view of oak creek
The rooms are a little dated, but we were out and about so much it didn't matter. Very relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch the sun rise and set over the view of the red rocks. Good central location to walk to the shops and restaurants. Walked to Hideaway House last night, the food was excellent and we ate outside on the patio right above the creek.
The sheets are old and stretched out so each night the bottom sheets kept slipping off at the corner and if you turn much in your sleep you end up sleeping on the mattress. Would have liked more than 2 bath towels for 2 people in a room. Office was not open when we discovered this, so we made do with what we had.
Our room at Cedars Resort was the best !! Our balcony view of the surrounding mountains of Sedona was very peaceful. Staff and cleanliness were tops We'd certainly stay on a return trip !
Location was excellent Beautiful vista of the red rock mountains.
Ice machine was located in the office. Had a problem and had to be moved, no help with the moving. It was comfortable but "resort" was a bit over the top for a room the size of a Day's Inn.
The view from the balcony was beautiful especially when combined with the sound of the nearby stream. The location was good having lots of places to visit not too far whichever way you go. Room was a fair size, bed was comfortable. And Pago's pizza was delicious definitely a must go for our next visit!
A little outdated but not too bad, and a bug by the sink did freak out my fiancée in the morning lol
From just the view alone all the stress from life melted away
Within walking distance of multiple shops Great view from room Private balcony Nice pool & spa
No breakfast offered
Great location. Friendly staff. Beautiful views.
The hotel seemed a little dirty and they didn't inform us that the creek was closed do to bacteria levels in the water being to high. That is a lot of reason why travelers go to Sedona. I would have waited to go up when the creek was open.
Spectacular scenic mountain views in close proximity to Cedars Resort. The soothing sound of Oak Creek Canyon. Sparkling pool and Jacuzzi. Parking. Location. Thick walls in between rooms. Warm greetings from hotel rep.
Black hair and what appeared to be human DNA in light blue blanket. Ugly/dirty shag carpet. Poor bathroom layout and fixtures. Headboard and decorative bath window were thick with dust. Room wasn't cooled upon arrival with my advanced reservation and phone call. Dirty bath mat in tub. Toilet? One can only imagine. Dated linens. Stained bench.
Location,view of snoopy rock,pool
The view from our room was beautiful. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to numerous restaurants and shops from the hotel. The room and grounds were lovely. The trail down to the river was a family favorite. At night we were able to leave the sliding door open to the balcony and listen to the river that we overlooked.
The management leaves much to be desired. Our room was not ready until 4pm even though check-out was at 11am. It seems they should make the rooms with a reservation a priority. Only one of the 4 employees that we interacted with was friendly. There were many small details around the grounds that should have been addressed. Such as building materials in plain sight and w wheelbarrow falling down the hill.
We were making a late arrival due to wildfires in te area and they called toake sure that we were ok and going to make it. Made alternative arrangements to pick up the key.
Poor, dated decor; bed springs were extremely loud in room above us (you get my drift); hot tub not working properly; room smelled bad; and male cleaning employees lingered outside door drinking sodas/talking until we left to check out.
View from room amazing Pool & hot tub beautiful Excellent location
Shag carpet Bedding AC blew directly on bed Hard pillows Room needs updating
View from bakcony
Extremily poor wifi. Just a motel with a view for which you pay 180 usd, way overpriced Very unfriendly service Small pool.
My favorite place to stay in Sedona because of location, view and price. Also the staff is wonderful, helpful and accommodating.
The location was perfect. Walking distance to tons of shops and places to eat. Great views of Oak Creek Canyon and the red rocks from balcony. Pool and hot tub were very nice.
Very dated decor. Room we got did not look like website picture. Cheap 80's furniture and brass lamps. Very loud AC unit. Man who checked us in was kind of rude (fake smile) like we were bothering him. Bed was very hard and we both woke up very sore. Extremely tiny bottles of shampoo. Barely enough for my husbands short hair, forget mine. Towels and robes were very rough and scratchy.
Staff was so helpful, friendly and accommodating...thank you Rick! Beautiful location with amazing patio, pool & hot tub.
Great location and views. Lovely pool area.
Rooms are tired and need a makeover.
Location great, beautiful views of Red rocks and we could hear the stream babbling while in our room.
Bathroom was clean but could be updated in the near future.
The property is within walking distance of the main shopping area. The room had a balcony with a great view of the canyon and the red rocks. The price was great for the area and the location.
The room is a bit dated and dark. The bath and dressing area were very small - but certainly usable.
Great views from the property, especially the pool. They probably have the best pool view for the price. The location is perfect because you are in between old and west Sedona. The fact that they have creek access is a bonus too.
Nothing of note. It is a simple hotel with a great view. If you took away the view, the hotel probably wouldn't be worth reviewing. But that view makes it worth it in my opinion.
Great location. Really central room beautiful
The view from the balcony. Sitting on the balcony watching the sun come up over the mountains was amazing as well as hearing the water flow down the stream just below us. This was very relaxing.
We were in a lower unit and could hear every move the the people above us made. Including hearing the toilet flush. I swear you could hear them roll over in bed. Office building is closed from 10pm till 7am. They ran out of coffee and it took awhile to make more. Pathetic attempt at having a simple bagel and coffee breakfast.
The location was excellent and the rooms were clean.
The staff was rude on the phone prior to arrival and also rude throughout the stay. We didn't even get a "thank you for staying with us please come again" ???
