    Been here many times.

Been here many times. I enjoy each stay and wish I could stay longer. Many stores are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (why I have no idea). THE place to go for breakfast is Country Vittles. Excellent to go. Have never been there for lunch because I was so full from breakfast. Cherokee Nation is only about a half hour away, Franklin Ruby City Museum about an hour, Thermal City Gold Mine about an hour away

We stayed off season so it was quiet.

We stayed off season so it was quiet. Some places were not open. We went out of town to eat. But it was a small cute town that I would recommend to stay if you want to stay away from all the other stuff around the Great Smoky mountain it was a farther drive but if you have the time to do it I would recommend staying in Maggie valley. I enjoyed our putt-putt golf.

    I absolutely love Maggie Valley.

I absolutely love Maggie Valley. This was my 4th trip this year. Great laid back town. If you enjoy small town vibes, then this is a great place to visit. Country Vittles has a great breakfast menu and Maggie Valley Restaurant has great food also.

Loved everything about our trip-from the amazing cottage to the unbelievable elk viewing. The local restaurants were perfect. Loved the privacy and yet the closeness to everything. Will definitely come back very soon!

    So many things to see.

So many things to see. The Indian heritage with museums was great. Views galore no matter which way you go and plenty of small unique dining experiences everywhere. We love the winding roads, views and that hotels allow you to park under their entranceways. How thoughtful for those of us who forget to bring covers. Love the shops, we have our favorites and love the people who explain who made what we buy, where they are, how long they've known them and how our money helps. Great leather products too.

first and foremost the lovely lady at the front desk greeted us so warmly, and when we told her we were there to snowboard she immediately said to just let her know if we needed a later check out to accommodate the hours we were going snowboarding the following day! the room was quaint and cozy, perfect for our one night adventure! the other guest were very respectful and quiet as well the creek behind the room was lovely! we can not wait to go back to Maggie Valley and we will definitely be staying at the Stoney Creek Motel every time

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. All we needed to bring was our food and clothing. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a single serve Keurig but we always bring our own. Linens provided as well. A great place to unwind and enjoy our trip to Maggie Valley. We really liked the location. Shaun was a great host, very friendly and helpful. We especially liked his kitty Sig!

This hotel does not look like much from the outside and can certainly use some curb appeal. However the rooms are extremely neat and clean and the beds are comfortable. If you're looking for an extravagant fancy hotel this is not it, if you're looking for a neat, clean, affordable hotel near Maggie Valley this is it!

Out of all the hotels on the strip, this one had the best curb appeal when we were driving there. Once we pulled up we were very happy to see how well it was maintained. Close to everything on the strip and the micro-brewery next door was a bonus too. Would stay there again in a minute. Thank you!

Very comfortable and located in the heart of Maggie Valley. The owner checked me in and could not have been nicer. They provide towels specifically for wiping down your motorcycle in the morning. This will be my “base of operations” the next time I’m in Maggie Valley.
