Great location: 2-3 minute walk to Waikiki.
Loved the hotel room, the view, and that the room had a fridge!
Our toilet made a very loud screeching noise every time we flushed, but it wasn't a huge deal. I had to log into the internet every time I used it.
I enjoyed the location, staff.
The rooms are tired but neat. The only real problem was the noise from the pool area late at night, the neighbors and the major road below. The windows are the horizontal slat design and that may explain some of the load sounds?
lovely location on the edge of waikiki - walking distance from all the shops and a block from the beach, However as it is on the edge of town it had breathtaking (and unspoiled) views of diamond head. Brilliant
Location and friendly staff, including valet staff!!
Reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good.
When we arrived in taxi, the bellhop sat at his desk chatting with 2 other staff and did nothing to assist us with our bags. I was very surprised.
Pool area was the best part of the hotel and the amazing view of Diamondhead and the ocean.
Elevator took forever and was broken inside where you couldn't see the floor numbers as you went up and down. The staff was not friendly. The restaurant never seemed to be open. Old hotel that was upgraded with a nice pool deck.
The price was great for the quality of the room and the view was awesome. Huge windows, some of which opened to let in a wonderful draft of tropical air. Nice little balcony as well. Nothing 'fancy' but clean and comfortable and totally satisfactory for non snobby folk.
My view might be a bit biased since the view from our room was amazing. The hotel is in a great location. Our room was clean but a bit outdated which didn't matter since we had a wraparound balcony with a great view of the city and the entire ocean. Great restaurant on 6th floor facing the Diamond Head and some of the ocean with reasonably priced food that tasted great.
The only thing I didn't like is that we booked a full ocean view room and at first were given a partial but after calling and complaining they quickly fixed that and gave us a much better room.
Staff were very friendly ,pool area was great ,good location
Having an early flight in arriving at hotel expected to Wait for a room but waited over 8 hours was abit ridiculous
Clean and basic accommodations in a good location. The little patio was nice and there were 2 luggage holders. The bell boys were very friendly and helpful.
We were right by the elevator and it was quite noisy.
Just really enjoyed our stay
I traveled with a group of friends and hotel staff arranged it so we were all on the same floor which was great!
They need ice machines on every floor rather than only 2 or 3 floors
Friendly staff and free room upgrade. Nice dinner at a great price. Very clean room
Breakfast buffet was over priced when somewhere else. Breakfast was more expensive then my prime rib dinner
-Nice pool area- very spacious. Could always get a chair. -Friendly staff. -Very close to beach.
-Wifi not working well- kept losing the wifi connection- had to keep reconnecting by manually entering username and password- very annoying. -Pool temperature quite cold. Would have been ok if they had a hot tub to warm up in but there is no hot tub. -They have highchairs in restaurant but the straps/buckles are broken. Had to constantly hold baby to make sure she didn't fall out or climb out.
Terrace with pool
Room size, bad bed no place to sit and n0 table
Friendly helpful staff Great location Happy hour Very affordable Spacious room Close to beach
Air conditioning a bit on the noisy side
Close to beach Quite location next to park and zoo Beautiful view of Diamond head Free Wifi!!! Friendly staff and great service Clean and neat
Great value for money Great location Beautiful views
Foyer is tired looking needs new furniture
Location awsome. Room clean, and staff very helpful and nice
View of Diamond head. Proximity to the beach. Value!!
There was nothing we did no like about this hotel.
-3 blocks away from a nice area of the beach (right across the road) -Nearby restaurants, shops, etc.
-Fluctuating water temps with the faucet and the shower
Never had a hotel with a room so clean and so friendly service I can say the same of their restaurant!
Valet parking was convenient. No other place to park.
Overpriced. Especially the valet, although it was overpriced.
