Clean room, updated bathrooms, not view of beach but nice park across street with beach access and only couple of blocks from where A1A turns inland.
Construction next door, didn't bother us too much daytime thing, no pool, valet parking need to wait about 20 minutes to get car, easy to plan after that. Breakfast was simple, but great restaurants close by.
Clean and tidy rooms, nice and helpful staff (receptionist gave us a tip for good restaurant). Very good location close to beach and busy Soth beach streets but still peacful. Close to airport bus stop.
Location: Between Cavalli Restaurant and Prime Steakhouse, Joe's Stone Crab round the corner, Starbucks opposite, beaches 5 minutes walking distance, quite sophisticated neighborhood! Good value for money in total
Construction next door, no breakfast, bathroom needs a make-over
Not very clean or attractive
The location was great- Ocean Drive is where you want to be when staying in Miami Beach. It's within a mile of everything we wanted to see and the beach was right across the street.
My first impression left a lot to be desired. The hotel is old, it was right next to a major construction site (which was loud and the only view I had out of my window), the staff wasn't all that helpful (didn't know the area as well as they should and didn't help when I was dragging my bags in). When I got to the room I couldn't get the door open because it was old and jammed. I walked in and there was dirt on the floor, there were marks all over the walls (they desperately needed repainted) and bugs crawling out of the sink in the bathroom. The room was also very small. It worked out well for me and my friend though as we spent most of our time outside of the room. However, for the money, I expected little more...
Staff nice but woke us up once in the night looking for someone smoking. They literally knocked on the door even with the do not disturb. I told Em to scram and they never came back.
Location was great. Literally a 2 minute walk to Nikki Beach as well as the beach. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the Ocean Drive strip. Couldn't ask for a better price for the location a right for its size. Honestly would go back for a stay of 2-3 days.
Staff was a bit uninviting. The area above the lobby area near the public bathroom was extremely dirty, something that would set off alarms for somebody walking in without reservations. But overall cleanness was good in rooms. Slight renovation would do justice.
Location was cool for beach, but a little walk to the heart of South Beach
It could have been a little cleaner.
Cheap, suitable, and walking distance to everything!
Construction next door, but there is construction every block on Ocean Drive.
quite a big room valet parking (but extra cost of 25$/day)
building works all around teh hotel Air Con outled pointed directly on a place of sleep, impossible to use it in the night
Its located few steps from the beach and two blocks from the bars and clubs. Personnel is nice.
The hotel was very quiet. It is also very close to the beach.
The appearance of the hotel left a lot to be desired. The lobby is quaint, but it ends there. The room doors were thin and shabby. The locks did not feel secure. The room was dingy. The paint on the wall was dirty. The bed looked dingy. The furniture is old. The bathroom was pretty ugly. The rules in the shower looked dirty and there was covered up water damage on the ceiling. There was also a strange smell coming from the shower drain... Like sewage. No safe for personal items. The a/c did not keep the temp stable while sleeping.
Price and location
Hotel toom had roches and dirty walls, room key kept stop working. Every time I took a shower the bathroom floor would flood with water.
The location was great. A few blocks from the main strip! The room was bright but its because we got the back from with alot of light. Its small so not too much noise from other guest.
The Construction would start around 9am. There was a roach!! in the closet where the fridge is( Trust me I wouldnt lie) The towels are not clean..its white and you can see the dirt (bring your own!)
The rooms are small but the bed was comfy. The walls are very thin so we had to run the ac fan all night. One night people were fighting in the hall. Then for two nights there was a big dog. I thought no pets. Breakfast is toast and cereal only. About 3 blocks from most resturaunts. No pool but close to beach and Starbucks if u are a huge coffee drinker. No coffee pot in room.
Old word charm updated. Convenient location, a little removed from the noise of the tourist area, however, within easy walking distance to nitelife as well as beach and park. The Italian man ( I'm so sorry I forgot his name) at desk was extremely helpful and charming and made guests feel welcome.
I wish they had 1/2 day valet parking :)
Very good hotel, great location, nice rooms.
Small breakfast. Suggest to add more different products - eggs, bacon, etc
tv placement, mini bar options, unreasonably small bathrooms, power outlet locations
All towels had yellow stains A lot of dust Hairs in the bed
Very clean, very friendly, great breakfast, price, location
I think there were bedbugs... not sure though... maybe just my allergy
Free towels Kindness of the staff Location
Breakfast room is very small
The mini bar refrigerator was broken and did not get replaced until two days into my stay. The telephone in the room did not work and when the table lamp was turned on a burnt smell Enveloped the room.
All.,first a good bad to sleep and the staff ist super
Good place! Interesting iterior, nice people working there. It's like a 2 minutes from ocean, can u believe it?! Good location and good ratio price/quality.
The room was quiet and comfy. Small breakfast with juices and coffee was a perfect start to my busy days.
Construction next door. Not the fault of the hotel and luckily didn't get too loud until after 9. Parking is outrageous. 25 dollars a day valet, paying the meters was far cheaper but had to walk a few blocks.
