This is a very delightful B&B adjacent to U of O, with a very friendly staff and delicious breakfasts. We learned a lot of history about the house and area from the innkeeper, who was very interesting to all.
cordiality of the innkeeper quiet night excellent breakfast
Beautifully updated property.
Would of liked a proper breakfast
Upgrade to the honeymoon suite.
Breakfast, though good, could have been excellent with no salmon omelet option.

Breakfast / no choice
Quiet rooms for an old home Claw foot tub in large bathroom Beautifully manicured landscape/garden Breakfasts Gracious host Close to town without the noise
Tremendous attention to detail in the restoration of the entire building, fit and finish was outstanding, wonderful fixtures, magnificent gardens. Nice chance to mingle at breakfast with some other guests.
Hotel was beautiful, furnishings and style top class
The house and gardens were exquisite, decorated in a french chateau style lovingly cared for by the owners. Every detail had been catered for, even a cloth to clean dirty items such as shoes, etc. The Matisse room was well equipped beautifully decorated as was the bath/shower room. Dining room and music room furnished with french antique artifacts, gorgeous.
Unfortunately, the issues we had were the bed sank in the middle which resulted in a disturbed nights sleep, not what you want when travelling. Also, no breakfast choice and no ask as to whether the dish served was OK. The food was good, but my husband does not like cheese and he wasn't given the option to let the cook know that before the meal was served to him.
Beautifully restored Queen Anne/Victorian home Friendly owners Luxurious rooms Excellent neighborhood Excellent price Option to rent the whole bed and breakfast
There is nothing to complain about whatsoever.
The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Owner was very hospitable and conversation at breakfast was very informative. Breakfast was very good.
Nothing. I have no negatives.
We were passing through Eugene in route to Portland. This bed and breakfast a most beautiful property. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the garden was a delight. The owner is a very talented gardener.
We booked a queen room which was described on the booking.com site as having a fireplace and seating area. We got a very small room with a very uncomfortable mattress. Next visit we will request a different room.
truly lovely, delightful host, good breakfast
we are not regular b&b users but we found this one to be a true delight. the house and gardens are beautiful, the room/bed extremely comfortable, and the owner very friendly and helpful. so many little details and touches we wonderful. breakfast was delicious. highly recommend.

When booking here be sure everyone is able bodied due to stairs.
Elegant touches, beautiful gardens but in an odd and disappointing location.
If you are looking for a quiet retreat with loads of charm, this is the place. The garden, interior decor, cleanliness, hospitality, and breakfast cuisine were exceptional. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
One of the other guests ate all of the homemade cookies.
I'm a big fan of B&B's and C'est la Vie ranks in the top echelon of places I have stayed around the world. I only had a brief visit because of timing and business demands but enough to know that I'd like to stay there again.
Property was in emaculate condition. Jack was a wonderful host.
Breakfast in the morning needs to offer more choice.
Great breakfast, wonderful host, spectacular view of vinyards
A totally delightful experience. Beautiful decor and excellent service. A truly enjoyable time.
The view upon first driving up to the Inn is truly memorable, as the brightly colored and tasteful confection rises from the quiet modesty of the sleepy surrounding neighborhood. The grounds are expertly kept, the staff friendly and accommodating, and the facilities lovely and comforting.
Unique, exquisite architecture, furnishings, and gardens. Helpful owner.
Room a bit small with low dormer ceiling on one side. Not unusual with a Victorian house,
Loved the garden and the charm of the interior. Breakfast was amazing! The host graciously prepared mine early to accommodate my schedule. Rooms were quiet and tastefully decorated.
