    Location is perfect, and the atmosphere in the lobby was really nice.

    The room was old, small and dirty, and the prices in the hotel restaurant was to expensive. There was no Wifi in our room. Tiny and dirty bathroom.

    The location in front line at Ocean Drive is excellent. The hotel also has a vintage brass-gate elevator from 1935, which is a pleasure to se operate.

    The wifi did not work one single moment during our stay, in spite of the fact that we asked the staff every time we passed the front desk. According to staff, the hotel had been sold for $11.000.000, and renovation was going on at the ground level.

    The Location it was right on the strip

    The staff was very rude eveytime we asked for water they were so rude and not wanna give us towels, to get towels and wash clothes was just a no go.. The bathroom was horrible the room horrible. if you just need a closet to change clothes thats the only thing it is good for otherwise very very poor

    I liked the restaurant staff & the breakfast.

    I did not like the front desk manager because he just wasn't friendly at all. The room was very small & dirty at all times. I had requested a refrigerator because of a medication that needed to be refrigerated & he acted like he was going to get me one everyday & he never did. I was ignored. I ended up keeping my medication on ice the days that I stayed. over all it was just not a good place to stay at & it shouldn't be on booking.com because it gives the web site a bad reputation.

    Staff was friendly, location is the best.

    They were working on ceiling in the lobby the first night we were there, my room was close to the lobby.

    The location

    The bed, they don't give enough towels,bathroom was so small so horrendous painted, only one tiny trash can, the sheets were so cheap and uncomfortable, and room didn't have enough light to put makeup. Every time someone flush the toilet in the building the water get hot in the shower.

    The two front desk clerks Noel and Juan ....were great as well as the remaining staff. Food was delicious.

    THE OWNER very arrogant and unperceptive the issues that we had during our stay. We had no AC during the whole stay and he did not seem to care at all. The hotel is totally breaking every building code and the hotel is very unsafe if there were to be a fire. It appears they are remodeling but this place was a joke and it should be shut down just for the safety of the guests.

    The pictures on Booking.com must have been taken 30 years ago. It's false advertising. The hotel is very old. Our room was terrible. It was like being in a basement. Live wires hanging in closet. No light bulbs in lamps. Bathroom was size of a small closet. Shades on window couldn't be raised. Hallways were dirty. Restaurant doesn't open until 10am and you can't even get a cup of coffee. Hotel is under renovation and in my opinion, they should close the place until finished. We stayed one night and moved to another hotel.

    The convient location was fine. The place was clean. The rooms are being redone or recently being done with most of the work completed. The ocean was right across the street. Great choice of resturants close by as well in hotel.

    I came with my car, no valet service available which was very inconvenient. Bathrooms were very small and rooms were very small, not much room for other then sleeping. No room to sit for more then one unless you sat on the bed. Elevator out of service, had to clean to my room. Front desk personnel nice but not customer service oriented. Wish I had booked a different hotel overall for the value spent it would have been much more worth an extra $10.00 for the size of the room and covenience of the valet.

    Rooms seemed to be in the middle of renovations but were clean.

    The service provided by the gentleman from Argentina at the Front Desk. The server who helped us get our food right away as we had to leave with our shuttle.

    The lady at the front desk (overnight) we as for water and it seemed like we were bothering her. She gave us the water but it was an unpleasant moment

    there is nothing good about this hotel

    cleaning crew is rude and do not clean your room, i had to clean it myself. they told i will get credit since the cleaning person did not clean my room but they all lie.

    The manager was very accomodating. The room was funky / art deco old fashioned cool. But no one better ever complain much after spending 70.00 for a hotel on Ocean Drive in South Beach! Awesome!

    It should be mentioned to people who have trouble climbing steps that they have to climb at least 10 very steep steps to get to the first floor. The elevator was broken so others had to climb much farther. Even though the vintage look was great the desk between the beds was broken and slanted and you couldn't put anything on it. The bathtub is also at least 25% smaller than a regular bathtub. When I got up I asked about sitting outside to enjoy the day. The inside staff said fine but the hostess outside (no outside seating that is not a restaurant) said that if I wanted to sit at a table (only 2 people there at that time) I would have to order something and then leave when it got busy. (This was 11:00 am) So I ordered a club soda and, being South Beach it was 6.00, and when I got up to leave at 12:00 there were still only 2 people. The hostess actually sniffed as if rebuffed when I left. The wi-fi was very slow and cut in and out and I finally ended up using my 4g.

    Fantastic location, right on the beach in the Art Deco Quarter. Great value for money and nice and clean rooms. Whilst not super new, the Art Deco gives it character

    Nothing, perhaps the Wifi-strengh, which did not reach to the second floor, but was fine at lobby.

    the housekeeper never came to clean my room and she told she had no time to clean. Front desk told me he would refund some money back since i had to clean my own room but they never did. I don't recommand this hotel since you would have to clean your own room..Please don't believe anything the manager tell you because all they do is lie.............very unhappy with this hotel
