Castle Kamaole Sands    

This is one of the best apartment hotels we've stayed in. And we stay in apartments always. Location is ideal for those visiting Maui, Hawaii. Though Lahaina area maybe more suitable for those who want activity. This is a quieter locality. The amenities offered by this apart-hotel are fabulous. The apartments are lavish and clean. Price are reasonable. However since this is an individual owned apartment hotel, the facilities are different in each apartment and u may not get all facilities u desire depending on the apartment. We had 4 rooms and one of them did not have an AC in the bedroom which is weird considering the hot climate of Hawaii. The AC was in the living room. However evening being pleasant, there was not too much discomfort. Cleaning is once a week, which should be increased. The staff is okay. One of the staff was little rude when we arrived during check-in. Though he became okay later, when we chastised him. Considering that this is Aloha land, that was surprising. The Kihei beach is nice but quiet. Lahaina is a livelier area. But if u want a quieter place, this apart-hotel is good.

Staff attitude is definitely not up to the mark. Should improve. Cleaning of apartments and change of linen should be done at least every 2 days.

Location and convenience

Our particular unit was out-dated:electrical wires stacked, ceiling fans broken, window air conditioner broken, no air circulation on 1st floor. Windows needed to be closed at night for security. Screens had holes.

the grounds are beautiful. Pool area very nice. Mai Tai Wednesday very nice. Location in Kihei great.

Check in not ready at 3:00 PM did not get in unit until 5:30 PM. Needs updating. Floor sticky, unit not clean. Film on glass tables, lanai table was very dirty. Lamps very dirty dusty. Overhead lite in kitchen hanging down. Toilet seat in Master bath has wear marks on it. Slight urine smell in master bathroom. Big hole in beach towel. Beach chair broken. I was updated to a 2 bedroom but do not know why. i booked a one bedroom ocean view. Very very dis-satisfied for the price. I did turn in these items to the office on the form.

Floors were dirty even when washed by us or cleaning staff still dirty amenities such as salt/pepper a few spices for bbq scissors foil paper only had 3 lanai chairs (shud be 4 ) only 3 soup bowls (shud be 4) no desert bowls , no cardboard recycle location , we are used to condos with more amenities for less money

Location, size,quality of furnishings, grounds

Elevator broke down 2nd day and was not yet repaired when we left 5 days later. Unit needed a thorough cleaning, gets a "hotel" style cleaning but needs to have flat surfaces, fan blades, behind and under furniture cleaned. Air purifiers not sufficient for allergy sufferers with dust built up on decorations. The internet in the unit was a secure spot and owners didnt leave the password. The pool signal was too weak and we had to go to the pool to connect. The building was old and small items breaking down( I.E.- door handle, sink strainer). Only 2 rolls bathroom tissue for 3 bathrooms.

Our unit was very clean, modern, and felt like home.

Beautiful grounds, assigned parking, location

Furniture in 2-401 was worn out wood on tops of furniture was water stained and looked less good than a thrift store. For the money charged for this unit the

I stayed in one of the suits which was good value as I stayed for 9 nights. The suits are all different as they are individually owned, mine was very nice with a garden view. Well equipped kitchen, roomy, air conditioning. Email in the room if you have a laptop, if not, free computer access in foyer. Bus stop outside hotel, beach across road.

Location across a very nice beach and close to many amenities. Lush landscaping, spacious apartment with everything we needed. Free Wi-Fi in our apartment!

One relatively small pool for quite a lot of people, I assume it gets extremely busy during school vacations! Also, check the information on the various listing sites- it lists payments for certain things that ended up being free, which is wonderful of course, but it's nice to be fully informed before going.

I loved my stay there. I only wish it was a little less expensive. I would love to bring my Daughter and Grandson to Maui and stay with you all. Is there any way your rate would be less than $192.00 per night. Look forward to hearing from someone. Mahalo

we really enjoyed the conception of the appartment which was fully equipped and the price was good compared to all facilities offered .

maybe the 25 dollars fee for registration as we did not use at all the facilities offered for that

La struttura stessa degli alloggi, sembra di entrare in un club esclusivo. La posizione vicina alla spiaggia, i giardini ben curati, la piscina e tutti i servizi annessi (palestra, campo da tennis, barbecue).

Das Appartement war sehr gut eingerichtet, die Lage direkt am Meer und an einem Beach Park ideal.

Il complesso e' bellissimo e ben tenuto, l'appartamento di due stanze piu' cucina e doppi servizi semplicemente perfetto! Ci sono persino le zone con i barbecue a disposizione dei "condomini". La spiaggia e' giusto dall'altra parte della strada, ed affaccia dal lato del tramonto.

Logement spacieux, calme

The location is across the street from a quaint public beach. The expansive grounds were well maintained and beautiful.

The unit was extremely dated with horrible artwork and furniture and old rusty appliances and patio furniture. . But most of all the unit was very dirty: glass surfaces greasy windows filthy and cloth furniture was greasy. No towels were provided at check in and the one cleaning was only provided upon demand.

It is in a great location. The sea breezes in the evening were wonderful. It was also quiet, peaceful, & very relaxing. Shopping & etc. were close.

The elevators kept braking down during our stay. I understand from some other guests that this is a constant thing. We were there for 14 days & the elevator was out off & on for 4 days. We are both handicap & could not make the stairs. So we just stayed in. The assigned parking was very far from the building #5.Another difficulty for handicap. Handicap parking was farther away from building #5.

Lugar tranquilo longe do agito de Maui. O hotel é feito para longas férias pois o quarto tem de tudo, até lavar roupa e secadora, cozinha e grande sala. Na parte externa tem até churrasqueira. Recomendo ficar uns bons dias para desfrutar dos serviços disponíveis. Recomendo.

As vagas para estacionamento são demarcadas e eventualmente a sua pode ser longe da entrada do seu bloco.

Location and gardens. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Our unit Bldg.9 #404 was not updated and on the outside of the property so we faced another complex and lane. It was not worth $249 plus taxes per night for 2 people.
