Spacious room. Clean. Fridge in room useful. In door pool lovely.
Food was fair. Breakfast not included. Location a bit far from park but the drive is scenic.
The room was clean and a good size. The breakfast buffet was the only choice. The close location to Yosemite is the primary reason we stayed- only 7 miles to the entrance
The room had very limited tv channel choices, and wifi would not be a choice, but no internet or cell service available.
location was excellent and we took the shuttle bus into the park, which was very handy. I enjoyed the "beach" area along the Merced River.
We reserved a room with two double beds - a simple room quoted at $169. WE were given an apartment which we did not need. We were charge $200 for each night for the apartment. We reserved our room in March and did not expect to pay this addition fee.
The jacuzzi was a nice touch.
The bed was much too hard for my liking.
We liked the hotel overall : big room, comfy beds, and a big bathroom with a bubble bath. We slept wonderful. When not sleeping in Yosemite Village, this is the next best thing if your talking about location.
- Rooms very dark, bit dusty and outdated - Restaurant was not very good, staff unprofessional (one of them we saw lying on the dirty floor near the kitchen wearing his apron, seemed pretty unhygienic - No WIFI included. Paid for it but was ridiculously slow - No breakfast included. Paid for it every morning Considering the previous two remarks, the price is just WAY too high for what you get, but I guess that counts for everything in and around Yosemite. All in all an average experience for the price we paid.
no Wifi / no breakfast
We stayed in a room with a whirlpool hot tub. It was excellent relaxation after climbing about in Yosemite. The staff were friendly and concerned about providing us accommodations that met our needs.
1)There's not cell phone reception. Guests are charged for WiFi. 2)The indoor pool is visible (through large glass windows) from the parking lot. Consequently, work crews spent the evening eye-balling the female swimmers who were visibly uncomfortable with the ogling. 3) The restaurant's menu does not cater to those of us who watch our diets. And, is wholly over-priced for its mediocrity.
The hotel is in a perfect location and the room was of a good size.
The food at the hotel was very over-priced and of fairly poor quality. There were a lot of signs on walls and doors that were very negative in content. The rooms were shabby. We generally felt there was a take it or leave it attitude
there was no one aviable that speaked Spanish at the time of my arrival
Close proximity to Yosemite - about 20 minutes from the Valley Floor. Convenience store connected to the lobby. Large food portions at the on-site bar/grill.
I like location to Yosemite, and value or money
Location was fairly convenient to park and the setting was very nice.
Nothing more than the usual older motel room.
Good location Friendly and efficient staff Large bathroom with lots of counter space
Breakfast, although good, was not included
Proximity to Yosemite national park
The Restaurant was fully booked so we had to use the diner where the food was very expensive with poor choice and quality. The buffet breakfast was very expensive. With no other options available, we ended up getting a coffee and bagel from the local gas station.
Extra Fee for WiFi Not a really good restaurant
Hi. The hotel room was really big and somehow designer managed to fit one of the smallest bathroom I ever seen. Wi -Fi is 9$ per device per 24hrs which is most expensive and slowest I ever had. Food in the bar isn't good, however beer is cheep. Overall this place isn't bad, but very little effort could turn it into very good.
The pool is great. The spa tub was nice also.
No free wifi. An independent company charges $20 for 24 hrs and the connection is very slow.
It is close to yosemite
Very overpriced for an ordinary hotel.
Close to the Park entrance. Rooms have a balcony with table and chairs and lovely views. Take-away food service so able to eat on our balcony. Good sized swimming pool.
Overpriced for average quality motel with no breakfast provided and no free WiFi. Food in the cafeteria mainly greasy 'fast food' (although the salad bar was good).
clean and confortable room. Good location near Yosemite entrance.
The room price didn't include breakfast or free wi-fi.
Location, park close to room
No free wifi, unacceptable today. Food offering and surroundings very poor, unfriendly staff. The lady who checked us in had a sense of humour bypass and spoke in whispers. The restaurant staff were indifferent to our complaints of cold vegetables.
Location of the Cedar Lodge was good for access to entrance to Yosemite Valley and various Yosemite activities; guest services at front desk as well as cleaning staff were efficient and professional.
Quality of the food at the Lodge's restaurant was only fair; breakfast limited to buffet, and eggs, bacon, biscuits were over cooked; dinner entrees were tasteless; value of food was only fair given taste and cost; bed mattress too soft for our comfort;
Mattresses need to be replaced.
location not too far from Yosemite valley. Rooms are generally available often.
Wireless internet is not available for free. Showers are tricky with hot/cold temps. No free breakfast.
