Location and friendliness of staff.
External appearance and one lift out of action was not a good start, but renovations were going on. Once settled in it was brilliant!
We chose this hotel because we could get a room with two double beds at a reasonable price. I'm so glad we stayed here. Our room was absolutely soundproof -- in the middle of New York! Lovely, modern, clean, comfortable, with a huge window. A great bathroom with a luxurious shower. The heat was very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff.
Very noisy and not properly working air condition. Thin between rooms wall so you can hear what other doing
Good price for a great location
Valet parking is rather expensive
Location of the hotel is great - it is literally 2 min walking distance from Times Sq. Rooms are rather small, but clean and cozy with big comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. There are 2 USB sockets to charge cell phones/tablet/cameras - good for travellers who don't have enough Europe-US adapters with them.
We booked 2 rooms for 5 nights and none of the rooms was cleaned during first 48 hours of stay. We had to ask about it for 3 times and on the second day they only changed the towels in one of the rooms. Every morning (for 4 days) we received a letter saying that there was a problem with a credit card, which was very annoying, especially taking into account that in fact there was no problem with payments and it was just a problem of their "system". For some reason they tried to charge us for a room twice and then they tried to hold an additional amount of money as a guarantee, which would've been fine if they'd charged 75 USD a day as they told us - in fact they tried to hold more than 500 USD for a few times. In the end it took us more than 2 hours to sort this out. The other thing is there was no water in the tap for a few hours in the afternoon (which we were notified about in advance, but it's still not very comfortable). Another issue is a water pump itself - it is extremely noisy. It's hard to sleep in the room while someone is taking a shower.
Location and standard of the rooms where excellent.
Size of room but to be expected. No real hotel bar or restaurant.
Very close to time square
Perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and neat rooms for the price in NYC.
No coffee and tea facilities in the rooms.
Located nice, splendid view, clean and modern
Staff, I had a problem with my luggage ( it was lost at delivery by air) and I informed all personal of hotel about it many times and said that airplane company would call them about it. But when airplane company called staff told that they don't know anything about it and me, I had to take it myself from airport ...
I liked the style of the hotel, the decor was lovely and stylish. The technology in the room is the future.
The technology was great a but little slow to perform functions. A little more space in the room would be nice.
The location is great. Staff were nice.. Modern room, nice shower.
The bed just sucks... very very uncomfortable.
Old, noisy and bad breakfast from 10a.m. in another place. World "luxury" is not for this hotel.
Best location Very good bed very clean
The staff were lovely and although the rooms were smaller than expected they were really clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is great and if you're not a light sleeper then this hotel would be somewhere I would highly recommend to stay.
The air-con !!! So noisy that I found it difficult to sleep....and the 'all rooms are sound proof' is just not true.
Great location. It was close to most things we wanted to see. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Will return but maybe to another hotel..
We passed hotel. Front was blocked so we had to park across the street. No one outside to greet you. When telling them we have a car they wanted us to move it to the front, I declined, it was hard enough finding the place. Room was dark and small. We paid for a suite felt more like a closet. Sunday has no breakfast at the hotel, which they should tell you when offering it. Check in 4pm?! Check out noon, you don't even get a day. Also valet 2 hours behind but hotel expects you to leave... I walked 5 blocks to the garage with my bags and got it myself! Thanks
The rooms were lovely and bed very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The free wifi in the hotel is an added bonus The hotel is in a great location near to Times square.
Nothing not to like
Location Price Wifi Comfy bed
Good location, friendly staff.
Room very small, no tea and coffee in room. No where to dry wet clothes. Wardrobe very small.
Attentive staff, rooms large for NY, quiet on high up floors, great cleanliness in room, shower excellent, bathroom overall great. Perfect room for what was needed!!
We'd emailed the hotel with a booking request. When we arrived to check in there was no knowledge of the request. The lady checking us in also tried to add us to another party of travellers. So checking in initially, not great. We did manage to get rooms near each other and a complementary gift to our room, (as had been confirmed by the manager in our emails prior to arrival). After a long journey it wasn't a great start, but the lady on reception did her best, was great and did help us.
Central, comfortable, friendly & extremely helpful staff. Brilliantly festive!!
Bed was comfortable, the wifi was reliable, the doormen were very friendly.
The room was too cramped, the bill was incorrect and took some sorting out. The way they continually debt your credit card everyday makes no sense and takes a lot of your limit pending for no apparent reason? Stayed 8 days and the room was suppose to be an executive suite, with a double bed and roll away there simply wasn't room to move
Excellent Hotel, Great Location, Staff Professional, Helpful & Polite.
Suggestion only - Tea & Coffee making facilities in room
Location is amazing and is within easy walking distance to Times Square, Rockefeller Centre, Radio City Music Hall, Grand Central Station and Central Park.
Reception area is very poor with no real lounge / waiting area.
Staf was very good. Bed was great. Location was very close to Times Square, theater and Rock center,
No bar or Restauant controlled by Hotel. No where to join clients for drinks or dinner at your Hotel. Had to plan otside of my location. Breakfast at "Butter" was a joke, nothing hot and service wsas bad. Rooms were very dark, Suggest they add lighting so you can get dressed, nuch less put on make-up. Arrangment of room was bad, had to find right combination of closing and opening doors to keep from banging them to go to bathroom or open closet. Np waiting area or lobby good for more than two people.
