Century Hotel South Beach  

Location is great if you want to hang out in South Beach, people at the hotel are nice, price is good. It's nothing fancy, but it's clean enough and comfortable. If you are looking for a nice, clean bed, just a place to sleep after being outside in the city or partying, this place is all you need. I would go back. If you want a fancy one, then go to the marriot or something like that.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations since the owners changed. Therefore, its overall condition is not the best. On top of that, a good amount of miles of the Ocean Drive is being renovated. Therefore, there was mud all over the street and there were trucks and people working around the hotel at all times.

The location was great just a short walk to the beach and the popular eating places along Ocean View, the room was very basic but clean and comfortable which served our purpose for two nights touring and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I wouldnt recommend for a longer visit as the hotel does not have enough amenities, parking cost $25 valet parking per day and the air conditioning was too noisy.

The room was not de-lux it was very small and basic. The corridors were very dimly lit with dark coloured carpet. The air conditioning was too noisy and very close to the bed in such a small area. The shower was not adjustable to height and did not have a large enough shower screen to prevent water splashing over the cubicle. The hotel does not have a bar/lounge for food and drink/coffee throughout the day and only serves a light breakfast.

I liked the friendly staff, and although the room was fairly small, it was clean and relatively comfortable. I really liked the fact that it is just a block off the beach and easy to walk. The price was reasonable.

The only difficulty we had was finding a parking place! We ended up paying $40 to park a couple of blocks away.

Good location not a bad price.

No aircon and no cable tv bad wifi.

The location is good, at the end of south beach so no nuisances from the night life, but close enough to enjoy it (walking distance to all bars, restaurants and clubs). 3 minutes walk to the beach and a starbucks across the street (see further why this is relevant). The staff is friendly.

The hotel is art deco and respects that, however the bed was small and uncomfortable, the rooms small and not the kind you'll be happy to spend time in besides sleeping there. Breakfast was served in the small lobby where not enough seats were available for all guests, and only disposable containers were available (paper & plastic cups, plates and knives). Currently (January 2012) there still is an ongoing construction just next to the hotel that implies heavy machinery noises start at 7 A.M. Most unpleasant.

Very welcoming and nice persons. Always gentle and kind on giving informations, help and suggestions. The hotel just changed management and they are making many improvements. When they'll finish I suppose it will be much more expensive. Perfect location.

Is definately not an hotel for families and the breakfast room facilities are very poor, only 3 tables for 52 guests!!!

It's all about location! Also it's quite comfortable. Great value for the money!

The rooms seem bigger in the photos and the breakfast could be better. Thank God there's a Starbucks across the street!
