives the impression that you have your own private villa. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
