The only real complaints we had were the discovery of some ants in the room and not having enough toilet paper even after the room was cleaned. The ants, I think, are mostly a matter of the location of the hotel. The rooms could be more thoroughly cleaned and deodorized.
The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, and very accommodating. The location of the hotel is in close proximity to Hunter Mountain, where my friends and I were attending a concert. It took about 10 minutes to get to and from the area. The hotel was quiet and reasonably comfortable. Other reviews of this hotel describe a somewhat run-down, outdated place that wasn't 100% clean. I would say that's accurate; this is not a pristine, chain hotel, and if you're looking for a five star spa experience, you wouldn't book here. However, the price was fair, the beds were clean and pretty comfortable, the air conditioner worked, the TV worked, the upstairs deck was lovely, and the shower had adequate pressure.
I would stay there again in the future.
