The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Owner was very hospitable and conversation at breakfast was very informative. Breakfast was very good.
Nothing. I have no negatives.
truly lovely, delightful host, good breakfast
we are not regular b&b users but we found this one to be a true delight. the house and gardens are beautiful, the room/bed extremely comfortable, and the owner very friendly and helpful. so many little details and touches we wonderful. breakfast was delicious. highly recommend.
Easy to find, beautifully furnished great attention to every detail. Yard and garden were immaculate. Room was well furnished bed comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
When booking here be sure everyone is able bodied due to stairs.
Elegant touches, beautiful gardens but in an odd and disappointing location.
If you are looking for a quiet retreat with loads of charm, this is the place. The garden, interior decor, cleanliness, hospitality, and breakfast cuisine were exceptional. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
One of the other guests ate all of the homemade cookies.
I'm a big fan of B&B's and C'est la Vie ranks in the top echelon of places I have stayed around the world. I only had a brief visit because of timing and business demands but enough to know that I'd like to stay there again.
Property was in emaculate condition. Jack was a wonderful host.
Breakfast in the morning needs to offer more choice.
Great breakfast, wonderful host, spectacular view of vinyards
A totally delightful experience. Beautiful decor and excellent service. A truly enjoyable time.
The view upon first driving up to the Inn is truly memorable, as the brightly colored and tasteful confection rises from the quiet modesty of the sleepy surrounding neighborhood. The grounds are expertly kept, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the facilities lovely and comforting.
Unique, exquisite architecture, furnishings, and gardens. Helpful owner.
Room a bit small with low dormer ceiling on one side. Not unusual with a Victorian house,
Loved the garden and the charm of the interior. Breakfast was amazing! The host graciously prepared mine early to accommodate my schedule. Rooms were quiet and tastefully decorated.
The couple who run this bed and breakfast are beyond wonderful! The house is decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable. The room was spotless and inviting. We loved the jacuzzi! The breakfast was delicious! Everything was perfect! We were on our honeymoon and we already have plans to go back on our anniversaries!
Very nice accommodations. Comfortable bed, individual climate control in every room, quiet residential neighborhood close to the University, restaurants a short distance away.
The place was very clean, but I would have liked them to run the vacuum on the carpet daily.
Originality of the place Excellent breakfast Very clean Very beautiful decoration Very magic and mysterious place
The smell of the wood Un peu exigu pour trois personnes Avec des bagages I would meet Anne Marie the owner
Beautiful building, superbly decorated!
The wi-if was very spotty!
What a beautiful home, out of a magical fairytale. Rooms are beautifully appointed and the claw foot bathtub was my personal favorite. The hosts are charming and full of great local recommendations. You can also never beat a B&B breakfast!
This house is amazing and truly unique. The hosts were helpful with suggestions and information. The room was very comfortable -- the only exception was the sloped ceilings. My husband hit his head several times. Also, pack light. The stairs are pretty steep. Everything was clean and a nice breakfast was provided. We were within walking distance to several nice restaurants and not very far from OSU.
There were the couple slight inconveniences I mentioned above: but not unexpected in a B&B.
We loved everything about the house. A very quiet and cozy environment, warm and comfortable! And the breakfasts were delicious! The restoration of this Queen Ann is beautiful with amazing attention to detail. We will definitely have a return visit. It is necessary to plan ahead as this place is very busy.
It's a beautifully restored historic Victorian home, very well appointed, super comfortable, with a cordial host (when we were there), excellent lighting (important), beautiful bathroom, lovely antiques and a beautiful garden. The stairs were very easy (important). We loved all the clocks and the tasty cookies and the simple but elegant breakfast. All in all this was the very nicest bed and breakfast my husband and I have ever stayed in.
I thought the French artist theme could have been a bit more subtle. That's just my bias.
Small B&B only four rooms in the main house..quiet...comfortable beds..nice robes...
