Century Hotel South Beach  

We liked being close to the beach, and the toiletries in the shower were nice.

The beach was next to a night club/restaurant and the music was loud long into the night. There was no curtain or shade on the bathroom window. The wi-fi did not work in our room. We booked at this hotel because the information said that there was on-site parking, but there is not. We had to park 5 blocks away, which was inconvenient. But the worst thing was that the receptionist took our credit card information ("in case you use the mini-bar"), and we found an unauthorized charge on the card after we returned home. We did not use the mini bar.

The price of Century hotel is hard to beat on South Beach. Starbucks across the street along with a park before the beach. Pillows along with blanket were plush. Staff was nice, not overly friendly but we didn't ask for anything expect for beach towels. Room is small but enough for two people.

There was construction going on that started promptly at 8:00 am so not too happy about that after being up until 4-5am. Location is nice as far as proximity to the beach but, it is one first and ocean so you are approximately 8blocks from the nightlife like Mangos and Clevelanders. 8 blocks in heels is no fun! Lol

Fantastic location - easy walking distance to the restaurants and bars. Across the street from the beach. Only 15 - 20 minutes from the airport.

What an amazing surprise! I booked this hotel for the first end of our 5 day vacation in Miami based on a reference from a friend. He told me it was simple, clean and friendly staff. That was an understatement! The owner was working there every day and was so helpful and kind (by the way....we didn't know he was the owner until we were leaving and asked how to get in touch with the owner because we enjoyed our stay soooo much). I was a small clean room with a very comfortable bed....clean bathroom...small apartment sized fridge ..small flat screen tv.....but everything we needed! The location is UNREAL...right across the street from the beach and within a block to the public bus that costs $.25 to ride up Washington Ave. Or my favorite was right on ocean dr. Walk north blocks and see all the art deco buildings....find shops...restaurants....bars..etc. Walk a little south and you can watch cruise ships sail out of the port. I can't say enough wonderful things!

Friendly, helpful staff. convenient for night's stay before leaving on cruise from Miami. Good price for the area. Cute hotel

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and you are really only there to sleep. The location was great lots of really nice places very near by all within walking distance. The price was right for a room that you are only going to sleep in and no real emeneties.

I just think for the size of the rooms that they should have been a little more updated. For such a cute place a little more thought could have gone into the decorating.

Great location. Great staff. Great value. Small room, but 2 beds and all we needed. Nice continental breakfast. Zero complaints and zero regrets.

The hotel is noisy, quite dirty, breakfast not sufficient and the rooms are very old !

Great location right on Ocean Drive, but not "of Ocean Drive". I say that because you are at the very beginning of Ocean, if you want restaurants, bars, clubs, you have to walk about 5 blocks up Ocean. Perfect for a couples weekend getaway

Friendly reception stuff, who let us go without additional charges. We have booked the room for 5 days but we moved out after two nights.

An old room, with a strong smell of something unclean, the bed was awful, makes a very loud sound with any moves. The frige worked like big diesel truck, so we switched it off. The bath: there was no chance to use a shower without having lots of water on the floor. And finally - the great view to scarpyard. And so much more. All these pleasures were costs for us 330 USD in total for 2 days (with taxes). That is not the reasonable price at all, we have easily found the great hotel for the last 3 days, with 1\2 price of that one. Don't make a mistake, do not stay there!

The bed was very comfy.

This place has no parking, so the only close parking is right behind it but it's only good till 2am. It dose not say that so if you stay here don't have a car with you.
