Bed blanket is not clean
Spacious rooms with kitchenette an unexpected bonus. Quick to Yosemite gate. Nice restaurant - didn't try bar.
clean value for money excellent location for Yosemite
meals are via bar - separate to hotel. Quality of food (particularly breakfast) is not great.
Large establishment and rooms, good position
We dined there and the restaurant was of low quality. The room was very big but the bedroom had poor lighting. The outside pool was not clean, and despite the promise, no pool towels were provided. But, you know, you essentially go there because of Yosemite.
Cleaning staff and the young lady in the grocery store were very friendly.
The desk staff ( 3 persons ) were in the middle of a personal conversation when I arrived. I stood there for about two minutes until my presence was recognized. The old adage of not getting a second chance to make a first impression comes to mind.
Convenient for Yosemite. About 30 minutes drive. Go early to find parking (by 9am). It is like a resort with a bar, restaurant, pool, lots of families, very busy. Staff were helpful. Room very spacious and clean.
Food on-site average to poor.
It's a good choice out of the Yosemite National Park
Location was excellent for short drive to entrance of Yosemite, however there are no other facilities around the motel, so you are reliant on it for everything. Across the road is a small beach where you can paddle in the river, very pretty area. Our room was large, and air con worked well if a little noisy, TV very bad reception.
We arrived just as a large forest fire was starting close by and within 30 minutes the motel power went off. Staff had no idea what was going on and were not very interested in our concerns. There weren't enough staff to deal with the number of people staying, with long queues for breakfast and dinner. The hot buffet style breakfast was not very appealing. Continental was ok. Everything felt a bit old and dirty.
Location to Yosemite was convenient. Restaurant, lounge, pools and general store very helpful to have on premises especially not a lot of anything in the vicinity. Room was clean and the air conditioner was an added bonus in 100 degree smear weather. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling into Yosemite. We had a really nice time.
Friendly, helpful staff. Large comfortable room. Good facilities.
Noisy air con.
Room cleanliness restaurants nearby
no WIFI included
Proximity to Yosemite
Restaurant food quality was very disappointing
Location peace and quiet and a good bar. Staff were really good
Pool furniture was outdated and broken and in sufficient for the number of guests
- Good staff at the welcome desk. - The restaurant of the hotel is pretty good with nice staff. - 10-15 minutes by car from the Yosemite entrance - River access in front of the hotel (on the other side of the road) but we didn't try.
- The room didn't seem that clean, we found some dirt/items under the beds. - The swimming pool was dirty. - The bar had a power failure the day before our arrival BUT still proposed refrozen melted ice cream !!! Not very healthy... Despite our notice, the staff kept selling the ice creams...
Two pools, restaurant, nice set up, landscaping.
Besides getting there too late and having to leave too early and not enjoying it as much as I'd have liked? We expected it to be closer to the town as we came out of Yosemite. Stopped to get gas and I went to the little store which had a notice posted on the door that the lodge was 5 miles further so we weren't the only ones asking :)
Big room with great air con. Good location as near to Yosemite as well as being set by the Merced river so very picturesque. Staff very helpful. Diner and bar were OK - suited what we wanted.
No effective wifi.
The bathroom and towels were not very clean. There is only one restaurant around. It is expensive and the food is mediocre.
Near the park (yosemite)
Too expensive . Breakfast was not included. Dark room.
The hot tubo not working, the wifi very Expensive not incluse and not working good, at 6am the telephone ring many time and we wake up in scary! The breakfast not incluse very Expensive and start very very late 7:15am. Bad experience!!
Clean rooms. Good place
Rooms are comfortable, outside decking is a great space for the evenings, kids loved the pools.
The prices in the restaurant and grill were on the steep side. Having said that the hole area is pricey.
Rooms - spacious and nicely appointed Location - perfect Atmosphere
Food - not a lot of choice and pretty low standard
Location near to the park
Fairly dated with old noisy air conditioning. No wifi as standard. Expensive but unsurprising considering its proximity to the park
Rooms were OK - comfortable and clean.
A lot of people complaining about paying for the internet. We didn't buy it - a blessing really with 3 teenage daughters. But free wifi is the norm in most hotels these days.
ridiculously expensive food yet almost nothing to eat (breakfast buffet);
