Overall good room for the price
A little noisy, had to walk around someone sitting on stairs smoking to get to my car in the morning.
Room was clean and staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable.
Didn't realize the part of town it was in, too many bars close by. The number of people who seemed to be "living" at the motel was a little disconcerting. Was surprised they didn't come at least pick up garbage after the first night.
The value was great?
When you walked in the room there was a very unpleasant smell and it was not the paper mill smell.
Very poor area of town, I think you could rent rooms by the hour.
-Price -We got the second night comped -Were given a roll-away for the first night -Convenient to fast food and stores -beds were decent, linens were clean
-used rag in the bathroom -we reserved two rooms only got one. -We had to MOVE furniture around to fit the roll-away -the motel employee wouldn't help and said "why should I move frunture" broken door jam and extra lock -cracked bathroom tiles -Area smells due to Mills in the area
Bedspread was stained with blood, no hairdryer, no ironing board, paint peeling in bathroom. tv was tiny. Had to wait in car till 12:30am for drunks to get away from our door so we could get in.
House keeper eating breakfast at one Of two tables. Had To ask for waffle batter, too long of wait, and acted like he was being imposed on.
The bathroom looked like it wasn't swept in months and the bed spreads had stains on it.it looked like it wasn't vacuumed in months and the microwave couldn't even reach plug had to move micro wave on to sink to use it..it was very dirty hotel pool even looked un unusable. .very sad
Booked 2 rooms only had 1 available. Pics are deceiving. Loud location
The outside of the hotel was filled with 6-7 scary looking people just milling around. This scared me as I needed to get ice and a few extra pillows. I didn't think I would stay there again because of safety. A scateboarder kept riding up and down the side walk and knocking on doors again & again.
With 100* temps outdoors, the effective air conditioning ran all day bringing the room temp down so we could sleep easily at night. Staff and guests were friendly and the waffle breakfast was just right. An excellent value and a comfortable place to stay for three days centered in downtown Lewiston.
No complaints––all our needs were well met. Some noise at night but even that came to a blessed hault at midnight. Grounds were kept clean and safe. Good work Cedars!
Comfort of the bed.
Staff did not have name tags or uniforms. Many people outside of the hotel "hanging" around. Small breakfast area, had difficulties keeping the coffee dispensers available for other guests. Many doors had handles removed off. Room appeared "tired" and in need of a renovation.
The price couldn't be beat. No problems and the staff was very accommodating. The location was good and there was no noise problem.
Continental breakfast was a joke!
The room was clean, smelled good. Bed comfortable. Fridge and microwave a plus. Good variety of tv channels. Liked TBN.Quiet.
No hot water for shower on Monday morning. Maintenance came. Was there 3 minutes and left without saying a single word. We had no idea what was going on. We waited about 15 minutes and he never came back. Extremely rude. Finally took a cold shower. Husband didnt take one. Pool was closed. No blowdryer. Take care. God bless.
Staff was friendly
The room had dirt in the harder to reach areas like next to the beds. Beds were in bad shape
Mattress was stained and carpet was stained. Old. Needs to be updated or at the very least cleaned much better. We are not too picky, but this was a place I would not go back to. Sorry.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom had lose tiles so the door wouldn't close. The carpets are very old and are in need replacement at the very least a serious cleaning.
I felt like I had gone back to east side Chicago... loud rap music, tatoo's, facial hardware, profanity... rooms were dirty and smelly... couldn't bring myself to climb between the sheets... a definite nay-nay on this one...
Large clean room
the room was available, and the only way I was able to get a place to stay on those dates.
This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed in. The 'non-smoking' room reeked of old stale smoke, the ashtray right outside the door was full, and the space outside the door reeked of vomit. I was so sickened by the facilities that I left in the middle of the night to escape the foul odors. There was fighting, screaming, yelling noise from the nearby bar crowd until the bar closed at 2 a.m. It was a disaster of a motel that I wouldn't recommend to anyone in anyway.
That the motel was in close area to where I needed to be.. the staff was helpful when trying to find a room for me that fit me best. It was quiet enough for my stay. Easy enough parking, room was big enough. Overall experience was good ..
To much commotion with people's animals running loose on grounds with no leashes and going after other people's pets.. The bath towels are not big enough to cover ones body. Makes it hard for bigger people to dry off.. and room had a strong smell of cleaning products that lingered ..other than that my stay was good..
The staff was exceptional.
Door could be a little tricky.
Nice staff very helpful and friendly
The room was gross. It smelled bad, really bad, the comforters were stained, box spring broken and disgusting, the mattress sucked. The shower was yucky. Power cords/ strips just hanging out in plain sight. The door didn't shut all the way tightly, and the secondary security lock was completely gone. I found lots of hair on my pillows. I did not complain because I was in town for moms weekend at WSU and literally everything else was booked. Seriously debated sleeping in my car. I felt dirty and ripped off money wise. I do not mind some mid comfort for a decent price, but this was just gross. I should have been paid to stay there, not charged.
