Catamount Motel  

It's cheap. While the facilities are dated and the place is old fashioned it's functional and clean. It's located perfectly.

Street noise. But that was cancelled out by the wall AC which drowned it out.

Dirty Shower curtains, mold, mildew, stale odor in room, From people talking outside, couldnt get any sleep. Over priced.

One floor, parked right by the door

Picked it from on line. After visiting the city it is one of the poorest maintained motels I saw. Linens were clean, bath was clean, carpets were not. First impression was that the room had an unpleasant odor that never went away.

Short walk to town

You get wat you pay for. Towels not clean. Bed smelt like feet

Close proximity to hospital where my daughter was having her baby. Did have refrigerator and microwave in room.

Old, dated, not clean!

It was the only place at which I could find a vacancy on that particular night.

The room was adequate but it was shabby and I didn't feel the bedspread and blanket was really clean.

Wifi did not work, stayed two nights did not make up the room had to go to office for next day towels.

The location was good, just a mile from the center of town. The room was clean and the beds good. Good WiFi connectivity. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The motel is dated and in need of upgrading. The pool was out of commission and the grounds overgrown. This property needs a freshening up and new management.

A solid value, reasonably priced room, clean and very friendly staff. I needed something and they responded quickly. YOu get what you pay for here just with a little extra attention and kindness which is good to see. The only thing I would hope they could improve is channel selection on the TV....a few more basic cable channels would be nice. Thx

Das Motel, äußerlich recht ansehnlich, zeigte sich von innen schmutzig und abgewohnt. In der Kaffemaschine waren der zuletzt benutzte Kaffepad und altes Wasser. Das Zimmer stank indifferent. Empfehlung gilt nur für dringende Fälle.

Convenient location with adequate accommodation. Staff friendly. If you need rest it is ok.

Nothing to like about

Bad service, the price I booked for this motel is $103 including the tax, I told them this price during checkin, the manager was not even looked at my email, and told me there is another tax on top of that, because the price Is EXCLUDING the tax, I argued that the contract with booking.com says the tax is included, she still tried to argue with me without even checking my email... finally they found out the final price is what i said, then she accused me getting confused, really bad attitude! About the room, it is really dirty, and smells. never seen such a badly maintained motel room, the toilet was stuck, and water was coming out of it... It was really a waste of my money on such a low end motel!

Near to town, on main road

Dirty walls & ceiling. Plumbing, lights not working properly. Sheets not changed daily. Blankets dirty. Furniture old.

Not very clean. towels stained, blankets dirty, bathroom sink faucet broken. had to ring disk bell 4 times to get response.

It was conveniently located being a short walk from the CBD of Bennington, no steps to climb with suitcases and the bed was comfortable.

We had to turn on the fridge when we got into the room, which turned out to be because the thermostat was not working so it ran constantly, and the shampoo dispenser was empty.

The receptionist/staff was courteous, efficient, and hospitable. She should be commended. The towels and sheets were clean. The place was dusted and vacuumed.

The room had a strange odor. The sheets were very rough ... 100 thread count. The shower had mold stains that was not a bleach/ scrubbing issue, but some of the grout need to be replaced.

A well equipped room and quite confortable.

The bathroom was not clean. The price is relatively high compared to other motels.

Bed was fairly comfortable with what appeared to be clean linens.

70s chic. No tub, shower curtain had mold on bottom. Fridge didn't work. Chairs in room were stained. I guess for sleeping it was OK. Definitely no frill!!!
